Advance your character with the Advanced Player's Guide Character Sheet Pack! Track your hero's statistics and accomplishments with these full-color character sheets designed to include exactly what your character needs! This product comes in a sturdy folder to store character sheets, with reference information such as game actions, a summary of crucial conditions, and death and dying rules. Inside are 16 sheets for characters and campaign tracking. These include specialized character sheets for each of the four classes from the Advanced Player's Guide, with class features and special actions already filled in! Plus you'll find sheets for the evil champions and for oracle spells and curses from that book. Furthermore, there are three standard blank sheets suitable for characters of any class, an alternate sheet with a simplified design, and expanded sheets to track character inventory, campaign notes, adventure logs, NPCs, spells, animal companions, and alchemy books.
This is mostly about the PDF version, which is what I got. I don't know if the physical version is a bound book (which would also be worthless and qualify for only 1 star) or a collection of papers which could earn it another star -- at least if the errors are corrected from over 2 years ago).
The PDF version is going to be targeted by people who want to print when needed instead of trekking to a copy center and trying to guess how many copies to make. As such, the PDF is a colossal failure. I saw a lot of comments about the PDFs not being fillable, and I see how that would be handy, it isn't necessary for The Purpose of Printing. There are two major issues that will prevent me from ever using this product.
1) Page placement. The pages should be placed/spaced so that related pages will print back-to-back. For example, the front cover of the product should not be on the reverse side of the front page of the generic character sheet. There should have been a blank page or informational page inserted into the PDF. That way, I won't end up with Alchemist feats on the back of a Barbarian character sheet.
2) Color. Ok, I'm tech savay, and I have the tools to add dummy pages where I need to, to correct for problem number one but I won't because the sheets are in color -- lots of color, and lots of color equals a lot of expensive ink. Even if you set your printer to only print in black and white, all those colored boxes will still mean a lot of black ink. While black is usually cheaper than color, ink is still not cheap.
I'm a fan of the character sheet pack Paizo published for the base classes, and this package gives you the same convenience for the new classes in the Advanced Player's Guide. The package contains a specialized character sheet for each class, with some of the boxes pre-filled based on class proficiencies, feats, and other traits. It may not sound like a big step up from the free blank character sheets, but I've enjoyed using these. The class icon at the top of each sheet is a nice piece of visual coding so you can pick your character sheet out of a stack, and the pre-filled information takes out some of the confusion when you're new to a class. Or new to the game--it's especially helpful for new players. I recommend getting the pdf version, so you can print off sheets whenever you need them.
The main place I see room for improvement is in the organization of the contents: The package includes general-purpose pages for things like inventory and campaign notes, and it's not obvious where one 'chunk' of pages begins and ends. Section headings to label the class-specific sheets apart from the general ones might have helped. I'd also prefer it if there was a more printer-friendly black and white version of the whole package. But the color layouts look good (just like the sheets in the core rulebook,) and prints from my laser printer are perfectly usable.
Pick it up! Your players/characters will thank you.

Heads up Paizo - The PDF is missing the cover art!
Hey folks, sorry for the mixup! The PDF should be available now, but it is still missing the covers. The folks who fix it are gone for the day, but we should be able to get it fixed tomorrow. If you download it in the meantime, you'll get the new version automatically when it's updated. Thanks for your understanding!
Thanks for your patience, folks! The PDF has been updated. If you're still getting the old version, try refreshing your downloads and attempting the download again. I'll be sending out notification emails in just a moment.
Same here. I got it to refresh to the new larger size of 7.63 MB on the "My Downloads" page, but when I take the final step of downloading it, I get the older, smaller file (6.8 MB in size). And I tried all of the usual methods to fix it -- clicking on the "Problem downloading this file?" link, going to the "My Downloads" page in incognito mode, and clearing my browsing history. None of these methods get me the updated file.
Also, if you sent out the e-mail about the updated file, I didn't get it -- and I certainly know better than to block "paizo.com" in my e-mail program -- and I do have the box for notifications about updates checked. It has been several months since I have been notified about any updates to my downloaded files, even though many of them have been updated during that time.
I also tried logging out and back in as well as attempting to download the file from a different computer, both to no avail -- so that would seem to narrow down the problem to either your site or my account.
Those of you who were unable to obtain the updated file likely had the old version caught in our content delivery network. I've cleared all caches for downloads of the file in question, and have shortened the the cache time for files going forward so this should be much less of an issue going forward.
I tried downloading your copy of the file, and confirmed that it's coming through as a 7.63 MB zip containing the updated PDF with the cover page. To the point where Paizo releases the file, everything seems should be updated, so it seems likely the problem lies somewhere between our servers and your computer.
Sometimes ISPs will maintain their own caches, though generally these caches are configured to be fairly short. I would continue trying occasionally. Please let us know if you haven't been successful within 24 hours.
I couldn't find a quick way to mail this in and wanted it to be available first thing Monday morning.
When I pulled the download it has generic character sheets where I would expect to see specific sheets for the new classes like the initial character sheet pack. However, the covers do appear to be there.
The corrected PDF has a total of 36 pages, with the sheets for the new classes near the end. On the first page for each class, you can see the class name in a circle near the top of the page.
Will these ever be made form-fillable? The copies I got through the Humble Bundle were disappointingly not. And with handwriting like mine, being able to type into them is really a godsend so I can accurately read them a few months down the road.
And TBH, the state of the RPG industry these days, nobody should be selling PDF character sheets which aren't form fillable especially at these price points.

From memory, last time this was asked, they said they couldn't sell form-fillable PDFs through this store because it's incompatible with the process they use to watermark the PDFs with our emails.
Also, Paizo people don't get notified when someone post in these threads, and there's too many to monitor continuously, so if you have comments or questions, you should send an email to them (either the CS email or the store email in the "Contact Us" page).

Possibly a related question, but are there plans to have class specific sheets for Magus and Summoner (Secrets of Magic), Gunslinger and Inventor (Guns and Gears), Psychic and Thaumaturge (Dark Archive) and even the forthcoming Kineticist (Rage of Elements)?
