Ok, as It was just the Lord Fyre and myself, I do believe it is time to withdrawl rather than talk to myself.

Hope to see some activity here later!

Now that everyone has gone:

As long as it's a different dish too. :)

Good morning L-S Warbucks and Mairkurion.

Why so grumpy, Mairkurion?

Yesterday was Szechuan chicken. Today I'm thinking General Tso's...

Mmmmm......Szechuan chicken

Long story.

Short version: Mrs. M's not happy last night/this morning, so nobody's happy!

Scarab Sages

I woke up grumpy this morning. Luckily, she went back to sleep pretty quickly.

Hee hee. I had that last night. My wife was tired and cranky, and like you said, nobody was happy.

Sorry to hear about it, M. I hope it gets better.

Who am I kidding? I can't get enough of that Chinese restaurant. I think they put heroin in the Szechuan chicken to keep me coming back.

SWEET!

Couldn't you get shot, or shot at?

Well I could, but I already played that game when I was in the military. I'm used to it.

Huh...well, if that doesn't work out, I hear Ted Nugent is looking for a bullet boy...

Yeah, the chinese place I always go does that too. I tried making walnut shrimp at home and it just wasn't as good as theirs.

MSG?

Dark Archive

The place I go advertises No MSG.

Good luck with the next phase of your interview process, David!

Do you need a 12-step program?

I have always wanted to start a twelve step program for people who are addicted to twelve step programs.

I had the same waitress. She probably thinks I'm nuts.

It was delicious though. Now I have two sets of leftover Chinese food to eat.

Ok, I am officially worn out! I have had to pick Kellen up from school...again, I am working on about 20 hours sleep, and I have yet to get to my final...stupid phone kept ringing...Kellen's school!
I just need a break! Why couldn't any of this happened NEXT week? *sigh* Did I mention that Riley (the baby) is sick and though in good spirits still has to have a runny nose wipped every five minutes.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Hello. Work interrupted my posting. Grr.

Sorry to hear about your baby. Nothing keeps a parent awake more than a sick child.

True. I wouldn't normally post during this time of day. It's the day before a holiday, though. :)

Hooray! Top of the page! It's been awhile since I've been here.

So far he is sleeping just fine. But that doesn't mean that I am not up cheking on him 2 or 3 times a nite.

3 slides down....12 to go!

I think I have a progressive rhythm down....

Facebook...paizo...slide...facebook...paizo...slide....and so on.

:D

Hope the kid feels better soon, Solnes. I know it sucks when they're sick when they're really little. Actually it sucks at any age, but somehow it sucks a little less when they can wipe their own nose and tell you what symptoms they're experiencing.

Lanslides..Paleozoic era...shale and sandstone...

Just a few of my power point highlights I thought I would share...;)

Ayup! lol...he seems ok, very unhappy when I shoved a vitamen c tablet in his mouth but pleased when it was followed by a yogurt. The hard part is I am out of cold medicine and no cash...grrrr, why do they always get sick when I am broke? And I am so not paying doc fees for a cold!

Anyways..how r you? I didn't realize that your hubby was a FB friend of mine till just yesterday... I just thought he was someone who friended me for Castle Age...lol, I can be kinda slow at times. :)

Mind numb...can't think...wanna sleep.....

I think I'm done for sure now until Monday.

Everyone have a great weekend, hopefully with no sick kids, domestic strife, or other issues.

Yeah. And you have now stumbled onto the reason why I rarely Facebook. We sorta have an agreement, I mostly leave Facebook to him and he mostly leaves Paizo to me. He loves Facebook. He keeps telling me about all these people he's reconnected with from high school and stuff while I'm thinking why would I want to reconnect with people from high school? I didn't like them the first time around. ;)

lol, I did that too at first. I was all excited to see all the people I went to school with..untill I remembered that I hated high school and that these people didn't know me at all. So I went through and deleted all the ones that "meant nothing to me" *giggle*

Moorluck and I were joking around last nite about something similar though...about how if anything happened to us we would be fighting over who got what time on the boards and how it would have to be decided.
Well, I am now going to doze for 20 min before I have to get dressed for work. Done some school work, some dishes, taken care of the rugrats, even scrubbed the stove. Moorluck should be pleased his lil not so housewife did a lil something! ;)

I may just be a crazy old grognard, but it bugs me when people interchange 3.5 and D&D tradition like they were somehow the same.

It bugs me when people offer super-reductionistic readings of my posts, and then I have to make statement's like" "If players are to play characters in a shared world, they must have some knowledge of it. Otherwise, you're not role-playing, you're playing 'Guess what I'm thinking.'".

David Fryer wrote:

What the hell is wrong with being a "crazy, old grognard"?

Damn whipersnapper!

Hehe, you sound like me, I hated (for the most part) everyone else in high school, why would I ever want to "reconnect". I never connected in the first place. :P

Moorluck wrote:

Heh. Exactly. I was more interested in doing my own thing than paying attention to the status quo back then, and I really haven't changed in the meantime. :) The only people I care about from back then, I already have email addresses for and we stay in contact a bit still.

Same here. I graduated in a class of 34, and I hated most of everybody in high school, and don't worry it was a reciprocated hate, they made fun of me, I hated them vicious circle. They tried to make a joke involving me and someone else in my class, in a homosexual nature, the staff felt they did not want to show that. I am guessing it was because my favorite color was black, and I loved to study firearms, oh and wear camo pants. Can anyone tell me why they were afraid of me. ;)

oh yeah anybody have any tips, hints, remedies for sore muscles and I believe bruised bones

Well, it won't help bruised bones, but a long soak in water with lots of epsom salts is great for sore muscles. Also, orange oil will help soothe muscle spasms.

just asking because i am sore after my second muay thai class, might have to hit the apartment hot tub
