Theres so much flavor and interesting mechanics packed into this CD. I've got every single one of them and this one, with only 4-1 from OP completed, has given me the best choices at improving my deck. I actually have to consider which cards to add and how they will be useful in the future with every ally being new. Thats right. Every ally in this deck is brand new. And have some pretty cool mechanics.
While some choices in the deck are easier, obviously Celeste has no use for cards that help weapons, there are still a fair amount of this or that instead of the "this because that is garbage for this character" from other class decks. There's been a trend towards cards being good but even better for certain characters over the older very narrow cards that helped only a single character.
Looking forward to the next deck if this one is any indication on why it was totally worth waiting months for a new deck!
One of the things I liked the most about this deck is that there seem to be very few filler cards. All the class decks have a few cards that are necessary but boring, and this one had very few. The cards generaly have a good thematic feel and though they do not seem over powered i think they will be interesting to play with.
They have done a particularly good job with the allies. Different groups of allies have a good synergy between them that means you will want to keep them together even after some more powerful allies become available. That is particularly good for allies as they are thematically just the sort of thing your adventurer will not want to dispose of.
I hope the character decks continue in this vein, with interesting and playable characters using some unique mechanics.

To people looking to pick this up simply for the character art, I'd highly recommend giving the card game a try as well. Specifically, look to see if there's any Pathfinder Society Adventure Card Guild organized play games in your area, because it's a lot lower cost to entry -- in fact by buying this deck you literally have purchased everything you need in order to join an organized play game as one of the 3 characters included in the deck!
My son wanted the original set (RotR, IIRC?) and I had reservations about it as I tend to be a 'purist'. The RPG only! However, I gave it a try and my sons and I really like it. I can get my brother to play this, but he doesn't think he has the time to do the RPG.
What does that have to do with this deck? Um, I don't know. Just putting in my .02 for the game itself, I guess.
