A word about map lighting:
Dynamic lighting is active so you see what your character can. Unfortunately, I could not put a global superdim lighting on it so we could just see silhouettes, so it's either normal (around torches) or dim (20'-40' from torches + faerie fire).
We have 2 tokens unassigned to users. I'm not sure what you will see when you log on. I unassigned my token and tried it and could see quite a lot. If you have a completely black screen, post here and I'll try to fix it.
I have to check the stats, one of the reasons I chose Squeaky is beacuse I think he DOES have flyby,... or the equivalent,...
Looking,...
Nope, he has SUDDEN SWOOP, which means he does NOT draw an AoO when delivering a touch attack for me, but not flyby, so you are correct.
As usual. ;P
I been busy,... but I WILL add 'making a roll20 account' to my list so I can get in there and move my own stuff around. :P
Thanks btw Treppa for helping DM out with the mappy stuff!
:)
Woot, we in fer sum REAL melee action now! ;P
Ding-dang no-fair cheating nightseers.
Time for Merlan to call in some backup for Fiona, I think,... ;)

It's going to be a round or two before I can get there. I can pencil you in for Wednesday at 3, if I'm still alive.

To be fair, given the Thunderstone's range of 20', I rather assumed Squeaky would be up about 39' - one increment isn't so bad when you're aiming at an immobile object, and the Orcs aren't too likely to be looking 40 feet in the sky when there's giant warrior threatening them.
GM: Sahar is at +2 luck (Divine favour + Fate's Favoured trait)
Since the hit was with a pilum, I lose my buckler's bonus to AC until I take an action to pry out the pilum head, correct? I haven't seen these in-game before.
Lastwall Heroes - Current Date: Toilday, 31 Desnus, 4711 AR | Shadowrun - Current Date: Saturday, March 13, 2060
Sorry, yes, +2.
And no, you're not in that condition - at the time you were hit with the pilum you had fired your bow and were therefore not using a shield.

Yeah, I figured he just drop it and keep flapping. With its 'bang' area he didnt even have to have that great of an aim. ;P

Like enlarge, summon monster is a 1-round casting time -- so you use your full round action now, vaguely keep chanting and dancing until the start of your next turn when the puppy appears right before you get to take your round 3 action.
Also, I don't think you need the charm of making. You're not summoning The Dragon.
If you have any interest, I kind of went down the rabbit hole researching horse archer traditions. There wasn't much about the Arabic traditions in particular, but quite a lot has been written and filmed about Parthian and Scythian tradition.
I found this video of an equestrian explaning how horse archers were equipped and how they drew arrows, which I found fascinating. Since Sahar is from that tradition of horse archer skirmishers, I decided her bow scabbard and quiver would be on her left hip, like the Parthians and Scythians. So she draws arrows from the quiver with her bow hand and nocks them with her right.
Some of the horse skirmishers fought with bow, sword, and spear from both horseback and afoot. They held the spear under their right leg when not in use. It looks pretty crazy. They weren't triple threats, they were sextuple threats.

Hey! I work with what I got! ;P
OK, So 'puppy' appears when the rules actually say, I go with the flow baby! :) (And tbh, there has always been a lot of confusion and house ruling on the 1round casting time actual happenstance,. At least in my world.) :)

Yup. And you can put him anywhere within 30' of you - but on the plus side, if he pops in next to someone, he can try to gnaw on them immediately.

Internet is down today, so I'm unable to view Roll20. It was supposed to be back up by now...
Assuming that I know where Fiona is and remember the map layout near her, would someone be so kind as to describe enlarged-Venak's position relative to Fiona?
Lastwall Heroes - Current Date: Toilday, 31 Desnus, 4711 AR | Shadowrun - Current Date: Saturday, March 13, 2060
He's directly north of Xia, but enlarged to the west -- so basically, you've got a corner of him that's two squares north of you and one to the west.
One square up and one square to the left, with Xia (invisible) smack inbetween the two.

Did the now enlarged orcs move? I thought that Enlarge Person was a 1-round action, even from a potion. If so and they moved (I think that at least one did), they should loose part of their next round actions.

