Alchemy check DC 10
Roderick looks through the doorway "I will circle around back to cut off any escape." and he starts down the street looking for a back ally.
Tuon is up.

DM Dreamweaver |

"Last chance, little one."
The thief quickly looks around at everyone in the shop and looks back at Tuon, "Fine, if I give you back the money, you let me walk out of here. If not, I might be able to kill one or two of you before I go down." The thief reaches under his cloak and grabs the now shrunken purse stretched to the limits with the money that didn't shrink. He stays alert holding the money. "Your call."
I will suspend Initiative for any non combative role playing.

Kobold Catgirl |

"Don't worry", he says, seeing his 'friends' expressions of disappointment. "The money will return to its size upon leaving him. Now, thief, Id be perfectly willing to let you go. You've done me no harm. However, that decision will be left to the aggrieved party, and I suspect that you might wish to apologize and make amends."

DM Dreamweaver |

Galen will go by the laws of the city. If the thief can return the money and be set free, so be it. If not, he will still attempt to apprehend him. What does the law say?
The City Watch would detain and fine him according to the law.
The thief looks at Creed waiting for his answer, "Well?" he asks.
"If I may ask, what is that sword that you hold? I have never seen the likes of it before."
The thief looks behind him at the halfling but quickly turns back to the larger group ignoring the question.

As she watches the thief dismiss the halflings questions she decides she has had enough. Bri walks up to the thief and gives him a little push. "What is the matter with you! That guy asked you a question and maybe when you are your normal size you think that you can just ignore us little people but right now you are our size and you are about to get the wrath of Bri" Bri puts her fist up into the air trying her best to intimidate the thief.

The thief stares at the small halfling with a stunned look on his face. "What the....." Suddenly a nasty grin spreads across his face and he lunges toward Bri trying to grab her.
Grapple check 23
Bri you must make an opposing grapple check.

Bri's eyes widen as the thief grabs her around the neck and pulls her against him. She can feel the sharp edge of the glowing blade press against her throat.
The thief puts Bri between he and Galen, "I know you will not let me go so here we are. Now I will walk out the door and leave her and the money once I am outside."

Love to have been a fly on the wall for that, dreamweaver. 1 action point used.
Fair Tuon Clawed Init 12+2=14
Was defiantly interesting, alot of me "hee hee look what I posted" him "thats what you get!" I was shot down and he had a shi**y grin on his face
Int: 8+8=16

Scardd's eyes widen at Bri's sudden unexpected action. Then they widen more when Bri is taken hostage. The Half-Orc's mouth drops slightly and his brow furrows. He then tightens the grip on his spear and looks from Creed to Galen and then to Tuon, not really sure what to do.
Initiative (Roll 15+3=18), Scardd will most likely delay, deferring to either Creed, Galen, or Tuon with experience in the city. Unless, of course, the thief does something first.

New Initiative
Thief 22
Scardd 18
Bri 16
Hatt the Cat 15
Tuon 14
Galen 13
Creed 10
Skidd 6
Keeping a tight grip on Bri and his blade pressed against her throat the thief takes a quick look behind him at Skidd and then faces the group in front of him. "Now back up and let me through or I will slit her throat."
He eyes the crowd waiting for them to move, his red blade ready.
The thief has readied his attack on Bri if some one attacks him.
Scardd is up.

Scardd, realizing that he is not in the thief's direct path, does not move. He tightens his grip on his spear and looks at his Halfling friend. "Bri, ztay ztill." Then he looks down at the floor by the thief’s feet, he widens his eyes then lifts them. Looking directly at the thief with a slightly agape mouth, the Half-Orc says in a scared voice, “Watch out! Ze floor! Itzzz Zlippy!”

Creed of Kord |

"Now back up and let me through or I will slit her throat."
I am back from my wayward travels. Thanks to Utak for taking the helm! ~santinj@
Creed put his palms out, "STOP! Do not hurt the girl. Take the money, you wretched coward, and be on your way, but the girl stays here. So much as draw a scratch on her neck, and your life is mine."

Skiddifig Hahdrik |

"Oh, go ahead, kill her.", Skidd says, spreading his arms, "But we are both intelligent gentelmen, and we both know that you can't. I'm sure that you could, if you wanted to, but we both know something: I may not be devoted to this girl. I don't even know these people's names. But these folk are. If you did kill her, that man has already made it clear what will happen. So if you kill her, you'll never get out of here alive. So I'm not afraid to attack you. Because you can't kill her anyways."
Not making any Intimidate checks or anything, as I'm just telling him the facts.

