Pathfinder Charter Superscribers!
Riddle me this:
I'm a Superscriber, but the tag doesn't appear with my one and only alias (I don't use the "main" username because I don't want my actual name plastered every where!)
Anyway to get the tag associated with an alias?

I'd like to know this too.
EDIT: the box around your avatar is for superscribers, by the way, so your alias is marked, if less obviously.

Well, your actual name is a click away, though. Your alias's profile will list your current name as an alias of your other name.

I'm pretty sure it's possible to change the display name on your main profile to whatever you want if it has less than ten posts. It was when I created my account. I just use an alias because I like this name more.
BTW Insert Neat Username Here, thanks for the info about the box...I did not know this.
I found out about 5 minutes ago. That's what finally convinced me to go ahead and subscribe to the companion.

We know who you are, Lee Wood.

As I understand it you are a Charter Subscriber if you have had a subscription to the AP's from day one without a break in your subscription. A Charter Superscriber has all 4 subscriptions that has also had the AP subscription from day one. A Superscriber has all 4 subscriptions but has not had the AP subscription from day one, either because of a break in their AP subscription or subscribing later in the year.
Just my 2 cp.

Hmm mine has superscriber instead of charter even though i have all 4 subscriptions as well. Which I thought was what it was with all 4. Not that it matters.
IIRC the 'Charter' part is for someone who subscribed to the adventure paths from the very start. I carried my subscriptions over from Dungeon and Dragon, so I qualify on that count.

Nah, I only had the AP subscription from the beginning. I added the other subscriptions later on.
So "Charter" is for all thos who were early in getting the APs.

Hey Vic,
Why does my tag not show me as a "Pathfinder Charter Superscriber"?
I converted my Dragon and Dungeon subscriptions into Pathfinder subscriptions and also signed up for a subscription before Pathfinder started. Do I not qualify as a "Charter" since it took a full year before the Pathfinder subscription went into effect?

This is kind of sad, but the answer is in the charter subscriber offer from way back in 2007: "Just sign up for an ongoing month-to-month subscription to Pathfinder before August 13, and we'll include a free copy of the [Rise of the Runelords] Player's Guide along with your first volume. (Plus, you'll get a nifty "Pathfinder Charter Subscriber" tag next to your name on our messageboards.)"
The problem is that you signed up for the subscription *on* August 13, not *before* August 13. So you didn't get the free Player's Guide or the Charter tag.

Oooh, ill luck, friend.

That was because when I converted my pre-paid subscriptions I was told that was all I needed to do and I would get the Pathfinder subscription when the magazines stopped printing.
It wasn't until someone from Customer Service called me on the phone on August 13th saying that the ongoing Pathfinder subscription was going to be different from the magazine subscriptions.Instead of pre-paying for what was to come, it was now going to be billed as it was shipped. If I had known that when I converted, I would have signed up for Pathfinder then.

Charles,
We mentioned this in our Pathfinder FAQ at the time, as well as in our Dungeon and Dragon transition FAQ, and in several blog posts; in addition to the one I linked above, it was also mentioned in this one, and it was discussed on the board quite a bit as well, including a thread entitled "Your chance to be a Charter Subscriber is running out!"
Also, I checked our correspondence records, and we sent you three e-mails that included this information. On August 6, 2007, we sent one entitled "The Stage is Set for Pathfinder! Get your Rise of the Runelords Player's Guide!", which included the following section:
...you can get a FREE print copy by becoming a charter subscriber to Pathfinder. Just sign up for an ongoing month-to-month subscription to Pathfinder before August 13, and we'll include a free copy of the Player's Guide along with your first volume. (Plus, you'll get a nifty "Pathfinder Charter Subscriber" tag next to your name on our messageboards.)
...and on August 7, 2007, we sent you (and thousands of other people who had chosen to transition to Pathfinder but hadn't yet signed up for an ongoing subscription) the following e-mail:
Charles,Pathfinder is coming!
Next week, we expect to begin shipping the first volume of Pathfinder to subscribers!Because you elected to receive Pathfinder in lieu of your remaining subscription credit, you'll be among the first to receive that first volume, and we appreciate your willingness to give it a try! We're confident that you'll be pleased with your choice.
We also wanted to let you know that your opportunity to become a full-fledged Pathfinder Charter Subscriber is about to end. In order to become a Charter Subscriber, you must sign up for an ongoing month-to-month subscription to Pathfinder before Monday, August 13. (Note that just transitioning issues from Dragon or Dungeon does not get you Charter Subscriber status—you must sign up for an ongoing subscription to qualify.)
Charter Subscribers get two perks that other subscribers don't: a nifty "Charter Subscriber" tag next to their name on our messageboards, and a FREE print copy of the Player's Guide to Rise of the Runelords, which would be shipped along with your copy of Pathfinder 1 next week.
We'd like to thank you again for trying out Pathfinder. We know that Dragon and Dungeon magazines hold a special place for a lot of people, and we believe that Pathfinder won't disappoint. When you get your copy of the first volume, please let us know what you think about it on the paizo.com messageboards!
If you have any questions or concerns, about Pathfinder or anything else, please let us know.
Sincerely,
Customer Service

Then, on August 9, we sent you the "This Week at Paizo" e-mail that included the store blogs linked above.
I'm sorry that you feel we didn't do enough to get the word to you, but we did the best we could (without being potentially annoying).
This isn't something that we can simply fix for you, partly because it wouldn't be fair to the other six dozen people who also purchased subscriptions that day, or to the even larger number of people who made sure they had their ongoing subs in before the deadline. Mainly, though, it's not just a simple checkbox in our system—it's calculated based on the actual date that your order was processed, so it's not something we can easily fudge.
