Your house sounds lively.

I can't wait for the talking to begin from my son. He is trying so hard, pointing and eyes popping out, like failed telepathy.

Everyone says we will regret it once the questions start.

By the way did you say that Colter is working out in Africa or what?

I have now idea how but everyone of them is still alive. Even the one that was out of the water for 5 minutes is still swimming around like nothing happened. Even with the two beers I still didn't sleep worth a crap, Berlyn woke up at 3 and was just awake talking to me and then the dogs and cats got into a fight on the bed around 5 so I finally just said screw it and I am awake. Thanks again everyone!!

Fish are tougher than you think. Just as well really. Empathic maternal thoughts across the Atlantic and never, ever turn them loose with a painting set for longer than 30 seconds unsupervised. But you probably already know that one!

FW - once the talking starts you're doomed. Kipling says it all

I keep six honest serving-men
(They taught me all I knew);
Their names are What and Why and When
And How and Where and Who.
I send them over land and sea,
I send them east and west;
But after they have worked for me,
I give them all a rest.

I let them rest from nine till five,
For I am busy then,
As well as breakfast, lunch, and tea,
For they are hungry men;
But different folk have different views:
I know a person small -
She keeps ten million serving-men,
Who get no rest at all!
She sends 'em abroad on her own affairs.
From the second she opens her eyes -
One million Hows, two million Wheres,
And seven million Whys!

Thanks that made me smile and yes about the paint thing I have many a marks around the house to prove that. Yes you will regret when he learns to talk but it is so much fun at the same time. Colter is actually on a Safari hunt with his dad. They flew into Johannesburg and then are just south of there. From the website it looks like it is a really nice place that he is at. If you are interested to see it google "Cruiser Safaris" and you will see where he is at. Actually he is on or close to you alls time zone. He is 8 hours ahead of me. So I am assuming that he will be jet lagged when he gets back. Today is going a little better. The girls were good for me at work today and I was able to get a few hours of work done before they started to be a little to loud. I am sure I am jinxing myself for later today. But so far there has been no intake of beer. Then it is only 2:30 here so I still have a few hours left :)

Dreamweaver - Utak's computer was fried at home during a storm and work have blocked paizo. He will be out of action until he gets a new laptop. He didn't know when.

Female Kobold

Guys, I'm gonna be gone for a few days. NPC my character as necessary.

Not a problem, our DM doesn't come back until Friday

I'm baaaack!

The campsite was lousy, it rained all day. We decided to go and got home at midnight.

Female Kobold

Hey guys, I may not be able to reach the Paizo forums for a while. NPC my character if neccesary.

What is up with not being able to post for a while.

So here is what is going on today at my house. Our septic system has crashed and I have had to dig up the sewer line and have the plumber come and fix the leak then the drain field is backed up and now I have a 2 foot by 2 foot hole in my patio that is full of raw sewer, I have to get a new drain field put in. I figure this is a great welcome home for our DM that I need to pick up tomorrow afternoon. Yes it is always an adventure at our house...

On a side note Arwen started kindergarten today and she seemed to really like it!!

The Exchange

Yeah Arwen!

Human

Nani, you and Dreamweaver could pretty much write your own first level adventure based on the last couple of weeks.

Fish and Drains - an rp heavy adventure for Parents level 1-4

Hey - I'd buy that one.

Female Kobold

Hey guys, I'm sorry I've been gone but for some reason the paizo website was taking ages to load...I'm back now, though due to school my posting may be rather slow.

Human Cleric (Thor) 1, Hits

This is a difficult thing to say but I am going to drop out of this game. The main reason is a demanding two year old means who is changing daily and my free time is being cut as a result.

I never thought I would do this because I love this game, the characters, players and the interaction but this game is one I am going to have to do without.

Dreamweaver, thank you for the opportunity to play at your table.

Apologies
Andy

Awww, Tuon's leaving.

The apology is unnecessary. You have to put your family before your game. Goodbye, and farewell.

Dark Archive

I hate to add to such sentiment, but I too will have to leave this game. It has been fun to play with you all and to explore Creed's character in this campaign. Dreamweaver, you have a created a complex, compelling world. Keep up the creative endeavor.

Yours,

santinj@

Human

Ack. Hadn't seen either of your departures on this thread. I'm sorry and will miss you both. It's been a pleasure and an experience (a good one, I hasten to add!).

Hey everyone sorry I have been pretty absent but work and life is pretty hectic. Frenchwolf and Santinij@ sorry to see you good, I hope my temporary absence wasn't part of the reason. I had fun playing with you two and hope to see you around.

The Exchange

It wasn't DW, I dropped out of three others on the same day.

Cheers and thanks for the compliments, folks.

Female Kobold

Hey guys, sorry I forgot to tell you I'd be gone for a few days camping. I'm back now, though.

Dark Archive

Hello all, seems i may end up joining this little shindig of yours..

for the dm:

Spoiler:
Here's what i have so far:
Duneharrow

I applied racial modifiers after i bought ability scores, and i have yet to spend money. I'll get the rest finished tonight after work.

Dark Archive

Apparently i didn't linkify my character

DM:

Spoiler:

see my previous post for details, here's the link to what i have so far
Duneharrow

And now I've got a background. He should be fully fleshed out and ready to go. With DM approval of course.

