Skiddifig Hahdrik, or 'Skidd', was born to two famous druids. Everyone was certain that he would follow in his parent's footsteps. Skidd was, too. He trained as a druid, and was expected to soon become a mighty one. While he was still training, however, a plague swept through the village. Fortunately, being a village of druids, a cure was soon found. But first, a few folk died. Among them was Skidd's parents. Suddenly, everyone's expectations of him were higher! He would be mighty, he would be magnificent, he would reach immortality. Skidd had little idea of why he was now expected to create mountains when before it was alright for him to simply live relatively normally. When he was at last tired of living in his parent's shadows, he sneaked off to the city. Here, he was much more at home. Soon he began to see strange things, things that he was not supposed to see. Wondering what was happening, he went to consult a wizard. the wizard told him that Skidd had great potential as a wizard, and tried to train him. Skidd, however, sensed the trap and left, knowing that the wizard would try to control him for his own ends. *He soon found a small white cat with blue eyes, which is really his familiar. Skidd keeps this a secret, however, as he loves 'Hattyn' more than life itself, and does not wish for 'Hat' to become a target for weakening Skidd.There was one problem, though. His beloved animal companion, an owl, was stolen by some tracker druids, who were angry that he had left. They had left a trap for Gelbern, and Skidd's friend was caught and kidnapped. He would do nearly anything to have Gelbern back. He began to build a fresh start as a mage, knowing that one day, he will have to truly renounce his old home, and he knows that he will have to be ready. He must get his friend back.
Personality: Skidd is friendly, and will give one the impression that he would trust a mad dragon. He often seems a bit sad, though, like one who has had the world and then lost it.
Appearance: Skidd is a handsome, agile man who could 'charm the fish out of the water'. He is tall for a halfling, and thin, and often has a well-trained pet cat with blue eyes and white fur around his ankles.
