Something about this post is incredibly ominous.

Turns out I didn't return to finish that thought :(

Ah well. Back to square one.

Gah, sucks. Way too common with selling bikes, particularly high end ones.

"Woo Hoo"?

Is Gary around? I flagged it, but there needs to be a comments section on flagging. There's tasteless and then there's "wow". The article was fine -- the title of the thread was not.

I flagged it as well, and let him know I did.

Ah, crude sexual innuendo. The last refuge for those who fail at game theory. Well then, if you had inherited more of the intellegent genes that drained down your mother-troll's leg during your conception, then perhaps you could understand that it is never wise to fnck with your betters.

Yeah he did.

Like I said, the article wasn't all that bad. Basically the police were left with the option of saving some or none. There just wasn't anything "woo hoo" about it.

The Exchange

It's too bad the thread got closed down before we could be lectured on how the police should have 'properly' handled the situation by a bunch of armchair law officers.

Consider who the source was. Some trolls have no decency... or is that trolls in general?

so the electricity had been dimming and getting brighter and dimming for a few hours. The wife asked if she should call the electric company or not. Well I finally told her to. Who should call but ~Sharoth~. So a few minutes of talking to him and she calls the electric company. They show up rather fast. I was very surprised. Turns out the neutral feed on the pole was shot and they had to replace it. Had a nice candle light dinner. Now we are watching Harry Potter while torturing my oldest by making him do homework that should have been done already.

Oh and ~Sharoth~ we have all your hoard!

Yeah but the amount of crap I put into my body every day at work, I can afford to skip a meal or fifty... :/

Slow and steady m'man. Believe me, I feel yer pain, and I am modifying some of my own bad habits. it's hard being married to a Cordon Bleu-trained chef =O. But junk and then nothing leaves only ... well junk in your system. Like making your car run on siphoned gas from junkyard wrecks. Sooner or later it's gonna make the engine seize. I want Bethany flapping about my game for a while!=P

And with that catching up on my PbPs I am gone. Bed beckons me with it's sweet allure and I have to be up for work in just over 4 hours.

GoooooooooooOOOOOOOooooDDDD Morning FAWLTY HOUSE!!!

Chugging away at work. Game tonight. Not sure what the day holds for me as I missed a lot of excitement at my place yesterday tooling around my mom's house- my wife had to handle a house full of the the kids next door(LOVE THAT SHOW) when their parents got into a strange fight. Here's hoping she can get to school and finish up everything she has to to catch up on last semester's work whilst I finish up everything I have to do here.

Morning, all. What did I miss?

You're healing. Sometimes you shut down on a motivational level because your body is shuttling energy to other parts of you in the name of convalescensce. I know that happened to me when I was dealing with the knee delocation, some times I just didn't want to go anywhere or do anything and had to force myself through work or sometimes just to eat. But I made myself do those things, and eventually I started feeling like I wanted to do them again.

Thanks. I tell myself that but I also think it might be more. Maybe a mid life crisis/change of life thing as well.

I'll keep treading water. :)

Example of how low I've dropped - My buddy is starting a Pathfinder campaign tonite, and I'm struggling to get pumped for it. Maybe a dwarven cleric...then I could get away with being Grumpy. :)
