I posted this on Reddit's r/pathfinder, but I figure it could be said here.
What do you think the people of Golarion would be like in a modern setting? Things to consider:
-Technology doesn't necessarily mean that magic is obsolete, far from it. In fact, they can be seamlessly integrated into the form of powerful constructs.
-On Golarion, gods come and go. Universal staples like Asmodeus, Pharasma and Rovagug are obviously going to still be around, but what gods might have died in that time? What new gods may have come? Would some of the demigods, such as Nocticula, have ascended in that time?
-How would the various races adapt to the march of technology and culture? I can see lizardfolk, for instance, as being basically reptilian Amish people, kobolds as being the best home security firm you could hope for, andAndoran as a superpower society of people struggling with obesity and political stupidity.REDDIT: Someone on my original post said "Shadowrun. /thread". While I find that amusing, I know nothing about Shadowrun and, as I did here, I was asking about Golarion specifically.
Shadowrun is pretty much the classic "fantasy in the future" setting for RPGs, so it's a good comparison. It's dark and gritty, and much more up my alley as a modern/near future fantasy setting than is, say, Harry Potter.

My preference would be to assume the two spells have to be cast back to back, over two rounds, with contagion first and animate dead second. And I'd probably treat it as if it were one spell overall that simply took 2 rounds to cast, so that the point where one spell ends and the other begins is blurred.
There can't be a gap between the two, because that would mean anyone could turn a zombie into a plague zombie by casting contagion on it, and that's not the flavor that we want.

1) Do any of the domon lords involved in the Worldwound oppose/sabotage each other including killing each others followers?
2) Is Lamashtu involved in the Worldwound?
3) Are any demon lords opposed to Lamashtu and willing to kill her followers?
The answer to question three: Are you not familiar with Pazuzu? You know, the guy whose entire characterization is hatred of Lamashtu? I thought he was one of the more well-known Golarion demon lords...

Hah! I did enjoy the Shanties a lot.
How are your personal PF games going? I feel we haven't gotten an update in a while.
They're really not going at this point. THe combination of holidays morphing into gallbladder surgery and then heading into the Gen Con deathmarch has resulted in most of the game sessions being cancelled over and over, alas.

1) Yes, but not to an extent, really, that derails the overall plan. The architects of the Worldwound accounted for this sort of spoilage of followers in their plans.
2) Not really.
3) Pazuzu for sure. Others perhaps.

Let's let me answer the questions here! :P

I'm not. My current tv show schedule of:
True Detective
Walking Dead
Mythbusters
Archer
Finding Bigfoot
Agents of SHIELD
...combined with catching up on...
American Horror Story: Coven
Fringe (yeah, I know, I'm slow...)
Bob's Burgers
...doesn't leave me much time to add new stuff to the list. :-P

1st thing - Dark Tapestry, Lovecraft Mythos, Groetus, and Horsemen related (kinda). Minecraft Clock of the Universe's Life: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1CddzgVW14
2nd thing - Do you know if Bast or Bastet will be included in Mummy's Mask exploration of Osirion's Old Gods?

James: Not the Arrow show? And what do you think of Archer Vice?
Nope; haven't bothered watching Arrow yet. I've heard some good things about it, but there are other shows I've heard good things about that are higher on my "to see" list, like
Sherlock (I've seen 1 episode so I know it's awesome)
Bates Motel
Hannibal
Ummm... there's more but I can't remember them at the moment.
And Archer Vice is very amusing so far!

1) Not a question, but interesting.
2) Bast is mentioned in the AP, but I'm not sure what role she plays overall. That's a better question for Rob.

I just got done watching Jumanji with my nephews (they fell asleep to it). I couldn't help but wonder, do you think such a 'game' could work as an adventure in and of itself?
Like, it's an Artifact that compels people to play it and once you roll the dice you are placed under a geas/quest to continue. You generate an encounter from a pre-determined list (each encounter can only be played once) until someone 'wins' the game.

Here's that Reddit post I mentioned.
Did I strike gold when I brought this up? Because I'm getting some really cool answers about this.
Of course, the one about not being able to throw a rock on Golarion without hitting an imprisoned evil still amuses me, eheh.

What demon lord are Orcs most likely to worship?
Lamashtu, probably. Beyond her, I'd say the following are all about equally worshiped: Deskari, Nurgal, Orcus, Shax, Socothbenoth, Xoveron, and Zura.
They're more likely to worship the deities of their own pantheon though. Deities who've never been named before, but finally get names in the upcoming Inner Sea Gods book (although not a lot of details beyond their names... so don't get your hopes up there!).

It could work... I wanna say I've seen this plot element in adventures before, but can't remember one off the top of my head. It kinda seems similar to "The Harrowing" which is sort of a card game adventure... SORT of...

Congrats!
I've had days like that... but I can't remember the last time one like that did happen. I've had quite a few opposite days though!

Gen Con Deathmarch? Isn't it like... half a year away? Does this mean you're working on getting Iron Gods ready for Release?
When do you guys announce the Next AP?
The deadline for us to get all of our Gen Con products to the printer is the middle of April. That's two and a half months away... and we've got a lot more than two and a half month's worth of 40 hour work weeks to do in that time.
I've been working on Iron Gods since last August, in one way or another.
We will announce the next AP at PaizoCon.

I believe so. I wasn't involved much in its creation, so I can't say for sure.

We know that souls can be sent to Hell and the Abyss without going through Pharasma by ritual sacrifices, various demon abilities and certain evil spells, but how do angels snatch souls to be taken to Heaven without going through Pharasma's judgement?
There is some mention in the Carrion Crown AP about deathbed confessions that bring down the wrath of psychopomps, but nothing beyond that.

Angels don't do that. That's one of the things that makes them angels.
