Amazing work guys, you earned every sale.

VIC, LISA - I need to pre-order 3 more. If I place an order right now, would I still get them from PAIZO.com on or around the 14th?

Please advise,

My 100% unofficial suggestion is to put the order in immediately and hope for the best.

Congrulations, this is fantastic news. I am so glad I decided to get the subscription instead of trying to save a couple of dollars. I pray your second printing sells out as quickly.

Me too. I for one know that there are already 2 sales for the second printing, since I want a second copy for myself and a friend will be getting the PF RPG, the PF Beastiary, and the PF DM's Screen for a Christmas present.

Just got to heap my congratulations on the pile with everyone else.

Congratulations Paizo!

Well glad I placed that order last week then. Now I just have to sit back and wait.

On a side note since Paizo thought they had enough to last until years end that must be a very satisfying "miscalculation".

I believe this bodes well for the success of this game. I am really stoked for all you guys & gals at Paizo.

I'm sure the warehouse gods will bless the players at my gametable. Good advice. Done.

This is Awesome!! I have never before been geek-stupid giddy enough about a game to pre-order, but I am so glad I did now!

Wow, this is great news! You guys deserve it for putting so much work and effort on it.

I can't wait to have it in my hands...argh!!!

My sense is that if you place a pre-order or subscription in the next 24 hours you will probably get your copy in the first printing. Beyond that, I am not willing to make any predictions.

This thing is going to be WAY bigger than our most ambitious hopes, and I like to think we've hoped ambitiously. :)

Liberty's Edge

Congrats to the company and to the gamers who will soon enjoy the book. its pretty cool all around

Erik did you misplace your Harrow Deck? ;-)

Anyway, Great news guys! I am looking foward to running with these rules at GenCon, picking up a few more of the books and mailing them back to myself in Germany. Think I can get some boxes from you guys at GenCon ;-).

Scarab Sages

Congrats to Paizo! This is awesome news!!!

One question though... Ballpark... How many copies were printed in the first run?

Makes me wanna brag to all my former friends that are playing 4th Edition. :D

Congratulations! Happy for the success for Pathfinder...as long as I get MY copy! :)

Great news! Congratulations!

I know you took a risk in ordering an amount of books as high as you did.

Thus a sellthrough ten days before street date is such a big news: I think you will sell the big book at GenCon with big grins on your face. ("Yes, we are proud of this book." "Here, buy what we have been working on for the last 18 months".)

Will the second printing include the errata?

Ten days before the launch of their much-anticipated Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook, Paizo Publishing today announced that the first print run of the book has sold out, with all preordered copies on their way to stores for an August 13 release.

Congratulations Paizo! Here is to a long and gloriuos rule. You all deserve it. Thanks a bunch.

Grand Lodge

So how many copies were in this print run anyway? I'd like to know my odds of crossing paths with someone who has the book when I return stateside.

Wonderful! Congratulations!!

WHOOHOOO!

I bet there will be a mini-celebration tomorrow at the Paizo Chat!

Awesome guys! Can't wait to get mine in. I am currently playing the most awesome Bard ever:)

Well done Paizo!

I've only recently discovered the company, but I've really enjoyed all of the Paizo product that I've picked up so far and believe you really deserve the success.

I've been holding off on the order since I'm going overseas for a working holiday shortly and didn't want to order until I knew what country I'd be in. So it looks like I'll need to wait until early November to get a copy in hand now! At least the pdf should tide me over in the meantime though. :)

Darn. I was planning on waiting and saving up and getting one at the end of the year with Christmas/birthday money.
Looks like I may have to make other arrangements if I want a first edition.
Hmm. Although Wayland's Forge did have a Beta still on the shelves after other places had sold out....
:-?

Oh well, congratulations are clearly in order for everyone at Paizo. :)

Liberty's Edge

Wow. Congratulations are most definitely in order! You guys rock!

I was originally going to order my first copy through Amazon to save a couple bucks, but dammit, you guys are my FLGS and I owe you my support not only for your awesome products, but for your awesome staff too!

*pre-ordered*

Here's hoping I'm in time.

Hooah! Good thing I got my subscription in last week! :)

Congratulations all!

I understand if y'all cannot divulge, but I have to ask: How many core books were in the first print run? (or was that answered and I missed it?)

Edit: Never mind - I see the answer - I was too slow on the submit :)

Second that :)

Hmmm... How about a Pathfinder fiction contest? Short-story winners to be included in a Pathfinder Anthology series... just an idea... probably already been tossed around...

<terminate thread-tangent> :)

Wow ... now I'm triply glad that the husband and I not only subscribed, pre-ordered a second copy for the pair of us, but then pre-ordered one for our friends for their anniversary gift :)

GO PAIZO!!

Thanks everybody. There has been some very entertained expressions around the office over the past weeks as the orders started to roll in.

This would not be the success that it is without you guys, the dedicated fans, playtesters, and lords of the boards.

Jason, how big is the grin on your face, man? And have you been able to STOP smiling?

Not terribly shocked. But happy. And looking forward to many more printings to come.

Congrats I can say as a current 4E DM and soon to be PFRPG DM :-)

Just make sure you also give us more warning than 24 hours if you are going to run out of PDFs!

Congrats!

In two weeks time I'll be able to lay my sweaty paws on my books (three, one for myself two for gifts...) I've ordered mine through my FLGS and I think that the good people down there are a li'l bit tired of my "Are you SURE that you've ordered enough?!?"

anyway, you guys deserve it!!!
