First case, Legendary Battles

Pros:
Prepainted miniatures, a ton of them. I got one case and now have enough goblins, kobolds, hobgoblins, bugbears and orcs to have a roving band for each.
The art is good for the most part. There's some flaws, especially around the faces, but the flaws are acceptable, and better than I'd do.
The price is good (though still high). Providing you're in the subscription (maybe save up coupons, too, I did get the holiday discount).
There's good guys, too. Elven rangers, dwarven rogues, halfling slingers, gnome sorcerers. They're really overwhelmed by the baddies but that's how most games are going to be (I imagine?).

Cons:
It's a ton of miniatures (128, with 32 large or huge ones). You're going to need some space.
The booster aspect. There's some rares and maybe even uncommons you may simply not get. Salt is rubbed in the wound when you end up with like 4 yetis (or another monster you do not need).

All in all, I like it, recommend it, for those who need it. Check the lists in the Product Discussion, or on WizKids, to see what's going to be showing up. If you want them, and have the money, pull the trigger. It's a good get.

Women are Cool!

In this day and age where it still feels like the gaming world is dominated by men, it's so refreshing to see a game publisher be more inclusive of women. I applaud the production of more female characters giving both men and women more options to choose from. I feel truly sorry for any individual who feels that a game suffers from the inclusion of more female characters.

Unbeatable Price, but not a Bargain

I'm a Subscriber and my second Case is on the way. If you intend to collect the Miniatures or play with them in your adventure Path the subscribtion is the best choice for you if following points seem to fit to you:
1. You have the Money to Spend 1000$ or a little more a year because you have to have in mind that there are 3 to 4 Cases coming out a year.
2. Getting Most of the Miniatures of a Set to below standard prices. Ordering a full case does not guarantee you to get all Miniatures to a set (though i have been lucky concearning that)
3. If you live in Germany....hell yeah ( A Case here costs roughly 700$ that is without the Premium)

After i got my first Case from the Toll collectors i can only advocate the Case Subscription if you are determined to get more than one Case just for fun.

If you are living in the USA, $279.99 (plus shipping) for a sealed case as a subscriber on paizo.com is still the best deal that you can get.

If you live somewhere else, your local FLGS or online shops are the best option.

Here in Germany, i pre-order bricks (and in the past cases) from my FLGS, which has the benefit that i don't have to pay shipping costs, but i only get a small discount on the SRP.
Same was the case for case incentives.

With the later being a thing of the past, prices for "premium sets" will go down, as there is no limit on ordering them, but paying only 70% of the SRP ist still a good deal, although you can sometimes get comparable prices online if you pre-order early enough.

Ok; beyond confused. I just subscribed to this last month; and started with the Legendary Adventures Case.

I paid $423 total; it was $279 for the case, the Goblin Village was $63, and an obscene $90 in shipping.

This month, I got the City of Lost Omens case... thats it, no add ons, and paid $358 along with $35 in shipping.

Did I over pay this month, underpay last month, or what?

The next Pathfinder Battles set #23) coming out in july 2023 is called "Fists of the Ruby Phoenix" and is compromised out of four boxed sets and a premium miniature of the boss fight enemy, 27 minis all in all.

Included are (numbers from the pawn set, the minis will be unnumbered):

It will. But it looks like it's only 18 minis. So I'm uncertain if Paizo will be shipping collated bricks, or a collated case with way more dupes than normal. Or maybe there are more in this set that haven't been announced on the Wizkids site.

We received some at GenCon, but had not received any at our warehouse as of last week.

With Wizkids changing up the distribution of Fearsome forces and making changes to the schedule I am wondering what that means for the subscription line and if we could get an update?

Looks like Fearsome Forces has been bumped to September, the configuration for a case changed from 2 display sets to 4.

Next in the Sub line when it comes to sets looks like Armies of the Dead in June? Is that correct?

My real question is if the Gods of Lost Omens or the Iconic Heroes IX are going to be in the subscription line or if we are going to be able to pre order them? Wizkids says that they are being released in January but haven't heard anything about them here yet?

So trying to unwind my general confusion about the state of the Battles subscription. Are both Fearsome Forces and Armies of the Dead back to shipping automatically as part of the subscription?

I'm assuming the only things I have to order manually for these are the Death Coach, Gholdaku, and Yamaraj figures. Is that right?

Armies of the dead is only listed as a Brick at the moment and the brick is under Iconics and Special Releases.

Is this meant to be a part of the subscription line?

I pre ordered the Death Coach, Gholdaku and Yamaraj, yes we have to do those separately. But I would like to know about the Case/Battles situation as well. Thanks for bringing it up

We do not currently have news on this one, but it's on the radar, and I'll post here when I have an update!
