I was thinking just that the other day :-)

We've got a ton of Koreans living and visiting here, and going to Seoul is the only way most locals get to see a foreign country. A lot of locals can also trace ancestral relations with Koreans.

I stayed in Seoul for a while a long time ago (1985). I will never forget when a Korean woman grabbed me and tried to drag me into a narrow alley in Itaewon. Two American soldiers came in after me and she took off. I shall ever be grateful.

My father took me there; he was lecturing on American foreign policy. Living on campus I also had the opportunity to see several student demonstrations and got tear gassed twice. Ahhh, memories.

Hey!! I have family in Dickson and Nashville. I grew up about an hour, hour and a half from Nashville, then moved to Knox for college and stayed up here.

I grew up in a pissant town outside of GR, but a substantial chunk of my family tree winds through Detroit and into Quebec.

Currently, I am stranded in the god forsaken wasteland of SoCal. I am so sick of sunshine.

I am a lineman for the county.

And I drive the mainroad.
Lookin' in the sun for another overload.

I hear you singing in the wire. Chorus 1
I can hear you thru the whine.
And the Wichita Lineman,
is still on the line.

I know I need a small vacation.
But it don't look like rain.
And if it snows that stretch down south,
won't ever stand the strain.

And I need you more than want you. Chorus 2
And I want you for all time.
And the Wichita Lineman,
is still on the line.

Loo: And who are they?

Dr. Klahn: Refuse, found in waterfront bars.
Loo: Shanghaied?
Dr. Klahn: Just lost drunken men who don't know where they are and no longer care.
Prisoner #1: Where are we?
Prisoner #2: I don't care!
Loo: And these?
Dr. Klahn: These are lost drunken men who don't know where they are, but do care! And these are men who know where they are and care, but don't drink.
Prisoner #3: I don't know who I am?
Prisoner #4: And I don't drink!
Dr. Klahn: Guards! (move prisoners) Do you care?
Prisoner #5: No.
Dr. Klahn: Put this man in cell #1, and give him a drink.
Guard: What do you drink?
Prisoner #5: I don't care.

It's always funny when you see the spoof before the original (happens frequently with the Simpsons). I saw Enter the Dragon the other day and when they came to the cells with drunken men who didn't know where they were and no longer cared, I busted out laughing for no reason.

Yeah, but there are people in the Mountain Time Zone that have delusions of there area being Got's Country. They are wrong, of course ; )

Rio Rancho ie next to Albuquerque, NM about 4 hours east of Phoenix or 4 hours north of El Paso or 8 hours south of Denver, most of us put this stuff on are profile page the last time we did the location thing.

but, I consider myself from DETROIT, yeah baby! Go Wolverines! Go Lions! Go Pistons; Go RED WINGS woot I love hockey from HOCKEYTOWN and go Tigers who have been slipping a bit lately. Detroit is probably the worlds best sport city and would be if we could get the Lions up going with a winning season.

crikey I'm right in the middle of you two! I'm on the Central Coast, and if you go by train and get off at Gosford, that'd be where I'm at.

Oooh! I've been there! My best friend's parents have a house there and we went during spring break last year! Neat!

I hail originally from Southeast Michigan as well!

And yeah, it would be nice if the Lions could field a winning team, and sometimes they do alright, but they really need to find a different Front Office strategy then "pick up the best running back we can afford, and build the rest of the team with whatever we have left over."

Try a good passing game some time, guys.
