Running total spent is 1,599 GP before the scrolls of Identify.
The alchemical items, I was curious if Juriya could create those and, if she can, how much time it would take.
We still need to have Donimah use the scrolls of Identify on the magical shortsword and the magic arrows to determine their worth. Also did someone want to wear the breastplate +1? Arrian is proficient with medium armors but I'm not sure about reducing his speed to 30'; but the extra 3 AC would be nice.
If we're sleeping in the dungeon, let's make sure we have enough trail rations to go around. If we're going back out, let's meet Gogmurt on the way out.

Arrian has 4 trail rations but they're probably all for him. 8)

Definitely Bless and Communal Protection from Evil. I'm not sure if we should use the Weapons Against Evil or Alicia's Bless Weapon until we know for sure this thing has DR. Unless you think we should just in case.
I can cast bull's strength and have 2 enlarge persons handy if you'd like. I also have two visualizations of the mind though I was planning on saving one of those for myself.
To clarify, Arrian, you're wondering what OTHER scrolls I'm interested in besides what you've already got on the shopping list?
Juriya will take a Visualization of the Mind to up her Bluff skill (Intelligence, that way it also affects Sense Motive). This sounds like it's going to be an insane fight, so I figure she should go all in.
Unless "associated with" means original ability score, in which case, Chraisma.

Tough to say on the Enlarge Person without knowing the room. We could end up too big to get inside.
Scrolls: Yes on the other scrolls. Once Donimah identifies the magic shortsword and arrows we'll know their sale value and can see what else we can afford. I wanted to make sure everyone gets something from the haul.
On Arrian's list the Make Whole fixes his falchion (cheaper than buying a new one), the Identify (or two?) for the aforementioned items, and 'fix it' ones like Remove Paralysis, Lesser Restoration, and the two Magic Weapon (to bypass DR if it isn't evil) really should be bought.
The Comprehend Languages, Resist Energy, True Strike are situational and can wait if money is tight.
I think the Traveler's Any-tool is worth the gold since it's such a versatile item with several uses.
If Donimah needs/wants some scrolls or maybe a wand (Shield/Magic Missile) including 2nd level spells like Mirror Image, etc. they get expensive quick so I'm trying to balance the books so to speak.

Ok, I like Ethan's post with all buffs in a single sentence. Can everyone also post their respective buffs so it's easier for me to track?
I can and would it help to have them copied and pasted with every combat post? For example Arrian will have Bless, Judgement, Divine Favor, Protection from Evil, and possible Weapons against Evil at the start of the fight. I could post something like:
Bless: +1 morale bonus to hit, saves vs. fear; Divine Favor: +2 luck bonus to hit and damage; Judgement (Justice): +1 sacred bonus to hit; Protection from Evil: +2 resistance bonus to saves, +2 deflection bonus to AC vs. evil creatures; Weapons against Evil: bypass DR/5 or lower vs. evil creatures.
I try to cover what he's doing in his dice rolls with abbreviations like PA for Power Attack, FF for Furious Focus, etc. I can include those with the effects if you'd like.

To clarify again, do you need me to cast the identify now, or after the fight?
The GM wanted to move the action forward and not get bogged down with shopping details so he's allowing us to retcon back to Sandpoint with our loot from our first foray into Thistletop to identify, repair, trade, sell, buy, etc.
So the Identify(ies) happen here in Discussion as does the buying, selling, scribing, etc.

How many things need to be identified, so I can make those checks?
1 magic shortsword and 4 magic arrows. Each casting of Identify lasts 3 rounds, the number of rounds needed for each item. So my guess is the short sword will need one scroll and the 4 magic arrows the second one.
Not gonna lie Alicia (who is literally immune to fear) was considering to tactically book it, but she isnt leaving Ano behind.
That Crit probably refocuses the doggo attention on her, lets see if she is still up after the next turn.
Her current AC of 26 against is is actually not bad at all, and if the doggo would roll average for a turn instead of great that would give the party another turn of actions.
Ethan channelling may be a good idea, even if it would also heal the doggo, getting Ano back up is impactfull, even if she is prone she still provides flanking.
Alicia could also channel, but its only a d6 if she does it and I think she has the highest expected damage value vs the bad dog of the party.

I was going to channel energy, but it occurred to me that if Ano regains consciousness, she's going to be a very weakened, tasty target.
Instead, I went with stabilize. She's down, and unconscious, but not dying, and not currently a threat to the Barghest.
So, if we can push our way into the room and surround the Barghest, I can (hopefully) get to her and burn a healing spell, rather than channel and partially heal the Barghest in the process.
@ Ano Technically, aid another action, need to hit a DC 10 attack check (remember elephant in the room is on, so cherry automatically has dex to hit), you would have to pick whom you are protecting, and its only good for one attack, but mechanically it absolutely works.

I wanna wait to see if that’s okay from the DM before trying something like that.
In melee combat, you can help a friend attack or defend by distracting or interfering with an opponent. If you’re in position to make a melee attack on an opponent that is engaging a friend in melee combat, you can attempt to aid your friend as a standard action. You make an attack roll against AC 10. If you succeed, your friend gains either a +2 bonus on his next attack roll against that opponent or a +2 bonus to AC against that opponent’s next attack (your choice), as long as that attack comes before the beginning of your next turn. Multiple characters can aid the same friend, and similar bonuses stack.
You can also use this standard action to help a friend in other ways, such as when he is affected by a spell, or to assist another character’s skill check.
RAW, if she can a) get into melee with the doggo as her move action, she can use her standard action to make an attack roll against AC 10, granting either a +2 to hit on the next attack of the friend, or a +2 to ac on the next attack against the friend.
Its kind of debtable actually, since Cherry is I think very small, and may need to be in the bad doggos square to do this, which may be extremey risky.

I try to play my PCs to their Int, Wis, Cha, and personality/beliefs.
Since he just went from 35 HP to 12 there's no way he's going to tempt death by provoking an AoO from this thing.
It looks like there's some type of fire/lava pit next to the creature so Arrian can't 5' work his way around it to provide flank.
for a total of 93 damage
if its ac is higher then 22 then it would be 78 damage
If either Alicia or Arrian survives its next full attack we may be able to bring it down.
mathematical musings:
While it rolled very high, so did I. My expected damage value per round on it is about... (assuming AC of 22 for simplicity) roughly 50%ish hit chance with my main attack, which does about 3,5+12 damage unless its the first successfull one, so, 16ish damage with a 50% chance to hit, meaning 8 damage per turn from the main attack and about 3 damage per turn from the secondary bite.
So, expected was that I deal it about 11 damage per turn, which the blink would half to 5.5, but I got 44 in 2 turns (or 22 per turn), about 4 times as much as expected.
What is terrifying is its blink, we got super lucky so far that all of our big hits actually hit.
If the create pit happens, I will likely use one to channel positive energy and heal people, including Ano, Arrian, me and sadly also the Barghest, for d6+1 damage. Makes it more plausible for Ano to survive the fall damage because she is next to the pit, has to make a reflex saving throw when she ends her turn next to the pit and is unconcious which means she will fail it most likely.
hero point channel positive:1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

If the creature hadn't died from the last round of hits Arrian was going to use a Hero Point for another attack to try and finish it. That thing hits like a truck!
@Arrian: I hadn't noticed that about the ring. Man, that makes it so much less useful.
@Alicia: You still have a double door with a creepy image on it to the south. I marked it with a red dot on the map, which I had forgotten to do earlier.
@Juriya: Not in this book. Get comfortable in level 4 for now.
