Same as Ton, only just seeing all this now. I wanted to post how I felt Wulf would react to it all before reading this.

I can see it from both points of view. As I said in the game, the undead is only for this place I won't tell people what to do but I wouldn't want that walking into torch with us.

I've played wulf as losing his edge a bit in torch, but now outside he starting to sharpen up a bit and this undead while he isn't happy may just be an extream they need. He is still thinking about Val and what she would think if she saw this.

I also think we can get some good ingame RP out of this. I don't want anyone to feel pushed in a certain direction, to feel left out or that this takes anything away from their character. Zeke if you don't like this please don't just accept it.

I don't think anyone should be told how to RP their character. I've done some stupid stuff as Wulf and still will, there are times where I've held back because I didn't want to upset the group. He's headstrong and doesn't think about his actions.

So please let's see what we can get out of this in game. I don't want anyone to leave.

Wulf looks annoyed at Ton as he takes what he was looking at away from him. "I don't think that's going to catch on..." He says straight.

"What good is that thing going to do?" He looks at the camera showing the super realistic image of Ton then back at the Elf then shrugs. "I guess it's some good magic but, did you duplicate yourself or something?"

I've always wanted to play in a Wrath of the Righteous game only ever finishing book one in a live game.

I will put something together but is there anything you feel the party really need? You said there was main ranged so I'll stay away from that. I was considering a alchemist/slayer or ranger going for a witcher type character.

I was also wondering on the pace of the game? I currently had free time with my work and I'm looking for a fast pace game, how many posts do you try and get out a day? Or what do you expect?

I think with Christmas and all that comes with it, I know I've been having less time to check on the boards. So any slow down is expected and I'll only start complaining if we stop altogether. We have a very good and fun group here.

Mustache I meant to ask you if you thought we would catch up with your home group. Has testing stuff on them changed a lot for us? where you thought something was too easy or hard?

I love the idea of this game. I have a lot of ideas, but I want to read over the whole thread to make sure I'm not stepping on anyone's toes first.

But I will attempt to get something up tomorrow!

After everything, after all he had been through his faith was still solid. He would be more willing to question the gods and wanting to understand them and hopefully be able to talk to Desna again, get more insight in to their power and how they see themselves in the greater world.

What they had all been through, something like that doesn't just leave you. It will be something they all carry with them for as long as they live. But no one will know what happened he will remember what Erek said, but no one there did it because they would win fame, they did it because it had to be done.

I see it as being a ring bearer? You are touch by the Tyrants darkness and you will always carry it with you.

They walked away from that tower, broken and beaten but victorious. Markus did all he could to heal and cure the others. But he always kept an eye on Kendra, knowing it was probably a waste of time with the way she was now. She must be more powerful than anything else in the world, but old ways die hard.

He attempted to find Cara and save her from whatever plane she was on, he had loads of divination magic and was ready to plane shift to save her. He even tried to bring Morbar back, no matter what he picked he just wanted to offer the choice.

He follows Kendra back to Lepistand making sure she is settled in and setting himself up with a permanent place to live. He wanted to understand exactly how it changed her if she allowed it. He worked at the university, picking up where the professor left off, while also teaching about faith and knowledge and how both can go hand in hand. He approached the Order of the palatine eye, getting more information out of them with the contacts he made through the Judge. He also push hard to get them back on track, back to their original reasons for existing.

He heads out to the Stairs of the Moon he had wanted to finish off what he started so long ago. Large churches are not the place of followers of Desna, but a place he was visited by his god is not one to give up. Getting it fully consecrated, cleaned up and bringing acolytes and priests with him was not easy. He planned pilgrimages from the temple to explore the unknown. While attempting to truly understand the site and its connection with Desna, hopefully speaking to her again.

But he wouldn't spend long from Lepistand teleporting back and forth, he still had his duties at the university and would alway be there to look in on Kendra, if she needed anything and even going on small adventures with her reliving the times her uncle would take her out to explore.

