Hmmm... now that Urizen has told that story, I doubt that Uncle Badgah can do much better.

Awright folks! It's time for this DM to get home and shower and shave and nap in preparation for the second job. Here's hoping everyone has a great weekend!

Benedryl is powerful stuff. I avoid it when I can.

RPG Superstar 2012

During the summer between my junior and senior years of college, I went to a party at a friend's house. I felt kinda miserable from allergies, so someone offered me Benadryl. A few minutes after I took it, I decided to "dance". A few spastic seconds later, I thrust my arm up into the spinning blades of the ceiling fan. The blades stopped, but the momentum ensured the fan came loose from the ceiling. I remember deciding I needed to lay down after that, crashed on the couch in the living room, and woke up 5 hours later.

Then there was the time I shattered the glass on a vending machine, but I was "sober" that time...

It would be highly amusing for me if I could slip you a Benny and let you loose in a Slayer pit.

Wow, you people...

'May make you drowsy' drugs never affect me like that. For my allergies,I use Claritin-D 12 hour. A week or two in the spring and fall, then I'm good six months or so.

I just started using that. I've been impressed with it.

What happens if Urizen slips someone a benedryl and a rufie in the same drink?

Amazing drug, IMO. If I forget, or the season sneaks up on me, my allergies are violently bad. I've sneezed for 45 minutes at a time before, eyes bugged out, red, itchy. 'Just put a friggen bullet in my head already' bad. Pop one of those babies and within 30 minutes I'm almost human again. As long as I remember to take one every morning and I'm good. Hardly even notice there's a problem.

If your nose is 'running' after you wake up, it's because you're full.

The driver side window on my car won't roll up. Fortunately, our house has a garage.

Oh....I forgot to post this here. Some of you might have seen this on my Facebook page.

I am linking an article that details a fairly recent fire in a local apartment complex.

Apartment Fire

So, the apartment unit that caught fire was the one John and myself lived in before we moved to our new house. We moved out just before this happened.

The thing is, the AC unit was having problems during the time we moved out. It kept shutting off. Well, the complex maintenance man fixed and it started running again. So who knows what happened.

In any case, the situations that developed during our buying process had always led me to believe we were destined to have the house we now own. This kind of cements that for me, I think.

I feel so terrible for the person living there. I am given to understand he lost everything. And I would have been a wreck if I had lost one of my cats. I have been trying to track him down in the hopes there was something I could to help, send money, or what have you. Nothing yet, but I do hope his life is well on its way to returning to some sense of normalcy.

Not really... went on it for a couple of days and by the second evening, my heartbeat was completely unsteady. Almost went to the ER until I tried to figure out what had changed in the last two days, as it had steadily been getting worse. Cut out the Claritin and let it get out of my system and poof! Problem gone. There's no warning for it on the box.

I just spent forty minutes trying to open a bottle of ranch dressing. My hands are sore, the wrench has a few bits of green plastic on it, and one of the carving knives is a good deal duller, but that damn bottle is open.

~laughter~ That reminds me of an episode of Kim Possible where Dr. Drakken attempted to open a jar of pickles. Nothing he tried worked. None of his minions could open it. None of his evil devices could.

I edited my post above because it was supposed to be mock outrage and not a serious condemnation. Sorry about about that. I felt bad because I didn't really indicate that well. :)

And thank you. It was a little crazy to be certain.

I have to get to the store. I have been staring at this screen for a bit too long. Talk about your crazy Friday nights. Later, I might actually paint a miniature. Insane, I know.

I figured as much, but that is a problem with text style communication no way of indicating temperament.

painting a mini, haven't done that in a while. speaking of which I need to find a good size dragon mini so I can paint and give as a gift a little later down the road.

And I've witnessed the most fascinating arguing style ever. I'll call it "adaptive arguing" for right now.

Adaptive Arguer: The Earth is not round.
Unwitting Troll: What?? The Earth was proven to be round centuries ago!
AA: I never said the Earth was flat.
UT: *sputter* You just said it wasn't round.
AA: No. We just never defined "round".
UT: WHAAT???? I'm going to the Heliocentric thread.

This incident proves yet again the troubleshooting power of the simple question, "What's the last thing that changed before this problem started?"
