A large and imposing fellow, Creed is bald, has a close-cropped goatee, dark (almost black) eyes, and red tattoos that cover much of the right side of his body and face.
Creed has the wisdom of one who has seen much of the world, but unlike others in his profession, Creed shows a marked disregard for book learning and keeping the traditions of faith. For him, his body is Kord's temple, and it is a sign of character to keep that temple in order, rather than a place or building.
Creed is loyal and gregarious, and has a simplistic view of life. Things are strong or weak, good or bad, and there is little in between. Though observant of the world around him, Creed has little patience for those who study this-or-that particular nuance of the world. He would rather experience all that the world has to offer.
A brawler at heart, Creed "spreads the faith" of Kord by engaging in contests of strength. Religious debates are bar fights, the winner making the strongest point by knocking out his opponent.
Background:
If life has taught anything to Creed, it is that life is short and only the strongest survive. Raised by the Priests of the Strongest One (i.e. Kord) in the border-town of Sallis, Creed learned from the first that "might equals right."
Because of his disregard for the trappings of religion, and because of his natural spell-casting abilities, Creed met a mixture of attitudes in the church, from admiration to envy. So, when his mentor--a father-figure in Creed's life--died from a rare disease, Creed decided to leave his home and depart Sallis forever at the tender age of 16.
He has been travelling ever since and has seen the cities of Lowinol, Orthal, and Psion Keep on his way to Keeper's Dale.