From time to time he would use his divination magic to look in on each of the other. Just wanting to know how their lives were going and when time permitted it he would contact them all and get them together once again, where they would tell stories of where their travels took them and it would feel like old times. He always enjoyed those times, he always felt at ease around them no matter the problems he had with them before after all was said and done they were his family.

He continued to do mostly all the same things, hoping to not need to save the world again. But to enjoy the time he had left and remembering those they had lost. Sebastian, Morbar and Cara. He made the most of the time he was given, and always finding time to just go for a walk.

Markus holds on to the chains with all his might, the links dig in deep as he holds the Tyrant down long enough for Erek and Jon to finish him, with the help of Kendra.

He watches on as the Tyrant finally falls, everything building up to this one moment. A combination of all the roads travelled and all the moments he could have strayed away. But all the pain and all the hurt has led him on this long and winding road.

As the mixture of energy entwines he feels it stain him deep down, his soul tainted by what they had all done here. Killing a creature like The Whispering Tyrant was never going to leave them whole or just as they were. They would carry it for as long as they would live.

Letting the chains fall from his hands it lands with a thud and rattles on the floor then dissipates in a haze of purple smoke.

He walks slowly towards Kendra pushing aside all the others they have lost, he a moment thinking of how he will save them how he will bring them back. He is then thrown back to the time at Ravengrow, the simple times how he would do anything to protect her. Then picking up the pace as he moves quickly to stand over Kendra, she is so far from the women he remembers. Kneeling down he checks her over a gently as he can. "Kendra..." When he first lost her it broke him but now everytime he sees her it hurts just as much, but seeing her as she is now he wishes he could take all her pain away. "Kendra you saved us... you were the strongest of us all. But please don't leave me."

Holding his large drink he leans against the bar turning to LaRA when she asks about a joke. "I've got one for you. Now you have to picture this, it's all about the build-up." He lets out a burp only just bringing his hand up to muffle it. "That wasn't the joke." He wobbles a bit and then downs his drink. "Now here's a golden joke for you. When's a door not a door." He pauses a moment, holding back a large smile. "When it's a jar!" He slaps his leg as he laughs. "I heard that in some random trading camp, still gets me every time."

Wulf grins mischievously as Gawfulk hands him the mace, he holds it up high for everyone to see britting it tightly in one hand. "We have to find out what it does, it might vital in protecting the town when the time comes. Val won't miss a chair." He whispers the last bit. Pushing people away and then lifting the mace up and smashing it down on to the rickety chair.

I can't even remember what it did.

Wulf then looks over everyone attempting to see whats in the chest but loses interest, nothing in there looked interesting to him. "Look this place is pretty crazy, but what can we use all that stuff for? Is that one like the one Garfulk has? It really hurt my eye's and I'm not sure how much that one helped." Corrleon Rp:
He finds it hard to swallow he had hoped to get back to the hut to unleash all his pent up anger all his sorrow, everything he couldn't bear to hold alone he just wanted it out of him.

"Corrleon, I appreciate it." He holds back a fit of tears as he attempts to get his words out. "But I just need this now, I need to be alone I can't stand to think of Sapphire not being there. Her strength her will to keep moving helped me more than I wish to accept."

"We found Lucrezzia, and she died. Who's next? I don't want to die Corrleon, not for Baba Yaga. I would rather it was me in place of Sapphire and Lucrezzia. I would happily trade everything to save them." He pulls away now. "I thought myself a bold man at the start of all this but I was running, I've always been running and now I can hardly keep up. It's been so long I want to go back home to a place I can never go. To feel the embrace of Emily to know nothing bad could happen to me in her arms. But I let her down just like I have everyone else." The knot in his stomach returns as he feels himself almost throw up.

"I thank you, but I'm no good to anyone tonight. The Hut gave us Nishimura because of what happened. How long tell we add another damned to our party. You are so beyond me Corrleon, if I didn't have this chain around my neck I'd have run a long time ago."
---------------------

Hut:

Alone in the hut didn't make it any better, Corrleon catching up to him that didn't help either it was all just building up and now seeing just what the curse does he had to think of a way out. I've come so far, the things I've seen and duplicated maybe I can reverse what the curse does stop the side effect.

