Just a quick apology from me (again) for disappearance - real life was not especially kind and I hope to be back to posting again soon if people don't mind the crazy mage getting loud again. I've missed Yin as a character and really missed bouncing her off you guys..
Get in on the boast if you can.

Well, I'm settled into my new house. Several of my adventures are nearing their natural stopping points -- partly because I intended them to end before I moved but things took a bit longer than expected and I moved a bit earlier than I expected.
Our friend Nameless had to back out of PbPs as he didn't have time to keep up with his Internet addictions. If there is anyone else who wants to take a break, story appropriate places to retire your characters are approaching.
In other news, I still haven't made it into the FLGS -- looked through the window. Warhammer is well represented but I couldn't see any Paizo stuff. Must get inside! (Safest way would probably be to go when they are open.)

I miss old Kamris, I never did pop back in. :D
You'd be welcome to.
Kamris (once NPCed in my mind) was kidnapped and bundled off to Kaer Maga where he was sold to an agent of Red Mantis, taken back to Korvosa to be tortured to find out information he didn't actually have. He didn't actually betray Red Mantis but they believed he did.
He could have escaped.

I'm okay either way. I haven't been active in it lately, other than just following along with the story. These characters are fun to play, but we've kind of told their "major" storyline. Maybe it makes sense to set it on the back burner until "the next big thing" comes along to affect their lives? That should free all of us up to explore a new PbP game with a new character if there's interest.
For instance, Council of Thieves is just a month or so away. Someone might want to run that. Down the road, I may give a PbP game a turn as GM and I'd love to bring several of you guys along for that if you're available. Whether that's Fellnight Queen or something else remains to be seen. But it's a possibility for sometime in January, maybe...i.e., after the release date.
But that's just my two-cents,

So what's the plan for the Spires thread. Wrap it up or continue with it? Either choice is fine with me.
When I said "wrapping it up" in the other thread, I meant "nearing completion". There are two areas to explore. I'd suggest breaking the group into two and exploring them. Kannonfodders can provide support for either area.
However, neither area needs to be explored in order for King Klyndak and his clan to settle in the spires.
Area 1: The bottom of Garrisonspire. No real hint has been given about what is there except that the kobolds barred the door to it.
Area 2: The bottom of the mines. Aberrant flesh colony. Also, Klyndak and Orlan's ancestor Klidlik disappeared there.

Yes, yes, and no to the aforementioned modules. As in, I'm familiar with both LB1 and LB2 (they were part of the swag Paizo handed out to guests at PaizoCon...woot!). Don't know anything about Pharaohs, though I did get to meet its author Michael Kortes. :-)
I'd be interested in any and all of them.
My two-cents,

Then let's try this. There are two remaining parts of the Keep that we'll set aside. The area in Garrisonspire that has not been explored can only be safely entered by someone with the blood of the Hammerfoe Kings so only Orlan and Klyndak would have been able to go in (unless Ovirid turned out to be a relation).
The area in the mines is nice and yucky but can safely be closed off.
We'll set those aside and if ever survivors of the 'Foray into the Foehammers' feel like a reunion adventure, we'll send them into those areas.
I'll recruit players for the other adventures soon but priority will go to people who have played in PbPs before and those who participated to the end of one of my PbPs ('Foray' or 'I Swallowed a Bug').

Late to the discussion, but I'm not familiar with those adventures by name. I'm going through Savage Tide, so if one is part of the AP, I might be familiar, but I think I can separate player and character knowledge if necessary.
Unless major things change on my end, you can count me in when you're ready to start your new games.

Neither of them is part of Savage Tide. You're welcome to join either one of them.

This is Alex, formerly the elf known as Rellios. I don't know if I'm the last person anyone in this thread would expect to hear from, but here I am.
This is really my first chance to get on the boards, and it looks like this particular PBP game is now over I guess. In any case I wanted to extend a message to the folks in this thread:
I cannot apologize enough for falling off the face of the Earth to everyone, especially to Hru, Klyndak, and Tarren - who I had started this game with. So if you are still reading this board, my sincerest apologies.
I don't know if particulars are essential, but for those who might have wondered, my sudden departure was health-related mostly. I was in an automobile accident, which did some serious damage to my right hand - nonfunctional at one point. It took some months of healing and rehab (plus frustration), but it looks like I'm OK. I made for a lousy lefty, by the way.
There were other issues, related to family and work in the current economy that didn't help. All of this has pretty much kept me away from these boards for most of the past year. Things are finally starting to get back to relatively normal for me, maybe getting back into a game or chatting at least.
I have missed the adventures of Klyndak, Hru, Yin, Kamris, Orlan, Sir Manfred, and the Kannonfodder bros. I also wanted to say thanks to Tarren, for allowing me to play and making it interesting to play. You were a great DM to play with, and I apologize if I made your job harder by my sudden departure.

I was a lurker when you left and participated late in the thread, but it's good to see you back. I'm four years removed from a similar situation -- I was a lousy lefty, too, but the only other person in my household was chairbound going through her own rehab, so I learned to adapt. We joked that between us we had three good arms and three good legs...
Still wondering if the scar tissue will ever loosen up, but I type faster now than I did before the accident. And rehab got me going to the gym, so I guess something good came out of it. Welcome back!