DM Dreamweaver |

“Watch out! Ze floor! Itzzz Zlippy!"
Twisting Bri's arm the thief sneers at Scardd, "Well you had better hope I don't slip and cut your friend."
"I'm not afraid to attack you. Because you can't kill her anyways."
"If I kill her you are next so I would keep my mouth shut halfling if I were you." Putting his face next to Bri's he whispers "Alright give me any trouble and your dead, we are heading towards the door."

Bri Leagallow |

Bri listens to what the others have to say and even though a knife is at her throat she still is surprised at how defensive they all are about her. Inside it makes her smile. "Hey there now I wouldn't dream of giving you any trouble but I don't think we need to be talking about my death and all, its not like you would really gain anything from killing me. Plus I am cute and you never know maybe if you gave me a chance to get a good look at you maybe I would find you to be cute as well and we could see where it could lead us! Has anyone told you that you have a very manly smell to you, most women may not like that but don't worry I am not one of them. Hey maybe I could get use to having your big strong arms wrapped around me. Has anyone ever told you that before? I mean the whole big arm thing that is, they are quite nice. I don't suppose this is the best time to ask you this, but are you currently seeing anyone? I mean after all with your manly smell and big arms I don't know how anyone could resist you. How do you feel about a girl that is just a wee bit smaller than you? I mean really they say that age doesn't really matter so why should size matter. If you really think about it every girl wants a man that can sweep her off her feet and as far as I can tell, you would be great at it" Bri is running ideas through her head as fast as she can but all she can really think about is the fact that she shouldn't have opened her big mouth. Bri is also hoping that if she keeps talking to him then maybe someone else will think of a way to get her out of this, or if nothing else he will realize that she never shuts up!
Bri will keep up with her useless chatter until he lets her go or someone else figures something else out
Not sure if I need to post for an bluff or not and I didn't see any action move that resembles insanity by constant chatter!

Fair Tuon Clawed |

"You would slay our Bri over a purse of gold? I can not allow that. There is no way I will trust a thief to leave with her. Hand over Creed's purse, stop your blade and just leave. You have my word that I shall not stop you. The choice is yours. The alternative will be unpleasant, just look at my face, no one will recognise you when I finish."

Bri listens to what....... he will realize that she never shuts up!
The man twists the small halflings arm, "Would you shut the hell up!! Now get the hell away from the door and I will leaver her with you....." the thief yells at Tuon. "..and you can listen to her incessant chatter." He says more to himself than anyone in particular. His gaze drops to the floor as the cat comes charging up, "What the.... the most courageous one of the butch is a cat, most entertaining."

"I hate to bring honor into this, as the only folk who believe in honor can typically afford to not live a life of crime (no offense, knight), but my cat is a werecat, and werecats are very honorable and get mad at dishonor like this... and werecats are very dangerous. Did you know, once a man slighted very slightly a werecat, and he was never seen again. So i'd be careful. Breaking the law makes them very mad. And you don't want to see one mad. have i told you how dangerous a werecat can be? Well, they have huge poisonous claws in their true form, but they can change form like the blink of an eye." He snaps his fingers. "Just like that! Have i told you how a man once slighted a werecat--and was never seen again? Well, this is how it went...a man said to a werecat, 'now, you animal, pull this cart!'. And the werecat wouldn't. So the man insulted him. The werecat lept at him and clawed him across his shoulders, and vanished!" He snaps his fingers. "Just like that! And so everybody went searching for the man--he was a king, you know, and his gurads--I forgot1 the guards vanished too! Anyways, so they went looking for the king, and they found a pile of bones. And they burned them, because they respected the werecat--he was a tyrant, you know--anyways, they were grateful for the werecat and left a sacrifice for it. And the werecat never took the sacrifice, see, because he didn't want it. You know why? Well..."
Taking Bri's idea, he's trying to distract the man from the cat.

Skiddifig Hahdrik |

"...see, the man lied to the werecat. And the werecat got mad and bit him. And all the villagers got mad and attacked him, because they liked the man, but he was a secret drunk, and so they didn't like him much after that. Then they sought down the werecat, and thanked him, but the werecat didn't want to be thanked, so they had to leave, and did I ever tell you how deadly a werecat could be? Well, they have sharp claws, and sharp teeth, and a sharp tail. And all of them are poisonous! So everybody's afraid of werecats, but they were grateful and left offerings, but the werecat didn't want them..."