Moving over to the alchemical supplies he begins to prep for a long night of work, taking out a large bottle of whiskey he starts to pour a large drink and downs it.

He pulls out everything from his bag looking for his formula book but spots the flask Del got him, he squeezes it and then places it back in his bag. Remembering the man who got out with his life.

Throughout the night, he would stop and look around the overriding feeling of someone watching him catching movement just out of the corner of his eye but then nothing was there.

Greyston then spends the night working over his notes attempting to brew something that might rival the curse, every now and then downing a strange colour liquid the taste getting more bitter as the night goes on. He would test more than a dozen before the sun came up.
-------------------

Leaving the Hut Greyston looks half dead, the night of experiments showing on his pain, cold sweat face.

Breaking into the clearing he holds up his hand to show it's him and then sits silently for a moment, arriving as Baknarla starts to speak of the fortress taking out an old tarnished flask and drinking deeply from it. Turning to look at Nishimura as she gasps. "That's where we're going, we got ambushed but these massive creatures and there were we lost two of us."

Sorry for the lack of posts today, out all day busy and just got back from seeing the shape of water.

Wulf grits his teeth and flashes a look at Zeke as he hears him in his head again. But doesn't say anything with Val standing next to them. "The sludge did me no harm. Zeke." He emphasizes his name, giving him another look.

He feels the grating in his head again as Zeke speaks, but once more holds back with Val so close. "Powerful magic indeed, that places is all kinds of strange I assume that will only be the start. We will carry on but I think it might be best if we just take a little look around the cave first."

---

As the night goes on he drinks with whoever wishes to join him, talking about the battle and what other battles await them down there. When Val comes over to him he offers arm draping it over her and holding her tight as she lays her head on his shoulder. He says nothing for once, not wanting to say something stupid and just holds her as he continues to talk and drink.

---

Waking up to the sound of pots and pans Wulfs looks down to see his chest exposed and is quick to jump out of bed and cover up his chest with a shirt, thankfully a clean now.

Getting dressed he takes time to properly tuck his shirt in smoothing out the creased lines. Then he opens the door out of the bedroom and before stepping out he closes the door again, repeating the action of opening and closing it another six times before stepping out quickly as the door swings behind him.

Moving swiftly into the main room he steps up to the table and pulls out a chair feeling it wobble he places it back under the table and steps to the next one, shaking it and then pulling it all the way out adjusting it to sit perfectly straight and then sits.

Hearing only part of what caused the commotion he speaks up. "What did you say about Varrad? He's left? He takes the knife and fork and begins to clean them on the tablecloth.

He then turns back to Val her beauty so striking and the way she can drink almost puts him to shame. "It has been my luckiest night. I think I'll stop while I'm ahead and put whats left of my luck to better things." His head rolls about as he attempts to focus on her, the drink hitting him hard now.

Staring into her eye's they remind him of crystal clear pools, he places both hands on her cheeks and goes in for a soft kiss. In that moment his heart stops, her lips taste sweet, the butterflies in his stomach kick up a storm and then it happens, he is quick to move away from Val as he begins to throw up everything he has drunk through the night on to the casino's lavish floor.

Wiping his mouth with the back of his hands, he looks around shrugs and goes in for another kiss.

The last to emerge from the water, Wulf looks around making sure everyone made it out helping the other out and onto the shore.

Val is on him before he even see's her. "It's nice to see you too." He attempts to play it cool. "Sorry about all stuff I broke last night, I been feeling pretty crappy about it. But seeing you after everything down there was worth it all. He smiles.

Getting back to his room Wulf lays his hammer down and takes off his soaked clothes and is quick to change after checking over his skin seeing if anything has changed with the mental specs. He feels different, he feels the strain in the muscles from the fighting but he can almost feel the metal below his skin moving sloshing about. The worry kicks up butterflies in this stomach, as he remembers what happened when he first changed. He hopes it doesn't get any worse.

----

He saunters downstairs, taking a large mug of beer and downing it. "I needed that!"

