Welcome to 1-22 The Protectorate Petition written by Mike Kimmel
Scenario Tags: None - Levels 1-4
The alien copaxis have long inhabited their world in Near Space but only recently petitioned the Pact Wolds for protectorate status. Sent as part of a delegation to review the petition's virtues and validity, the PCs must explore the ancient copaxi ruins and learn about this applicant species' history. Will the PCs decide to vouch for the copaxis, or will the PCs discover something that casts the copaxis' petition into doubt?

Tolmu |
I don't see the need for 3 technomancers, so I'll play this guy.
The usual:
Player Name: philipjcormier
Character Name: Tolmu
SFS#: 55792-702
Faction: Wayfinders
Day job: Profession(counselor): 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20
Any other information needed, please feel free to ask and/or examine character sheet.
GM SFS |
Hello all, thanks for the interest (and signing up), and I hope to not let you down, and that we have fun (plus some holiday cheer & spirit!).
We thus have 2 technomancers (lvls 2 & 3), a mystic (lvl 1), an envoy (lvl 2), and then:
• a solarian or a blitz soldier (lvls 1 for both)
• an envoy or a solarian (lvls 2 for both)
Choose whatever combo' you want (having wo solarians or two envoys can work fine, so feel free to go with what you want).
Our average level is 1.83 (going from 1 to 3) so we are in Tier 1-2 w. 6 players.
@Pete H. (and any others w. their -701): I imagine you are aware of the Welcome to Starfinder boon, but, if not, the PbP GM Kit link in my signature-line can lead you to it (file number 13).
For all: the Sideshow slideshow link way up on the top to the left leads to the Google Slides where you can put in your info' on page 2 (SFS data, perception & init' bonuses) and your mini on page 3 (the marching order can be determined later, in game, if needed).
You can go Dot the Gameplay thread.
I imagine you all are at least somewhat (if not super-)experienced with PbP, but, please, if anyone needs more info' or help as to how to do anything, please ask.
As I said, I aim for 1/post a day. Just warn if your away for a bit, and no problem about skipping some around XMas & New Year's, but I will bot people if the absence gets a bit long... just to keep the game flowing and not have people getting bored.
Hoping we all enjoy this adventure!
@Speck Ha ha! For about two seconds, I read "Faction: Second Seekers (LE)" as LE = Lawful Evil !!!
Hef Sadir |

Oh wow, I guess it shows how much I haven't paid attention to my 2nd PC. Honestly, I haven't even played him yet as he's a bonus credit baby (starts at level 2 with the scoured stars boon and has a skittermander pregen credit added as well).
So... long story short, he's a mystic not a solarian. :P
Anyway, it appears that regardless who I bring I'll be doubling up on another class (which I doubt is any sort of issue). Thus, unless someone has a great argument I'll bring my mystic.
Player Name: Pete H.
Character Name: Hef Sadir
SFS#: 123584-702
Faction: Exo-Guardians
Day Job: None
Rastar |

Question for Rastar: you have +1 Init' w. 17 Dex'?
And you said "Blitz", but you actually are "Hit and Run"?
Look, don't try and clear things up. I want to be mysterious and such.
Nah, I was winging it on the Blitz thing. Rastar is very much a hit and run guy. And I'll fix the character stat block.
Hef Sadir |

I want to be mysterious and such.
A dark cloaked figure enters the bar. Eyes of coal and a stare that peels back layers until it sees your soul. Ladies swooning as he passes, his indifference acting as an aphrodisiac. And just as if he were never there, he is gone...
Who was this mysterious stranger you saw for just a glimpse? What is his story and how can you be more like him? One may never know, but what we do know is that he'll never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you, never gonna make you cry, never gonna say goodbye and never gonna tell a lie and hurt you.
GM SFS |
@Tolmu: No problem, just change your character if you want.
Play what is fun for you.
Nothing so important going on yet that you can't.
New rule: when you land, whoever exits is who you'll play for the rest of the game, so you have a little bit left to choose.
If you do, just give us a little description of who you've changed to and we'll say that that's the one that was there since the briefing.
@Laniakea: Happy to see the useful part of the Steward from the get-go! (I've been planning to make a Steward, so this urges me to do so now! (will probably go for the Steward Infiltrator since they just went legal it seems).
Alzandre Dufau |
Player Name: philipjcormier
Character Name: Alzandre Dufau
SFS#: 55792-701
Faction: Wayfinders
Day job: profession(archaeologist): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
This is my Technomancer. I changed the information on the slide, but the day job gold will need to be adjusted, and Tolmu be removed from the active player list.
Alzandre has the Welcome to Starfinder Boon.
GM SFS |
Fine! Thanks for filling out the slide info' (I changed Day Job Credits - no gold here, only virtual credits on a cred' stick).
To all: for the minis, I have (from left to right)
Numina6 - correct? (1st from left)
Alzandre Dufau (2nd from left)
Speck Zezener (3rd from left)
Hef Sadir - correct? (4th from left)
Laniakea - correct? (5th from left)
so the one that was missing was:
Rastar- correct? (that I added as 6th from left)
I have no idea how to remove Tolmu from the active player list... (is that important?)
GM SFS |
Okay, thanks! I had never scrolled down in the campaign settings.
Tolmu is removed... back into cyber oblivion, poor chap!
Thanks for the answers re. the minis
To all: for the minis, I have (from left to right)
Numina6 (1st from left)
Alzandre Dufau (2nd from left)
Speck Zezener (3rd from left)
Laniakea - correct? (5th from left, with the goggles)
Hef Sadir (5th from left)
Rastar (that I added as 6th from left)
Yes, the far right is the front of the group (arrow means where you are walking towards)
But this is just a general thing in case of need, I'll let you place yourselves when important.
