Is that not what 'Bored' games are for? He could always play 'Monotony' it would kill a few days.

I'm happy. Teh new hawtness has been running all day with hardly any hiccups. No more *click*ing for awhile, I hope.

So I'm having a flip through the Proofing Copy of Coliseum Morpheuon before I head back to work (yeah back, don't get me started...) and the CR 17 Stat Block I created is actually in there! I was a little worried that it wasn't good enough and would be skipped. I am sooooo happy right now :D, which is good considering I wasn't last night.

Later All. have Fun! :)

Dark Archive

So did anyone get Dark Sun 4e? I wants it...but I don't want it to play. Is it worth reading?

That's what we were supposed to do with them? Uh oh.

Oh, you meant the web server. Nevermind, I automatically assumed you meant someon-, er, something else. :)

From what I've heard, most of the setting information is practically copy-pasted from the early 2e setting info. If that sounds good and you don't mind being tainted by 4e mechanics, go ahead.

*Involved with nearly every 4e game on this site*

So, the movie theater never got the encore for the Rifftrax show. We found out after driving 45 minutes to the theater. Bleh.

Pet shop?
The uncivil religious thread
Does that mean any thread that drives one nuts and won't die?
Yes, it does.

Looks like it was a 'different' pet shop, but the CRD thread is always an easy guess.

We should make a list of all the pet shop threads and bribe Gary to make them 'go away'. Maybe a Top Ten?

To core the pet shops down to just 10. Man, it would just be easier to ban specific posters.
Like this one?

Noooooo! Not that one!!!!!

Is Gary around? I flagged it, but there needs to be a comments section on flagging. There's tasteless and then there's "wow". The article was fine -- the title of the thread was not.

I flagged it as well, and let him know I did.

Dooodly dooooodly doo. I've completely lost it!

[self rant] WTF is wrong with me these days? I can't seem to get motivated. I go thru the motions but WTF? [/end self rant]
You're healing. Sometimes you shut down on a motivational level because your body is shuttling energy to other parts of you in the name of convalescensce. I know that happened to me when I was dealing with the knee delocation, some times I just didn't want to go anywhere or do anything and had to force myself through work or sometimes just to eat. But I made myself do those things, and eventually I started feeling like I wanted to do them again.

Thanks. I tell myself that but I also think it might be more. Maybe a mid life crisis/change of life thing as well.

I'll keep treading water. :)

Example of how low I've dropped - My buddy is starting a Pathfinder campaign tonite, and I'm struggling to get pumped for it. Maybe a dwarven cleric...then I could get away with being Grumpy. :)

It'll come back, E7. I think I've been in the same boat for about a year, but I'm starting to get my motivation back.

When I was a kid, I thought the game Monopoly was called that because it took so long to play it.

Sorry about the alias, it was one I cooked up a couple of days ago but never made until this morning. Ever since I saw the article on Nat Geo about saving the giant salamander, which they called a "Snot Otter". Must be colloquial, I've never heard of it before.

There's nothing wrong with the alias. I know you won't run it into the ground. :)