Yes I was. :)

Ok it looks like I have my two new players.

I am new to this, but i've seen that people use Invisible Castle to roll dice in their pbp's, so i've got an account there now. It's bookmarked too. I've read a little of the history of the world of this campaign, just enough to know where I'm coming from, so please bear with me if i seem ignorant on some things.

male human Male Human Magus 3 | HP:27/30, AC:15, T:12, Ff:13 | F:+5. R:+3, W:+3 | CMD:16 | Perception:+3, Initiative:+2

Wasnt sure on starting money or magic item restrictions. took Mw weapon and armor, and a 1st lvl wand(cure light wounds 50 charges,1d8+1) if you need me to change anything let me know. also hope the history works for the campaign.8)

for Conner

Spoiler:
Your history looks good. I was wondering if you would want to take the half celestial template later on? It would fit for your character to start showing some divine characteristic as her matures. The wand it fine, you are going to need it.

for Duneharrow

Spoiler:
I was wondering what your character thought about his psionic talents? Does he want to know more? Does he hate them? Does he hide them or enjoy how it frightens and even angers some people.

male human Male Human Magus 3 | HP:27/30, AC:15, T:12, Ff:13 | F:+5. R:+3, W:+3 | CMD:16 | Perception:+3, Initiative:+2

Cool.... ready to roll.
Dreamweaver

Spoiler:
Not sure about the half celestial template, it just seemed like a good way to explain the class.I should be just kinda roaming around so feel free to throw me in where you want to. Conner doesnt really have any goals, just kinda follows his nose, trusting in Kord's protection. It's served him well so far....

Conner Kordson wrote:

Dreamweaver** spoiler omitted **

Its up to you. I will hopefully get you into the game in the next day or two.

Conner and Duneharrow I am adding you tonight. Here you go.

DM:

Spoiler:
He doesn't love or hate his psionic power, he sees it as an 'aide'. It helps, but there are times where it could end up being useless to him, or worse. To those that it angers or frightens, he doesn't do it intentionally. He can't prevent people from prejudices against him for what he does naturally, so there's no real reason to try and hide it from them. He is what he is, and if people don't like it, it's their problem.
On another note, he wishes that people would be a bit more 'enlightened', and just 'grow up' when it comes to that sort of prejudice. He'll help those in need, if he sees that he can, but he's not going to go on a suicide mission for anyone he doesn't consider 'family', or at least 'close friend'.

Sorry about not responding to anything. Not sure if it's appropriate to do so at the moment. I'm unsure as to what's going on at the moment. I read what's happening, but i cannot visualize it. Could someone help me out with this?

As far as i know, i'm approaching a wagon with 5 goblins. The wagon crossed a bridge, and is now has a damaged wheel.

I also have to wait to learn what i possibly heard and/or saw..

Sorry for any headaches.. this is my first actual PbP experience..

Hey i'm fairly new too.(playin in a game called the Warders of Kassel)' I think ya just need to wait for the DM. I have this urge to post all the time.(seem to be on more than others but at odd hours,I work nights.)PbP is really fun , but really...slow compared to table top.

man I miss table top games, have most of the rules but nobody seems interested in playin around here.Anyway just hang tight DW will get back to us.8)

Okay :)

Hi!

Meant to say welcome before but got a little side-tracked opening up my own game.

Speaking as a self-confessed post monster, I know the "Dang, I really want to keep saying things" feeling. I'm sure now you two are on board and things are more settled for Nani and Dreamweaver this game will move along.

Also - I feel the pain of not having any live gamers around. We finally managed to form a great group locally after many, many years so don't give up. Our local operatic society was a rich source oddly enough.

Hello and thanx for the welcome! Still keepin up hope for a group to form. I think that half of it is that I really miss my old group. There was 9 of us and we'd been playing together for around 10 years. Anyway the good news is it pushed me into trying PbP.8). Great fun.

Am i correct in assuming that Duneharrow is approaching a stopped wagon, with 5 goblins in it trying to fix the wheel? He sees nobody or nothing else, right?

Dunno didn't read your spoiler

ok. looks like you got it right. we'll find out tonight with the map and the set up.;). key word is 'sees' just cause you dont see it doesnt mean it's not there.

Heh, good thing i got graph paper. Makes it easier to mark down items on the map. Also easier to visualize. One question though, we're in a wooded area, right? just curious where the treelines were, what areas are forested and all that..

hello? anyone there? DM ?Bri? Skidds?Ver?

I dont know about anyone else, but i'm on at least once each night. I get off work, i relax, i check paizo, and i post if necessary, then go to bed. I thought this was going to be a regular thing. If someone doesn't want to continue this, at least let those of us who still do know.

The Exchange

Dreamweaver

Utak just contacted me. He is heavily involved with politics and conservation so he wanted you to know he will not be returning to our games.

Cheers

What?

Human

Very here. And on every night.

As a matter of curiosity and not wishing to push in any way, is posting likely to become more regular? It's hard to maintain character flow and interest with the long gaps.

Just checking, been over a week since most posts. I like this character and would love to continue....Plus the world seems really interesting.Anyway I'll keep checking.8)
