While I could certainly expand on and do something with Baba Yaga's hut since it's mythological, the concept and contents of her hut as detailed in Moore's adventure is not really from mythology. If I were to do an official Pathfinder version of her and her hut, it'd be something brand new, which is kind of tempting too.Still... Once we're over the SIGNIFICANT hump that is the RPG and the Bestiary, I'll be getting back some free time and maybe I'll start tinkering with it again. It WOULD be cool to see how the adventure looks with PF RPG rules in place...
Let's get it on people!

I want to see this lodged in Paizo's thought process for after the Role-playing game is finished...
What would this look like....?

The folliwng is my vision for the possibilities this could encompass:
I have this vision of an AP based around Irrisen, centered around the implication that in the campaign setting that Elvannia's reign is about to come to an end, presumably because a new daughter is about to be installed. The AP would culiminate in a visit to the Hut. This time of confusion is the perfect setting for an AP, because you've already set the stage that Elvannia and her own immediate family do not want to let go of their grasp on Irrisen too easily. A perfect opportunity to weave in the Land of the Linnorm Kings and the Mammoth Lords too. Vikings versus witches!
You've also got instant product tie-in with the Cities of Golarion, which will provide supplemental data on Whitethrone.
I know I'm biased because I'm pitching the idea, but I think it sounds totally bada$$.

i see such aP beginning really in the Land of the Lynorn Kings and only finishing there... maybe visiting the Crown of the World in the process... but definitively full AP in Irrisen its not exactly atractive... considering how dangerous the palce is for low level characters (ok i see a couple of low leevl scenarios there, but not the full AP, i see it as aplacer for a Climax or a fundamental piece, not the whole thing)

I've had great fun letting my player's character's encounter Baba Yaga, who discovered that she approaches the hunting and eating of children a lot like an old trout fisherman approaches catching a trout. The point of the game is not to eat as many children as possible (with her power level, she could have a non-stop kiddie banquet if she so chose) but to give them a sporting chance so the chase is more fun.
That's why she leaves her hut littered with feather tokens for captured children to pick up and use against her in their escape attempts. The idea that some little girl might be clever enough to drop the mirror that forms a lake onto a hillside so it pours downhill and washes the dancing hut away? That's fun!
It also explains all the fairytales about kids who actually survived an encounter with Baba Yaga.
That would actually make a rather cool Pathfinder Trait or maybe two. One for the kids who successfully escape Baba Yaga and another for the ones who serve her so flawlessly that she eventually pats them on the head and sends them on their way with a present (which happens in a few of the other stories as well).

Yes! I'd love to see this. I know the topic has come up before, and I'd still love to see it. This could tie in so well with the Land of the Linnorm Kings. Vikings, trolls, witches, epic sea voyages, fey . . all that and the fact that I want to read about those huts that guard Irresen's borders (the ones with the creepy dolls from the CS).
I really hope that this is more a question of when Paizo will come up with this AP.

Add another "Yes, please!" to those who would love to see an updated version of Baba Yaga's hut, etc.
While I understand why some would prefer it as a stand-alone module, would that really be enough space to do it justice? I can better envisage it as part of an adventure path, with a back-up article (or two) in the same book.

But Jacobs does have a big problem -- I expounded on this a bit in the other Thread but the pugwampis ate my post.
Roger Moore's adventure in Dragon was really, really good (check out his "Thanks To" acknowledgements; I copied 'em on the other Thread). And since Jacobs won't really be able to do a Return To cuz the bastids at WotC own the intellectual property for Dragon -- Jacobs would have to do something completely new. A good possibility, still -- and Jacobs's style fits the specific adventure very nicely, but I'm not confident anyone can beat the original -- look how poorly S5 was received!
Hopefully there's a way -- time permitting -- for Jacobs to do Baba Yaga both in honor of Moore's and still not tread on WotC.
Here's hopin'

Hell yeah, thanks Heathansson, that was a cool little online comic.
Anyway, thanks for the support people! Let's keep it up!
If not for an AP, then howabout a super-sized high level module? Erik Mona has suggested that eventually he might allow for one of those!
Wolfgang Baur would add good flavor to a project like this as well.
We need the Hut!

You just want a Pizza.
Actually, this idea would be very dangerous. With all the vast powers at her command, she would have no trouble smacking arround a mere-games editor like Mr. Jacobs.

LET LOOSE THE JACOBS.

Perhaps it should feature her son, Jabba Yagga and his Hutt?
;)
Seriously, this would be cool. Why not bring in some of the politics of the region as well? The final Hut could be huge inside (an extradimensional space). The spell is called Baba's Magnificent Mobile Mansion, since involves a chicken-legged walking residence.

This adventure would be truly stupendous. I picture a sort of crazed madcap adventure as the PCs alternately flee from Baba Yaga, do her demented bidding, and attempt to escape from her hut alive. Defeating her seems like a mistake.
Survival horror, basically. And James would be just the guy to write it.
Go James Go!

welll since i would prefer this as an AP... why not include Nick Logue and Richard Pett as some of the writers?
Sean K. Reynolds can write about the old gods of Irrisen :D
Old gods that's days is past, and lost most of their power....so they're reduced to being strangler things in the wood.