Drinking a potion or using an oil is a standard action. The potion or oil takes effect immediately.
Scrolls, on the other hand... that's a different kettle of pickled spell components.
Also, incidentally, this is one of the perks of playing an alchemist, since extracts do the same.

S'ok. Technically you'd be at -4 for firing into melee, so you actually missed even more than you thought. ;)
oh yeah, but I figgered that (maybe) his extra size would make up for some of that. Ah well, theres always NEXT round! ;P

Apologies for the not moving my tokens, but I wanted to make sure it's legal - rather than doing it, just in case.
Anyway now to act, might need some multi-attack help :P

No worries, DSX. It's my fault for missing it - and, as I said, I figured it was easier to give you a second giant orc than a greataxe wound.

If I attack with 2 claws, is it a -5 due to natural weapon?
And can you use finesse with natural weapons?
Lastwall Heroes - Current Date: Toilday, 31 Desnus, 4711 AR | Shadowrun - Current Date: Saturday, March 13, 2060
Natural weapons are finessable, and if you're only using claws, they're primary attacks - so no -5 penalty
It's a good day to die!

Yeah, hopefully you'll have reinforcements and healing headed your way soon. Don't let the kitty eat the reinforcements.
Is anyone else having trouble with "Application backtracked too far" when editing posts? I've ended up deleting a few and starting over because of repeated errors, even after closing the Paizo tab and reopening. (In FF)
Lastwall Heroes - Current Date: Toilday, 31 Desnus, 4711 AR | Shadowrun - Current Date: Saturday, March 13, 2060
I get it sometimes, but usually if I back, then re-edit, it works the second time.
Usually.

It seems to be random. I often forget, but usually try to copy all the text before hitting post on long posts, so that I do not lose everything. It has been doing this for years.
I've found when I hit the back browser key, it shows me my changed text so I can grab it again, at least. Then I close everything, reopen, and retry the post.
When I used Chrome, I remember getting Lazarus for this problem years ago, but it seemed pmg had it fixed at one point. I didn't know if this was because I switched to Firefox or if the site was giving everyone fits. I checked the website problem reports, but I guess everyone has given up and just endures it now.
Thanks!
It happens to me every other day or so, but NOW at least you can just backtrack as you said. used to you lost everything.:P
It happens to me every other post or so, which is why I was wondering if it was Firefox or the site. But yeah, it's nice not to completely lose it. I really don't want to switch back to Chrome.

I have found it's been a little more common recently - but then, I've been editing posts more often than usual for some reason that I can't quite place.
Also: Rags -> summoned creatures attack the nearest enemy - so when orange went away, that would be Thrukk, resulting in what happened in the gameplay thread. (You can only direct [give instructions] to creatures you can communicate with - and dogs aren't so language-y [and the Celestial template doesn't make 'em able to talk in PF])
Rags, is Squeaky with Merlan? Because on the map, he's hanging out next to Thrukk.
You should be able to move Squeaky's token and put him on your ginormous hat if you like. If he wants to distract Thrukk, that's good with Sahar.
Lastwall Heroes - Current Date: Toilday, 31 Desnus, 4711 AR | Shadowrun - Current Date: Saturday, March 13, 2060
I'm also finding that the boards themselves seem a lot more laggy about opening threads.
Yes, I also noticed the slowness and more often-ness of the 'you have exceeded' events.
Nice to know its not just me?
Bad to know its that common? ;P
Treppa, somehow the (main?) LIGHT source is connected to Squeaky, when I try to move him, the screen goes dark because of ambient lighting shenanigans. He should be hanging out on Merlan's hat. For now. ;)
Lastwall Heroes - Current Date: Toilday, 31 Desnus, 4711 AR | Shadowrun - Current Date: Saturday, March 13, 2060
Slowness also seems to apply to posts. I'll post something and need to refresh the thread - sometimes a few times - before what I just added shows up.
Would everyone be able to spend maybe 60-90 minutes on Roll20 for combats? They'd go much faster in "real time" than in pbp. I think everyone but Braniac and Ragadolf was in chat and thought they might be able to do that.
Wouldn't be a standing game, just scheduled when needed.
And how do I set up a vote on this thing...?
