ORANGE!!!

Dark Archive

So I was watching The Fresh Beat Band with my kids (think the Wiggles or the Doodlebops but less annoying) and they were doing a story where the Beats decide to try some new instruments. As they were playing a song on their new instruments, one of the girls said, "Do you know what this song needs, more cowbell." I almost fell out of my seat laughing. I love when preschool shows sneak in little tidbits for the parents.

The one about the young chick and the Chinese man having an affair? Yes. I watched it as part of an English class in which we also read the book. It was interesting.

Mmmm.....Jane March.

And good morning Solnes, and to you all!

Anybody here ever watched the film, The Lover?

SFA??

No, I haven't seen or read that one.

A little off topic, but Moorluck posed an interesting question...is a one nite stand considered having an affair? Or is it just cheating?

Major crisis averted...thanks to having wonderful freinds!

Yes. That sounds like a question he would ask. I guess it depends how you feel about it.

I am hungry now...now that I am a little less stressed. And I have yet to work on my final today...I think I am going to rummage through the fridge and see what I can come up with...I know that there is salad and yogurt...maybe some lunch meat and cheese, I know I just bought bread...hmmmm....I think I can make this work!

Actually the way he phrased it was..."And..Solnes says that its not having an affair of it was only a one nite stand!" And then he kinda cocked his head to the side and wondered out loud if it would be...I'm going with just plain ole cheating...an affair would constitute more than once with one person. I would say. Both onviously being wrong!

Why is it that when someone is caught cheating they say that it meant nothing! I think I would feel better if you ruined our marriage b/c she meant something...rather than throwing it away on someone who ...well...meant nothing!

Hooray!

Pointless whinging ahead...

Spoiler:

3 minutes after I signed off on the lateral move within my current company, I get an e-mail from the other company implying they are going to give me what I asked for. I realize I'm being all, "Woe is me! I have two good job offers! My life sucks!" What it boils down to is fear of making the wrong choice, I guess.

To make up for the whinging...

Spoiler:

BOOBS!

No, I haven't seen or read that one.

Ah, Jane March. MMmmmm.......

An affair is an emotional, on-going thing, a one night stand is just cheating, imo.

You know I was reading the Advice column in one of our independent papers at work last nite and it had another "My husband has had an emotional affair..." And all I can think is What is an emotional affair? Are you complaining that he made a friend and cares for her? I'm confused!
