Did you have anything in mind to kick things off? We've been chattering here and somewhat setting up our personalities here. Did you want to carry this over to the real thread, or are we starting fresh there now that we have something of intros as to how our characters got there(though that seems to match up with how we placed ourselves in this thread).

I used a lot of how you guys presented yourselves in this thread to write the backgrounds. I'm going to do an introductory post later this afternoon (eating lunch at present) and after that you'll all have a chance to talk/complain amongst yourselves for a little bit before the action starts. So you're pretty well starting fresh there.

Lynora,
I need some place onboard or sneak off the side of the ship where I can submerge myself, or are you going to make an exception in this world?
Patience, grasshopper :) Thanks to the antics of your shipmate, this will soon be not so much a problem :)

Looks like we are either going to get the crap whipped out of us or are on our way to a mutiny. And between Kauul and myself we are all throwing ourselves under the bus for the beatings.
I am sure Quen could do better to keep his mouth shut more and probably led us towards this. Hope this doesn't seem to be derailing anything. I am enjoying that the team does seem to already have a sense of camaraderie and is definitely standing up for each other though.

Thats what I was thinking. I figured quen could get a good whipping and deal with it, but he's not going to let one of the others get keelhauled for nothing. One of the others getting punished pointlessly would be bad enough, but that is part of shiplife, demanding discipline and all that.
Assuming we don't get a complete and utter smackdown from them, we'll just have to try and keep things non-lethal and either earn ourselves some respect or maybe actual status on the ship, depending on how the captain responds.

Honestly, I'm making it up as I go. There is no set plot, just a lot of different things/places/people you can interact with depending on what you choose to do. You cannot derail it. There are no rails. So far I've been having a blast, and you're certainly keep me on my toes, staying one step ahead of you guys :)

Sorry, emergency out of state, just got back into town.
No worries. I think we were waiting on you for an all of like two hours :) It took that long to get around to you in the initiative order sadly. I was going to take your action for you if you didn't respond by tomorrow morning. Hope everything is all right.

Minotaur confused by obscuring mist? Is that possible or am I thinking of ADnD minotaurs?
It says they can't get lost, and are immune to maze spells. There's nothing in the minotaur description that suggests they aren't just as subject to miss chance as anyone else, which was what happened. Eh, probably just my interpretation of it.
