Er, what sucks?

And I'm sorry that it sucks, whatever it is. :(

Hubby's job....it just sucks. SUCKS! I so wish we could afford for him to just say Fnck all of you. He is always tired and always in a bad mood because of them. Sick of them treating him like s&@# when they work of HIS license. When he leaves they are screwed. a*~~@&&s!
During the evening and/or weekends, he ought to do some online searches and applications. What he has to deal with his job ain't worth the sanity.

He needs to look or else he might end up with a serious medical condition.

All joking aside, ride him until he starts looking for another job. Or threaten not to ride him if that works.

:P

Meh. Trying to get on that list is like trying to get a Yugo.
Never measure any form of (un)predictability on what makes 'the list'. Example: Mac got on without any effort on his behalf. ;)

Yeah...

I'm still celebrating that.

But now I'm just ignored. I guess you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth.

Cubs.

The Cubs shall prove their prowess upon the green field of battle!

At least that's what I fear.

Did you just use "Cubs" and "Prowess" in the same sentence?

Why are you ignoring me dragon? Did you not miss me? We've had such wonderful conversations about BttH before....

Looks like it's time to start the cooking process. We're having some friends over tonight and if I want to spend any time with then I need to get the chopping and stuff done now. I'm actually looking forward to getting to cook. How sick is that? But it's been so long... Though I don't think it will be that long again for a very long time. All the takeout did a number on my digestive system. I'd rather not revisit that.

Oh man. Did I just have a pet shop moment? A thread I was talking about earlier was just shut down(I was out to lunch at the time). Is that what they mean by pet shop?

Generally speaking, a pet shop is any argumentative thread about contentious real world issues.

Must've been one I haven't been lurking in...

Oh, nm then..this had nothing to do with real world issues, twas an argument about game mechanics and sneak attack and such.

Our cubicles at work have plastic holders for thick paper tags with our names on them. So, the first thing I notice this morning is my name tag, removed from the holder and placed on my keyboard. I'm freaking out, thinking "WTF?", and check the holder - inside is a new name tag reading:

Scott Abercrombie
Full Time Ninja

Come to find out, our co-op got creative with a CNC machine out in the lab we loaned him to. Needless to say, I laughed my ass off.

Does he realize that you have to kill him now? ;)

Naah, he's good. The first time he was around for the co-op job I made him business cards that read:

Alex "Silent Death" Rinaldi
Co-Op Ninja

So, he was just returning the favor.

I've done similar things for all of our co-ops and interns over the last year or three. One guy I nicknamed "Fo'Shnizzle", with the job title of "Co-Op MacDaddy". Another guy was nicknamed "Slim Shady" and job-titled "Bad Ass Co-Op".

Silent Death - That covers half of my gaming group. Well, sometimes. Depends on what they eat. :)

We had a good dinner. Chicken Satay, Hot and Sour Soup, Potstickers, and Ginger Carrots. And they brought Coconut Meringue Pie for dessert. All very yummy. :)
And they have such a very cute baby.:)

Hello to all...

Just got back from Atlantis where I worked with some friends on making Anima: Beyond Fantasy characters.

My character, Gage, is a 13 year old, seven foot tall, 300 pound, mute that beats people with a double katana.

...and good night to all.

*must resist* I haven't bought in years and I have hundreds and hundreds tucked away down in the basement.

But I admit ... would make a great diorama display especially with the light-ups.

I assume he's not human. (?) Otherwise, what is that kid being fed? Triplets?

His friend Donna (who lives with him) had multiple strokes and is still not coherent/responsive. Brain swelling. Infection w/ high fever.

Well, Taig and I got to hang out today, hit some gaming stores, went and saw Clash of the Titans (not bad, btw) and ended the night with a couple brews and a few games of pool. All in all a good way to dull the pain of the funeral earlier.

Taig is a cool dude, no doubt. I had a great time :)