As the gold is handed out and looking in the pouch and can't even think what to spend so much gold on. He holds it in is palm weighing it up. "Ton will you look after my gold for me, It's safe with you." He hands over the hefty bag, not seeing that much gold before and not wanting to lose it instantly.

When Val grabs Zeke, Wulf speaks up in support. "We did so much today and we all came out of it alive. We have to have a few drinks, have little fun. I'm excited to see how Val is with a few drinks in her." He smiles at her, with a wink.

With a loud knock at the door Wulf grabs his hammer, not sure what to expect. He relaxes as the large man starts to speak. "Free Drinks?!" He shouts out from the back as he hears that. Pushing forward as the larger man leaves he smiles. "Let's go and enjoy his fine hospitality, nothing bad could come of this surely?" He looks to Ton and Charles.

Hello Ictoo here, posting my Human Inquisitor/Slayer Torvin. I'm 99% done I have traits picked just not sure on what ones to go with just yet.

Excited to hear what you think of my back story Loup.

Backstory:

Mother, Father

I trust this letter finds you well. I arrived early this morning in the town of Sandpoint, a small place on the Varisian Gulf. How’s my brother? Lornak would call it ‘soft,’ but the people are friendly and welcoming of a Hunter which is more than can be said for some of Ustalav, where the townsfolk seem as monstrous as the things that stalk the night.

Nevertheless, all of them seem to know something of this Sandpoint Devil, a creature famed for it’s almost deliberate attacks on the town and those who dwell in the outskirts. I have set my sights on bringing in it’s hide.

In other matters, though the town is pleasant the journey was anything but. In the orcish city of Urglin on the Storval Plateau I heard tell of a griffyn hunting caravans that crossed the wastes into Varisia. For three days and four nights I tracked the thing without rest or shelter, marking it’s tracks and spore with my own scent, just as you told me Father - challenging the thing and warning it to stay out of my territory.

When it sprung my trap, the fight was fierce. I clipped it’s wings but under that pale moon both flesh and feathers flew.

But I remembered my lessons, Father.

My quiver remains full, my blade keen. As you always taught me.

Pray for me.

Torvin.

He blows out his cheeks with a resigned sigh, reading over the letter for the third time. He had taken all afternoon to write it and the day’s light was growing dim.

Who am I kidding? I haven't fought anything apart from nausea from this swill they call ale.

With that in mind, he sinks the last of it and slams the clay mug down on the bar with more force than he meant to, drawing a few looks from the patrons within.

The other hand closes on the letter and crumples it into a ball in his gauntlet. As he crosses the room in half a dozen strides of his long, lean legs, he tosses it idly toward the fireplace, not doubting for a moment that it landed nestled in the flames.

Sandpoint was a dustbowl. A small, unassuming town with little going on beyond this Swallowtail Festival that was whipping the populace up into a frenzy. At least some of what he had written were true. Tales were rife of monsters pervading the swamps, goblins harrying caravans and even the legendary Sandpoint Devil roaming the landscape, preying on the unsuspecting traveller.

But he had been here for four days and had seen hide nor hare of any of them and he wondered how he would ever have the chance to prove to his family that he could be as good a hunter as they.

He had been sending the letters for months now on his journey across the Inner Sea. At first they were just missives on how his travels, that he had arrived safely (though he had no particular destination in mind) and that he was investigating rumours as any good hunter should when gaining worldly experience. But gradually, as trails had gone cold and myths turned out to be nothing more than old wives' tales he had begun to feel the weight of expectation.

Torvin could remember years past where he and his brother would spar in the courtyard of Gravecharge, the massive Pharasmin cathedral in Lepistadt. For hours they would match steps and strike and dodge and parry and lunge and through it all he could feel his father's eyes on his back. Always watching him, always judging him as if his brother had already proven all he needed and that he was slow in his training. Or worse, a disappointment. Every time his brother knocked him down he would be forced to stand and recite passages from The Bone Lands in a Spiral while the other initiates looked on. His Father felt he was honing his son as one might hone a blade, but in the darkness of his spartan cell Torvin often wondered where the point was that a honed blade became brittle and broken.

