I agree with Ellaria that whoever is trying to sneak in should be leaving the horses behind. Last thing I want is some massive animal giving away my position
With that Lupus dismounts and leaves stows his bacpack with his horse taking only his weapons and the clw potion with him. He will then proceed to the ford and attempt to sneak across and into the woods approaching the nearest sentry. Starting at position e16.

Before Lupus takes off, Vanion pulls out a copper wire, murmurs a few lyrical words and then points at Lupus. This should allow for us to stay in contact. So long as you are nearby we can whisper even the most faintest of messages and we shall be able to clearly hear each other. If you run into trouble, let us know.
Lupus sneaks up to the ford, the slight sound of crickets and animals in the back ground of the cold night air. You look to the areas where Ula said the towers would be. Indeed they are there, about 15' high with a hidden platform on the top that is easy to spot since you know what you are looking for.
There is a bandit on top of each tower.
At this point you can cross towards Bandit #2 or #3.
Updated map has been posted for Round 1.
Lupus will attempt to sneak up on bandit 3 by approaching to p26

Oops lupus instead approaches bandit 2 by moving to p5. He will stop if he feels he cannot approach that direction without increasing his odds of being detected.
That is what I was wondering, we still haven't heard from them about even continuing the campaign...

Hey guys, sorry to do this, but just don't have time to recuit new folks and the wheels have kind of come off this one anyways so I am going to end the PBP.
Sorry for letting you guys down, hopefully you had some fun while it was going and I know I have learned that even doing a PBP takes up more time than you think.
Good luck and I hope that you find a good PBP, I have read through a few of them on-line and some are really good, I wish I had the time to do this one justice but I don't so I don't want to half-a$$ it.

I'm really sorry to hear this, as it was an excellent pbp as long as people participated. You invested a lot of effort to make this work, so I want to thank you for your time.

Well I can't say that I'm surprised that this has come to an end. I too am disappointed to see it finish so early and would like to thank everyone for the experience.
I guess I will have to find a new PBP. It would seem that myself and Lupus were the only ones who weren't participating in multiple PBPs when the music stopped on this one. I can't help but think that that had an impact on everyone's level of participation here.
I have to admit I feel a little disappointed in that regard since the recruitment thread asked for people who weren't playing multiple PBPs and then it seems everyone else went out and joined others after this one started (including DM DK!). I was feeling badly for excessive RPing and posting when in reality most everyone else was over extended trying to play multiple games.
I guess I will chalk it up to lesson learned...
Thanks again for the opportunity and I hope to play with everyone again some day!

I had also kicked around the idea of DMing (since I have a lot of time/opportunity to post) but haven't decided yet if, and what, I would run. I really wanted a chance to play in a PBP first before I tried my hand at DMing online...

If you're interested, I can do what I'm do in my "Prisoner's Vacation" game and make stuff up as I go along in order to get to the ending(I try to have it make sense of course).
If you find a game where the shy Obi has a chance, you know what to do! ;)

I haven't seen many games popping up in the last week or so.
I'm still kicking around the idea of running a game myself, but that wouldn't likely happen until Sept. I could even take over GMing this thread I guess. (If those of us that remain are interested in continuing; Vanion?, Lupus, Elaria and yourself. And recruit a few fill ins.)

I'll be really glad to continue this adventure as well. Kingmaker seems to be a good idea for adventure, and we built quite a nice start on this thread.
Maybe we could look for a substitute GM and a couple of new players to take over the parts of whoever's lost?
Well, we could try and recruit a replacement GM, but I would think that is quite difficult. Anybody interested in running Kingmaker is probably running their own game already. It might be worth a shot though.
How about if we try and recruit a new GM, and failing that, I could take over as GM. I am on vacation the 1st 2 weeks of August, but if people are OK with a slow(er) start we could begin/continue as soon as I acquire the AP and read up a bit! :)
I've talked with Lupus and I know he is interested in continuing. Obviously you 2 are in. The question is, is Vanion still interested and is he checking this thread anymore? I could send him an email to see, if he isn't checking in here anymore.
