Sorry daughters birthday yesterday so I spent most of my time decorating a cake.

If you are alright with this lets have this be the reason Verzale is in Keepers Dale. Your adopted father was a loyal soldier for his entire time in the army rising from a lowly guard in Dragons Divide to an officer in a large battalion. He finally retired when you were 19 years old and enjoyed spending time with you wondering the Bluetip mountains. A couple of weeks ago the army came to your village collecting all the males of age to join the Gilead army. You were shocked when your father throw a bag in your arms and told you to flee into the mountains before they arrived. He kept telling you there was no time to explain but you had to leave. When you returned you found that your old house abandoned and a single name on a piece of paper, Keepers Dale.

That should keep you intrigued for a while, what do you think.

Awww to the cake decorating Dreamweaver. I make them to order from time to time and have had some bizarre requests (pigs, washing machines and coiled serpents among others). Always fun trying to fulfil dreams through cake.

Background sounds excellent. Love it. Lots of reasons to (a) keep moving and (b) explore Keeper's Dale. Where is my father now? Have I any clue at all gleaned from our years of wandering... I've got myself down as 24 which gives us 5 years of tramping the mountain regions together. Want me to change that?

Just a quick query - have I any money (and how much if so) and what if anything am I doing to earn a crust if I haven't got any money?

All your time you spent in the mountains wondering you father, Bolvie, often talked about his military life, learning to live off the land and such. He often talked about when he first joined he served under General Dameon Garrett. For the first five years of his military service Dameon was in charge of the group of soldiers patrolling the dangerous pass through Dragons Divide. Your father learned most of his fighting and survival skills from General Garrett.

When you found the note at your house you remembered your father kept a stash of money for emergencies under a loose stone on the mantle so you had about two hundred gold but you spent 150 getting supplied and to Keepers Dale. Now you have 50 gold to your name and in a new city.

I wont keep posting in this instance, because it probably needs the assistance of Bri and Creed (and Skid) to keep Tuon from cutting your wolf to pieces .... and possibly Verzale too.

Indeed. Mind you, if Dagmar gets stabbed up, Verzale will be a very unhappy bunny. Waiting to see what the other reactions are before going anywhere much with this.

Bunnies I don't mind, it's wolves that bring out the maniac in Tuon. Plus we were attacked by one not twelve hours ago. A regenerating one. You could be the enemy that is after us. God I am getting paranoid.

Dreamweaver must have laughed and laughed when he saw your companion choice, knowing the background of Tuon and Roderick.

In the long run, Dagmar could transform Tuon's outlook on wolves. But it will take time.

Of course angry third level druid bunnies are a different matter. Vicious beasties!

I have to admit that I read the game thread through first and that's partly why I gave him a wolf companion. It made a natural jumping off point. Plus, a wolf is pretty mega as a melee combatant, and with my usual rubbish dice rolling, I need all the help I can get. Pity I couldn't have a killer bunny companion, but not really in the spirit of this one. Planescape maybe.

Hey, I needed to let you know that my father has a mass in his throat and will be needing surgery and all of that fun stuff with in the next few weeks. As I am the only daughter and my parents are divorced I need to be with him during all of this. I have spent the past 48 hours freaking out and now that I have talked to the doctor and googled everything under the sun I am feeling a bit more hopeful that this will be ok. At this point in time I think we will be sent to Denver to the VA clinic there. Thank God that Dreamweaver (my hubby) bought me a laptop two weeks ago so I will be able to take it with me. So if you see me not posting so much this is why. Thanks for understanding.

We do celebrate Mother's Day but it's been and gone (sometime in March). I didn't realise it was Mother's Day for you Nani, so I hope you got strange toast, wonky flowers, very sticky cards and all the other things that warm the maternal heart. Thanks for the all the love, actually we went out on Saturday for graduation and I drank a little and we actually think I was slipped something. I have never been that out of it in my life. (I had 4 keg beers and 1 shot) Now maybe after a bottle or two of wine but not after that little bit. So needless to say I spent all Sunday in the recliner sleeping and having my hubby feed me. Hey wait a second, isn't that what every mom wants... Actually it was great not doing anything. I hope everyone else had a great mothers day.

Hey Utak, where do you reside again. I am going to New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine and Boston in August. The hubby will be with the girls but if you are around any of those let me know and maybe we could do a beer or something.

Glad to hear you had a relaxing Mother's Day. Even if it was under some possibly sneaky circumstances. Or maybe you just turned into a lightweight. Hey, it happens to the best of us. Heck, I just look at a beer, and I am hungover the next day.

So what brings you to the Northeast? I am in Pennsylvania in a little place that we folk like to call the Lehigh Valley. I am about 1.5 hours away from Manhattan. If the timing is right, it would be awsome to meet you and grab a drink. You could meet the missus, we could talk RPing and PbP, and she could roll her eyes at both of us. :)

Is Scardd the only one visible, with everyone else hidden in the wagon? Is the plan to wait and be ambushed then counterstrike or are we taking any other measures.

I know that Roderick is NPC’d, but if we use his Rangerly skills to shadow us from off of the trail, it would make sense from a tactical standpoint.

It has been a long time, in Real Time, since we actually planned this, with all of that shopping and all. Dammit, did Scardd pick up some shoes? :)

Any other thoughts?
