Is that what happened to Mairkurion and Urizen too? I haven't seen them in a while either. :P

Eh?
Papa-DRB, in the latest Hero Lab thread.
I saw that and thought it was pretty much crap. I am tempted to post something similar.
Yeah, he kind of flew off the handle there.

Thing that got me was that it's not the first time he's done that exchange.

Papa-DRB: My current program does x, will HL do that?
HL guy: We want to add that, but not at this time.
Papa-DRB: Oh, I'll look again when it does.

I've seen that at least twice. Innocent enough, unless you realize he is heavily involved with PCgen.

Not that the programs are in direct competition, since PCgen is free, but it's still pretty under-handed, I thought.

Drunken badgers and naked dancing do NOT mix.

So, wouldn't a hypocrisy exposed thread count for a hypocrisy exposed thread? I'm assuming the OP and all other participants are human beings, so I'd say yes.

Meh. Mel Brooks' History of the World Part I was better.

Seriously, folks, it's not cool to dump your leftover pharmaceuticals and last drops into the badger's punch bowl. How many times do we have to have this talk?

I bathed in that bowl... Is that what it was for?

Thanks all... I don't QUITE trust our basement parking garage tonight. I think I'll park outside in the high ground instead. At least my apartment's on the second floor -- still 20+ feet from the top of the water.

Are you in Highland and if so did you have an issues with the storm the other night?

I'm glad you liked the post. It seemed very apropos. :)

So the wife's company, which still has yet to pay her retention bonus, had a "safety" meeting yesterday.

This was too funny not to share.

Not one but rather two employees were let go from the school bus company. Both were drivers of the mini or short buses. The reason these, blessings upon our collective gene pools were let go you may ask? Well it was for driving the school bus through the drive though at a couple of fast food stores. Wait you may say that isn't a big deal we drive our minivan through there all the time. Well these wonderful examples of human intellect failed to realize that the bus is actually a foot and a half taller then the mini van chassis that they are made from. I bet you can already see where this is going can't you? Yep old Ronald McDonald lost an arm. Not once, no you would think after hearing about it the first time the second driver would have parked and walked in. No Ronald lost another arm too. And the best part? Brand spanking new 2010 buses; one of which has already been totaled because they backed up and hit the awning a second time and did so much damage it was not repairable.

Don't they have some kind of screening? Like, if you shine a light in the candidate's eyes, do they stop breathing? That might be a good test to start. :)

lol. :D

Funniest thing I've heard all day. :)

I'm trying really hard for the Mairkurion award.

Maybe too hard...

I'm not saying it's a lot of rain or anything, but Lowe's is running low on cubits of wood and there's a couple of folks running around gathering animals two by two.

Also, I drove by the office of my insurance agent at lunch and noticed that the parking lot surrounding the building is now a 2' deep lake.

Oh, how I'm missing the mountains I grew up in. Because, y'know, there's HIGH LAND. Unlike Minnesota where the "mountain" peaks at 250'.

Yikes. Good luck with that. And I hope it stops raining soon.

Telling people they've been added to your ignore list...yet another notch on the ol' socially "gifted" belt.

Nice! Last weekend I scored the Houghton Mifflin 2nd printing of the Lord of the Rings for a cool $20. No dust jackets, but with the sweet sauron eye and ring logo: >linky<

I was pretty stoked.

Wolfie: Check my profile.

SP: I hope you don't have any allergic reactions. At the least, I'd be worried about absorbing it through my skin.

While on errands, primal nature called and I strolled into the local HPB nearest me. This and that were going for $4.98 apiece. Paying that plus tax much cheaper than Amazon w/ the $3.99 shipping. Score!

Gratz! I ended up having Borders bucks coming my way, so I'm looking forward to next month.

Is it sad I haven't renewed by B&N membership yet? It expired end of August, but I haven't been there in awhile. I've cut back on my periodicals (read = foreign that are cheaper to buy at the newsstands) and that was the primary reason for going. May pick it up when it nears Thanksgiving, though. I like the fact that Borders' is free. The only issue is that there's two of them here in Central Ohio and they're on the opposite end of town. :/

On the bright side? Thank you, Amazon. I buy their gift card at the local grocery store. I've been finding excellent deals from third parties on there AND I get points to go towards my gas discount the following month. That's a WIN.

It took reading Wolfie's response to the "I'm ignoring you, see, I'm ignoring you" to understand what was going on.

Does spending too much time chasing A in any way correlate to action resulting in B with attendance and/or grades plummeting?
