Okay, quick check. How close is everyone to being ready to play?
Sorry I've been out of it, I was planning
to get everything finalized this weekend,but family things popped up, long story
short drove down to florida for a family get
together, blew a tire coming up, stranded for
a day, now I'm back. My character will be up
by tonight once I get off work.
I still want to pretty up my character and get some real background up for the character, but statistically he is ready to go. Thats really all just fluff stuff.

Same here. Just need to write a background at this point.
Stats done, just needing to take a trip to the store and add a little background. Should get the former done today, the latter down the line.
Update: Shopping done, as well as the stats for my little droid, Zip.

first time in awhile since I've "hand made" a
character, so I'm gonna spend tonight double

character builder a lot) but I'm not sure if I

and this would be the first time I've
ever played a game of SWSE, so I had to

I wanted to apologize for my own silence this weekend. I had a kind of unexpected net outage at home and with the holiday yesterday I wasn't in at work. Hopefully things will be working smoothly again within a couple days, but since I can post from work things shouldn't be further affected.

What did you want to do about Tarlane? Are you gonna play his character or wait till he comes back?
I need to apologize to everyone. I haven't been motivated to check back to this PbP, and my absence hasn't be fair to any of you.
I've just been having a difficult time being motivated to check the IC thread for this game; we're moving around too much, constantly on the go, and I simply can't seem to sink my teeth into the plot. The focus on jedi has been rather frustrating for me from a character concept as well; I knew from the onset that jedi would play an important role in the game, but it seems to me that it's been turning into a situation were non-jedi can only play a secondary support role at best.
That said, I would like to try getting back into the game. Dave, are things going to settle down into a single setting any time soon, or is the plan to keep planet hopping? If we're going to keep to the one or two encounters and move on format we've used thus far I think I should just bow out; I don't think it would be long until I lose interest in the game again, if this is what you have planned, and dragging things out isn't fair to anyone.
