Rastar was a typical kasatha in appearance, with skin tending towards the blue-grey side. The custom trench coat he wore had all kinds of pockets for the tools of his trade, slit appropriately for him to quick draw a pair of pistols or his assault hammer. As custom with his people, he kept the lower part of his face covered with a kideche cloth that had been blessed by the fountain rites of kolruthi, and which he never removed in the presence of non-kasatha. He had tried to pull off a bolero hat for a time, but decided it looked ridiculous on his elongated head.

Kasatha are known to be ambidextrous. Very vew of them are quad-dextrous. Rastar alwys thought he made the very few look clumsy. It wasn't that he was just able to write the Kasathan cuniform with four independent entries, or that he could paint with all four hands. Rastar could shoot! It was the one thing that he felt set him apart from his ancestors and family grouping, and it was his secret shame. Because how could any Kasatha, steeped in family and tradition, take such pride in stepping out away from the others? But he did it just the same. Rastar left the Idaria in search of fame, glory, and maybe a little money. He found that his skills were well suited to the life of a bounty hunter, and he almost always managed to bring his target in with a little help. He wasn't the best with computers or with talking to people, but put him in a room or dark alley with his mark, and that person was coming in, dead or alive. It was on a job for the Caltex Ysoki clan on Absalom Station that Rastar first ran into a group of Starfinders, who happened to be looking for his mark. The kasathan teamed up with them and enjoyed the experience so much, that he presented himself at the Lorespire as a possible recruit the very next day.
