I am allergic to corn, and soy, in a serious way. All food preservatives are made of corn. Anyone who really is allergic to corn has to make everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, from scratch. Soy is kind of irrelevant, because while it is a filler in a lot of stuff, all that stuff probably already has corn. Americans love to feed cows corn. Pigs eat corn and soy. THat rules out most meat.
The sum of all this... I am seriously healthy. I have not eaten anything with a food preservative for almost 6 months now.

I hope that everyone is doing well. My knee hurts too much to wade through 900 posts, so I am skipping them. On the plus side, the Doc appears to have done a good job on fixing my knee. I am lucky that the issue wasn't that bad. ~grins tiredly~ Now to get some food and take a pain pill in an hour or so. Have fun you all.
