Rowan Darkwinter |

I was going for a Cleric from Faerun but it looks a though its not that setting do you mind if I simply explain my cleric arrived and is trying to adjust to the fact he doesn't recognise the surroundings at all?
My original idea was using a character I played back in 3.0 which was a cleric of helm and using the idea he had disappeared years before the spell plague only to be accidentally ressurected as a result of an artefact being dropped and touching him, however most of his original gear was either stolen or unlike him didn't survive the shift in time forcing him to make do with spares until he could restart and has barely recovered from his return to life having had to relearn practially everything he once knew becoming a cleric of bahamut because it had been a member of Bahamut's faith who helped him back to town after his resurrection.
Any details about the game world if its not Faerun?
If this is the case if you don't mind he arrived on the campaign world a few years ago and was found by a member of Bahamut's faith having lost his memories of his past life resulting in him trying to relearn what he has lost and became a cleric of Bahamut believing its the path he wants to follow...

I really would rather stick with characters native to the world, I'm afraid. So no Faerunians.
The world is the one alluded to in the PHB and DMG and associated Wizards of the Coast materials- i.e. there was an Empire of Nerath that was predominately human but united all the races together peacefully. This empire fell roughly a century ago to external pressures (marauding tribes of gnolls, goblins etc). Warforged were created as a last ditch weapon of war to prevent further loss of life, but their gaining of sentience but a new spin on things.
Centuries ago, there were two empires , one of tieflings, one of dragonborn. They went to war. Essentially, they both lost, and their empires collapsed. Nowadays, hardly anyone knows about this war, and dragonborn and tieflings get on fine in general.
Eladrin are a familiar enough sight, if not common, as are elves. The loss of elven homelands has pushed them more and more into human towns, and the dwarves are coming down out of their mountains, both to trade and through the loss of their holds to enemies.
It is a dark age between the fall of one empire and the rise of the next, whenever and whatever that might be.
You are points of light in this darkness.

Okay so here goes;
A former soldier and a cleric, Rowan spent most of his childhood in the military before being discharged where he returned to the life of a simple healer in the service of Bahamut, however matters have come to a head where he needs to don his scale armour and draw forth his sword and shield to help defend the innocent from the darkness once more.No longer the youthful naive warrior cleric he was, Rowan now sees himself as defending not only his faith but also the hopes and dreasm of the next generation of heroes to inspire the founding of the next Nerath Empire.

Grafire Serpenthelm |

Grafire will take a break from his normal duties with the local military to help is fellow clan kin Akahale in an investigation. He really looks forward to this as his normal duties require long drawn out political meetings. He could use some stress relief by crushing some skulls and some feel good by helping his fellow brethren Bahamutites.

Fabes DM |

Rosey - Akahale - Dragonborn Warlock (Dark Pact)
Lazaro - Seram Zal- Human Barbarian
Ragadolf - Mandrake the Mad - Human Wizard
Pat - It - Warforged Fighter
Hopeless - Rowan Darkwinter - Cleric of Bahamut
Mon Soul - Grafire Serpenthelm - Dragonborn Warlord
Nice. So looks like the dragonborn are of the same clan, and have hooked up with Rowan at the temple of Bahamut back home perhaps
'It' is Mandrake's bodyguard, and possibly creation, no-one's quite sure. Seram Zal? Seems like he might be muscle they met on some adventure or other and he stuck around for wine, women and wealth.
Just my thoughts, cobbled together with all of yours! :D
Game thread to follow!

Akahale Gilbrid |

Akahale is delighted to work once more with his old friend and clan member Grafire. While Grafire's life consists of political meetings, Akahale's consists of long hours spent poring over musty and unpleasant tomes and following up dubious sources of information. He longs again for the cleaner air and wilder life of evil-seeking. A break away from research is just what he needs.
Father Rowan's work at the temple is exemplary, but surely he too needs to recharge his batteries and take another look at the world in company with his fellow Bahamutites. It's true the Seram Zal can be crude company, but he has an unerring instinct for trouble and to an investigator, that's worth more than gold. Besides, the man himself is an artist. An artist in slaughter, but to fully embrace such a talent is rare enough to merit applause.
As for that deranged wizard, who knows what goes on in his head? It's a certainty Mandrake himself doesn't half the time. Why else did he disappear for weeks four years ago and reappear with a newly forged warforged servant? Odd behaviour and an odd chap. Luckily It seems to have been bypassed by whatever idiocy Mandrake put into his making and is a worthy companion in arms...
and so on and so forth and this is just random burble. :D

Mandrake the Mad |

Mandrake: ** spoiler omitted **
Oooo! Manny likes!
"I don't what you smell you big metallic oaf, get your rusty can in there!" ;P
"Don't argue with me Tin Man, YOU can be replaced with a toaster! How would I know what a toaster is?!? It obviously has something to do with toast! Or possibly 'Er'. Now get in there and hit something! Mmmm,... toast. Lightly browned,... Nice and crispy,..."
;)
