Before these were updated, they were nice, but not really complete. But now, geez, there's everything you could want for RRR. The whole set is wonderfully drawn, but my group found the owlbear cub a complete winner.
The paper minis for KM #2 have been updated to offer all the monsters for this AP as do the other sets.
The new pdf is 14 pages including the front cover for a mere $6.
The artwork (cute owlbear cub!) and coloring is great. Especially the swarms and the plants are superb.
I am very happy with this set, as the paper minis are offering a real boon to my game and my players - as well as me - do like them a lot.
I love this one so much. The trolls alone are worth the price, but heck toss the owl bear in and just solid gold. An amazing set of paper mini's I love crystal design
This has I think 5 pages of mini's! It is great every one is better and better. I can not wait for the next one! If you are running RRR get this! OR if you need some trolls or Lizard men it is great!
Rest assured I will be purchasing this set in the next couple of weeks. I loved Crystal's work on set Stolen Lands and I'm sure that Rivers Run Red is just as high-quality!
These are getting better and better Crystal, great work! Love the trolls, love the owlbear (he is kind of cute, maybe apart from the bloodstains), love the old Beldame and her vegetable-headed minion. The multitude of women with cleavers through me for a loop I must admit, though on further reflection I suppose they must be
Spoiler:
cultists of Gyronna?
Is Grigori in there? I didn’t see him (but then I guess he is potentially a non-combat encounter).
The minis are great. But I think the Owlbear is a bit too big. When I printed the page out, the base takes a space of 20', while in the adventure the owlbear is written as occupying only 15'...
But anyway - it looks pretty threatening on my battlemap!
Yes, I am with Kevida. I am not sure why it takes so long to produce these minis. It seems that the art work for some of these would be in the modules themselves.
However, even if they have to be drawn it would seem that a month is long enough to produce them, and I hope Pazio would trust these artists to let them see the product ahead of time. Surely something could be worked out.
I would buy a set of these for every module Pazio produces. The market must be huge, and I believe that most players don't know about the exceptional quality of these products. Pazio should incorporate these into their pdf versions or even the printed modules. I would pay an extra $5 for modules with these included.

Just to clarify, the minis are not produced by Paizo, but are drawn by artists after the adventures come out. And were originally "fan art" which the community encouraged the artists to make available for purchase.

I am not trying to be negative to these guys! It's just that they have me hooked on these things like crck and I am needing a "fix"! :-)
Oh!
Wonderful. I love them.
But.. (There is always a "but") Are you planing to release the whole adventure path? I wouldn't like to use them in the first two books and later, change the pictured stile to my players...
I'll bouy them all. I can swear it.
These are great. I am just starting up my campaign I hope that the other modules will get notice as well as they would be a great addition to the first two I have bought. Again great work and i sure hope there are more coming.
Enjoying these quite a bit. My one minor quibble is that the Lizard King (the lizardfolk with the trident) should be large size, rather than medium. Nothing I can't fix by resizing it before printing, but it would be nice if it came that way.
Need more! Is Crystal still busy with her other chores? Need more!

Who are the four humans on the first page rigt under the Old Beldame and scarecrow?
Good question, I asked myself the same for #1 and #2.
I decided them to be Oleg (or Jhod), Svetlana, Lily Teskertin (from #2) and a random member of the Initiative for equal Heights (or U-be-lost from #2) for #1
and
for #2: the guy in blue is Grigori, the guy in green is Corax the logger, for the other two - no idea.
Although the "halfling" from #1 and the lady from #2 fit perfectly for the module Falcon Hollow, which I ran as a prequel.
Any idea if there are going to do anymore Paper mini's for the Kingmaker path? My group just started the 1st book in this path, and paper mini's are awsome! would love to see them for 3rd book and on!

There are certainly plans, but my artist for this set is very very busy. I'll have to bribe her with cookies and brownies. Or maybe some fancy gin.
I just finished RRR and my PCs were super impressed by the Giant Owlbear mini, but I'd like to see the Varnhold Vanishing PDF as I'm due to start that adventure very soon :)
it has been over a year since river runs red, any plans on making the next part?
I can't remember where I read it, but I believe about three weeks ago Crystal posted that Paper Minis were on an indefinite hiatus for some reason or another. They still plan to make more, but other projects are keeping them too busy to roll out new ones for the foreseeable future.

Whoa! Let's clear up a few misconceptions first of all.
The Pathfinder Paper Minis line is back (and better than ever). Crystal is currently updating the Kingmaker sets, but pugwampis got a hold of her computer (and we know what those little blighters can do). I think they may have stolen the gin supply as well. The Kingmaker paper minis sets may certainly be delayed (as is Legacy of Fire), and it is a long delay, to be sure.
But they are far from dead, and I am always looking for new artists. I'll have two new sets by the end of the month as well, Serpent's Skull part two and an unannounced one that I can't wait to show off. :D