Well even now when his father was five hundred miles away in Ustalav he felt like that little boy in the courtyard once again, wilting under his father's unyielding stare.

The temptation had always been to fill the letters with falsehood. To regale them with stories of heroism and derring-do that could answer any criticism that Rannok his father - one of the greatest vampire-hunters of his generation - could have of his youngest son. But the man had a perception like no other he had ever met, even the Head Priest Father Cidaimoikis, seemed intimidated by him, and he would see through the lies without question.

No, he was better than that. One day he would live up to his father's expectation and reputation and he would do so by earning it, in blood if necessary. Even if in truth his journey had been uneventful thus far, one lesson he had truly learnt from his father was that monsters are everywhere. Somehow, despite his travels, he felt his journey was only just beginning.

Personality:

He is determined but he has as much to prove to himself as to his father. Always wants to do what’s right but he is driven by his faith. It has been drilled into him to know one’s enemy for Pharasma places as much import on knowledge as she does on death. His father has sent him out into the world where life is easier and threats lessened - in his mind at least. Ustalav is a dark place where undeath lurks in the shadows but before Torvin can hunt these horrors he must be ready. And so his Father ordered him on a pilgrimage across the Inner Sea, honing his hunting skills and destroying evil where he might find it until one day he would be ready to return.

In truth, as much as he wants to prove his worth, he also wants to step out of his father’s shadow. He has seen that there is as much evil in the world from the living as the undead and wonders if the Lady of Graves has a different Fate for him.

Description:

Torvin is tall for a human but lean. He dresses in the black of his faith and is often mistaken for a mortician or plague doctor to those less aware of Pharasma’s Inquisitors. He has dark hair and is often unshaven, placing far more care on his numerous pieces of equipment than his own appearance.

Although he can be grim and serious, he learnt at the Cathedral that hunters work best when the hunt in a pack and he is both fiercely loyal to and protective of those he calls allies and he is as likely to share hunting tales as a joke with them.

Party Role:

Torvin is a switch hitter offering range and melee damage where it is needed. He has a large amount of skills and will use his intimidate and diplomacy for a face/anti face.

He will be taking trapfinding and disable device, at level 3. His spells will be support type to benefit the team, giving healing and some protection.

Just a little taste of what we've been doing - current investigation brought us face to face with A certain devil

I thought that was pretty cool, really appreciate the effort you put in JZ.

Akio slices through the streets of New York on his delivery bike, having just finished ten minutes early on his latest delivery earning him a big tip. Who knew all my training would come in handy for making money. He thinks to himself as he continues to pump his legs onwards, the slight but strong man weaves the bike with some skill and agility.

Arriving at the Financial District early he would have to wait for a pick up so he decides to jump off his bike and take it easy. The hot day hardly seem to affect him, in his loose fitting cotton clothes, but he takes a moment to look around as he pushes his bike through the crowds of people. Everyone here is someone of importance they all have their goals, they all life's far beyond what they do now... The people of this giant city are so fascinating. He ponders as he watches a large group of men in suits barge past a large group of tourists.

Continuing on he spots a group of people gathering up and then he starts to hear raised voices. Akio pushes his bike in the direction of the Ice Cream stand. What could be going on over here. Getting to the front of the group he see's a woman shouting at another woman about her phone and a man very oddly dressed for this type of weather.

That's a shame Dal, really liked the characters you played and was looking forward to running around with you :)

I'm sticking with my monk/magus(Unsure on the magus side I didn't get to really use it) He's been leveled down to one, just need to double check on the design doc and look at the boons. We aren't using traits correct?

JZ are going to post it open to everyone or contact someone you know?

Ok i've basically just thrown down all my ideas, I will be tidying it all up in my profile before tomorrows deadline(I need to read through it all again check spelling and grammar). I'd also love to hear any feedback you have!

@Marigold/JJ Completely missed he was picking the same trait i'll look into it.

I like what you have, very interesting stuff :P

I agree about us not all needing to 'know' each other its good to have a little connection, but the true flavour of the charter and friendship comes as we work together.

