Yay! Naked threats of violence!

Sure. I wasn't super pleased with some of the other comments.

I figured a mustelid fetish would let me go all rage on their asses.

I think McArtor fears the FAWTL.

I fear nothing, Aberzombie.

Except clowns, but let's not talk about that.

I was informed that FAWTL is up to #5. I'm impressed. I'll be back in 6 or 7. Keep up the great work everyone!!

Carry on. Carry on.

Yay! McArtor does not fear us! But, clowns you say? Hmmmm.......

You remind me of an awesome guy who used to hang around here. I heard he was the victim of an alien abduction.

Hey, that was his first post since May! And he graced FAWTL with it. Cool! We should make him an honorary member, or something.

Is it still abduction if he goes willingly?

Also, congrats once again to The Badgah for his KQ success. :)

I only saw four comments and one of them was a confused individual. Mind you, he was jumping to conclusions. I don't think you have anything to worry about. :) Did I miss something else?

I liked the article and I am excited to see part 2. Do you know when that will be posted?

It's not fun if they go willingly.

And the badger says "thanks". At least, I think that was in reference to your congratulations.

Probably next Thursday.

OK. Maybe I'm being sensitive. I could have sworn I two comments questioning the "cost". I kinda stretched my wings on this, so I am worried if I got it "right". I realize not everyone is going to agree with the design choices, but I hope it's not horribly off. :)

I totally understand.

Maybe there were some comments and someone deleted them. I am not sure.

Having only half the picture as of yet makes it difficult to judge whether you have it "right" or not. But I think it looks good so far and sounds solid.

With what I can see the cost doesn't seem too over the top and the duration of the drawbacks are but a minor hindrance. In many games this will likely translate to a day of "down time" for a week of benefits. Which is a pretty good trade off, depending on the item.

Even if the party creates a fetish and chooses to adventure further that day (or needs to adventure further that day), the drawbacks aren't so dire that they prevent the party from being effective. This is especially true for low cost fetishes. So there is some value in immediately imbuing/investing the item for use in the field.

Thanks.

I hedged my bets against abuse. I'll see how well it's received when the actual fetishes are published.

Since these are essentially reusable magic items, I wanted to have some sort of cost, beyond time spent. I did some play testing in my home group, but that's not necessarily the best sampling. :)

It's tall enough that thieves can't reach it, but short enough that you can put pies up there.

Okay, puffin's are like ducks in Iceland.

Anyway, our dog managed to catch another rabbit. This one is perfectly fine, I tried to put it back in the nearest nest I could find. It keeps climbing out, it climbed into my hand. It is not afraid of humans, which isn't good for it. We haven't seen any other rabbits in the yard and we're wondering if it is "Popcorn" from the other day.

Anyway, the vet won't take him but we've got some wild life shelters to call. He's too damn cute, and he knows it. Stupid little bugger.

You should ask him why the Star Wars prequels had a villain named Dooku... I mean why not just name the guy Count Crapula?

No, we can't keep Popcorn the baby bunny. But he is now lodged in an old birdcage with a nest of washcloths and grasses and a veritable buffet of grass, millet, apple, and zucchini. He refuses to wander around in the yard and keeps climbing Studpuffin, wanting to cuddle and nurse. Unfortunately, puffins do not lactate.

He's awfully skinny, but pretty energetic and has eaten some of the apple, grass, and zucchini. We're crossing our fingers that he makes it through the night.

Oy.

EDIT: Nekkid bunny dance for TotP?
