Announced for June January! Product image and description are not final and may be subject to change.

Edit: Sorry folks, copy/paste error. The spell cards are due out in January.

This will be a welcome addition! How big will they be?

I assume these will be for second edition. Any chance you'll make some for first edition?

Less than 0 I'd say.

1) They're making P2 now, not P1.

2) There's a LOT more than 200 Arcane spells in P1.

Fwiw, the product description shows them due in January.

So there are over 200 arcane & occult spells each, but only over 150 divine, focus & primal spells each?

Does anybody have the exact numbers?

January 2020 is the right date for all cove spell & focus cards sets! :-)

I feel obligated to point out that Everybody Games has a series of Feat Cards being rolled out class by class.

This is going to play Hell with my wallet come January. A hundred bucks for spell cards, plus the pawn box and battle cards that just got moved to January, plus the sub stuff I was already getting. Sheesh!

Primal lists 175.

Update: This product has been pushed from a January to a February release.

YAS! A very requested product!

Alright, now that it is closer, and officially pushed to Feb I have all of these in my side cart.... my wallet will hate me the next few months

Dark Archive

I have bought every Second Edition product so far, but i am not yet sure that we will switch from 1st edition (we probably won't play 2e again in 2020, as we are having a blast with the Curse of the Crimson Throne hardcover collection and will begin chapter 3 in january).

So i probably won't buy all of these spell card packs, maybe none for $30 a pop.

I will however buy the Pathfinder Bestiary Battles Cards and probably the Adventuring Equipment cards.

Dark Archive

There are 233 Arcane spells in the CRB, 430 spells total (focus spells excluded).

Any likelihood of getting a picture of what the cards actually look like?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, folks, but it looks like all of the spell cards have been pushed back. We are now expecting them to be a May release.

You know, as much as I want these in hand, pushing them back works for my wallet. That being said, please don't let these land in the same month as a Battles shipment lol

Thanks for the update Katina

IF there will be a Pathfinder Battles set #18 in the first half of 2020, the propability of it coming out in may is 90%.

That being said, i wouldn't have bought these cards in january or february anyway, as we are not switching to Second Edition in 2020.

I think it is better for these cards to come out later in Second Editions lifecycle, as people have more time to dig deeper into it.

I've found gambling that things I want will be around later is a gamble I often lose, and then pay more on ebay later.

PF1 I spent a bit of time making custom spell and ability cards for my kids using the Card Game templates as a basis. It is very time consuming. We havent started up Age of Ashes but we are close, wanting a few of these trinkets in hand to help my younger players with visual accessories to aid in play :D

I really hope that each card has an image of the spell on one side.

Although that would be cool, i doubt it.

When i look at the D&D spell cards, they have only text on them.

Also art would cost a lot more than just text.

Grand Lodge

how are the critical hit and fumble cards in the accessories subscription and these aren't?

Pathfinder LO Special Edition, Maps, Pathfinder Accessories, PF Special Edition Subscriber; Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber; Starfinder Superscriber

It's magic. :)

Grand Lodge

Will be a great addition to my table. Any Chance we will get booster packs for spells out of other books? :)

Grand Lodge

Also wondering why this was not part if the Pathfinder Accessories subscription?

Pathfinder Maps, Pathfinder Accessories Subscriber; Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Charter Superscriber; Starfinder Charter Superscriber

Because making the subscribers buy five sets of cards at once at $30 each might not go over so well with everyone.

Well, after seeing the Gear/Weapons and Monster cards all having art?

I am having higher hopes that we will get some tasty art on these too... Man the cards we've already got have looked fantastic.

Dark Archive

While these cards look good, why are some cards like "enthrall" "continued on back" and others like elemental form refer to the spell in the CRB?

I kind of understand the first (too much text), but the second defeats the purpose of these cards.

If there is a massive amount of text neccessary, just print a card that's double the width or print it on two cards.

Agreed, make extra cards in the future. However I really just want these in hand at the moment and may just make my own cards for those references in the mean time.

Yes, "Pathfinder Battles: City of Lost Omens" is currently scheduled for a june 24th release.

That could still change to a july release though.
And these cards have been moved as often as Marvel's "The New Mutants", so that could still change too. ;-p

A little more than a month. I hope that these do not get moved again

I like my name and email on every product. and i like pdf and I need cardboard. Me and my mom used to play teams like pick a token and go by it's challenge rating and make groups up to a point total. Yes having cards would be net but are you going for all tactics we might go for?

Dark Archive

I preordered these and just got my shipping notice. When will the pdf become available for download?

Hey there! The preorder only includes the download if you have a Pathfinder Accessories subscription. If you just preordered the deck with no subscription, the PDF is a separate purchase. If you think there may have been an error, please contact our Customer Service team and they'll be happy to help you. Thanks!