Backstory/life:
Born in Cauldron, never had much reason to leave other than on a hunt for game with his father or a few small patrols around the crater. His early life was not one of hardship but hard work, his parents expected a lot out of him being their oldest child and only son. The siblings following him where three sisters.
Settling into a routine favoured Renn, he know what he had to do and he knew it well. It was drilled into him from a young age, his father being part of the town guard and Militia. He train his son expecting him to join up when the time was right, he grew up with all his father's friends all looking out for each other. But then there were rumblings of plague starting from the lake, it was never the cleanest but it didn't hurt anyone.
Then the plague hit, people where dyeing everywhere, if you didn't have the money you would die. He cared for his family when his mother first got infected that slowly spread through his family. Renn being the only one to survive he lost his entire family to an invisible killer one he couldn't protect them from. Before she passed away his mother reminded him as she always used to 'Remember you have Surabar Spellmanson blood in you, do great things.' He grew up with her saying that feeling proud even if the other kids didn't believe him, but now it didn't help him nothing did.
After the plague he had a crisis of faith how this could fall on cauldron how he was hit so hard he spiralled for a while, only cleaning himself up when he knew no one else would help him.
He was never a religious man but gives a prey to Pelor in passing, more in habit from when his father and mother used to when they hoped for something or really needed guidance and strength. The gods had never done anything special for him, more pain than happiness he doesn't hold them in high regard.
He was good with a bow, his father always said it. He kept his eye on his goal and didn't take stop tell it was dead. He fell into becoming a Fletcher, he needed arrows for his bow they were expensive. When he would build up a stockpile he would start selling them off, never making loads but supplementing with all the other little jobs he would do around town.
He then met his wife, a grade higher than him in the social standings but she had a lot of sisters and her father wanted them wed. Then came his son, he had never been happier the day he saw him. They called him Gabriel after his father.
Things were always rocky between his wife and him. Renn was never well off, he worked hard for everything he had and she just wanted more, their relationship ended when she confessed to cheating on him to planning on leaving him. It broken him, it was never perfect but it was a routine he set himself into something to fall back on when he had a bad day now taken from him again, she left with his son.

Personality:

Renn is a simple man, quick to action when it is needed. Always willing to help out(although recently times have hit him hard), level headed to a degree but when it comes to those around him he can get very personal and protective as he has lost a lot in his life and will fight to keep it.
He was told for a young age he had greatness in his blood, descended from the founder of Cauldron. With that in mind and his own training and dedication has taught him a lot, not to go charging off but to study the situation understand it then strike when the situation presents itself. That greatness comes to those not seeking it but those that are ready to embrace it when the time comes.
With everything that happened after the plague he is standoffish with new people not looking for too many close friends, but his son is changing how he feels about the world again. It reminds him of the times he trained with his father.
He stands just under 6 foot, not a big man but one that would stand out in a fight with his brutish looks. His face shows him to be a working man, not so concerned about a bit of dirt. Picking up a few cuts and scars along the way with long hair showing signs of his age.

Friends/NPC/PC links:

Terseon Skellerang - Friendly, learnt some of my skills from him. Renn sees him as a person to trust.
Beppo, fruit seller. - Helped him with small jobs.
Kristof Jurgensen - Came to him after the plague to get some understanding of why my family was taken, friendly but not on the best of terms.
Kikinnin Rouradont - We know of each other, he's an interesting man but they never stuck up much of a friendship. Renn has respect for the dwarf.
Skie Aldersun - Trade with him and offer up arrows.

Places
Tipped Tankard Taven - spend most of my evenings here now with no family also hope to get some contact to help find my son
In the days since Renn's sons disappeared he's spent time at the Lantern Street Orphanage hoping he might turn up there or they have heard anything.
Town Guard Barracks - I'd spend some time there with some old friends/train and offer up some help.
Skie’s Treasury - Spent time here looking for work/ trade for goods.

As I've said/waffled on about(always find getting the ideas down the hardest). Renn is a down to earth guy, doesn't expect a lot but wants to help where he can. Only thing good in his life right now is his son, he lost his wife long before he found out about her cheating on him she, never told him any of the details. She took his son and their home.
Renn busies himself with his work, doing extra time with the militia and looking for any odd job to pull in more money. Only thing holding him back from the town guard is his son, when he disappears Renn's world is smashed he goes wild when he finds out running around town looking everywhere then starts to call in favours trying to get everyone looking.

Thanks for the advice Rutseg still combing over the player's guide. I was leaning to something of an artisan, i like that idea and my involvement in the militia.

I didn't realise it was only 7 days but that's fine, Having the wife in the picture could be too much baggage that could keep me away from the group, so i'll fiddle with that.

Very interesting Gov didn't see him as a paladin at all but can't wait to see what you show us. Does that mean I shouldn't go ratfolk :P

"Undead... bane of the living. We can't let them walk around the swamp, if they somehow made their way to Sandpoint a lot would die. We can turn in the bounty later, let's track them." He start to pack his gear and sling his axe over his shoulder. Then moves to help with the tracking.

For years the trade routes around Sandport were calm and mostly safe, even the old “goblin bounty" was discontinued. But now a group of goblins seems to have gotten their hands on firework and started to raid caravans again, disrupting trade and travel. Fearing that they'll spark a new wave of monster activity Sheriff Hemlock renewed the bounty, pledging 10 gold coins per goblins ear and an additional 500 for the eradication of this particular tribe. Determined to ensure the safety of the town and convinced the money best goes to you, you met up with some friends at the Rusty Dragon tavern to plan your foray into the marsh.

Hello! I'm starting up recruitment for a Jade Regent adventure path with Pathfinder. This will be my first time running a PbP but not my first time DM'ing. So lets get down to what you will need to make up your character.

Character Creation:

Point buy: 15 - stats no lower than 8 and no higher than 17 AFTER racial adjustments
Races: Core races only.
Classes: No Gunslingers, Summoners or paladin(and the complication that comes with them). Archetypes allowed but must be approved. I'd like a good reason for the Class/Archetype you pick.
Alignment: no evil
Traits: 2 - One campaign, one adventure.
HP: max 1st level, after half+1 or rolled.
Starting gold: 150gp
Source material: Paizo only, no 3PP
Posting frequency: One post per weekday minimum. But I know life gets in the way, so I will either take your go for you let you make it up.
Maps: I will be using the Jade Regent Interactive Maps, posted.
Initiative: To keep the flow of that game going i will be using a one team goes then the other. Broken up initiative can slow a game down I will make this all clear later on (Idea "borrowed" from JamZilla)
Number of Players: I'm going for 4-5 but that could change.

A good interesting back-story that gets me excited about your character and could be used in future plot will go a long way towards getting you a slot. I like the little things, get me excited to see how your character evolves. I don't need a novel, but a couple of paragraphs of back-story plus description as a minimum please.

After I've picked i may give you all a day or two to role play so you can introduce yourselves to each other before we start, you are meant to be friends or at least know of each other enough to group up.

@Remy Blaster

You get where i'm coming from, the whole confusion i can forgive he was not in control of himself. It's everything after that the death of a kid will affect anyone but he just brushed it off arguing he shouldn't feel anything because he wasn't in control of himself and as i said it was the wizard(JamZilla) who wanted to bring the child back.

This was all put on the back burner and seems to have been forgotten by most of my players(I didn't forget) There my be some crying and shouting but i think i'm going to have to do something you can't be as powerful as a paladin and play him like a CN, i don't expect 100% role playing from the table but at least try and play within your alignment.

Everything on your loot was loot that was split up evenly(more potions to front liners and so on) so it's all correct, the shackles and hammer needed to be held by someone the party loot is what we have stored in Kendra's house. This is how Jam wanted it setup so we could just say oh we had this item that will help us all along but not one had it written down. If you want me to take the stuff off you i'll carry them.

Since there is no point in me having any of the loot i let people who can use them have the say and no one has objected so i added them to your loot.
