I've posted some artwork for The Disappeared (4-11):
ChellishEmbassySketch.png: This is intended to be Ambrose's sketch of the embassy, showing only what can be seen from the spy's entrance, the "spy's waiting room", the main hall, the garden gate, and outside Zarta's room. I had Ambrose give it to the players at the briefing instead of just the verbal description. It also makes the players wonder how he knows where Zarta's room is and what you can see from her doorway. :-)

Added some map files for Silent Tide. They are made from the scenario images and a cliff map that was already in the folder. They are chopped up nicely into 8.5x11 printable sheets, though the resolution is not the greatest. They are all assembled in an easy to print PDF. I will be printing these for my game on Monday and thought I'd share.

Hello,
I'm in the process of adding some stuff to 04-18 The Veteran's Vault folder. First for general use is a "mission handout" for the players with a synopsis of the mission as given, and a list of the items that were given to their group, and a section for players to write additional notes.
I'm also adding a folder called Ephemera for the extra stuff I did that's just set dressing. Like letters/documents for factions to find/give out.
All will be loaded tonight, as my work pic is being a pain in the rear about uploading to Google Drive.
I do have gameplay pics from GenCon (showing the minis I made for the combatants). Should they go in a separate folder (and is there a naming convention for such photos?)?

Go ahead and make a separate folder for the pics --- please keep in mind that they may not stay as part of the shared folder as it grows and space is needed for game prep

I've just added my first attempt at contributing to this fantastic project. Created a Dramatis Personae for 1-37 The Beggar's Pearl - basically a list of NPCs by Tier to aid in selecting minis/pawns needed for the scenario, as well as when they appear. So far I've listed name & gender if applicable, creature type (including class), page in bestiary or scenario, creature size, weapons, and quantity per tier (a huge help for me as I sometimes miss the quantity in the scenario block). Feedback is appreciated.

I just posted my PFS Sheet v1 in the Helpful Resources folder. This Excel sheet allows you to build legal tables, tells you what subtier you may play (and lets you pick if it's allowed), assigns gold and out-of-subtier gold to PCs based on their levels, and even adds in Day Jobs.
So far it only works in Excel--you will have to download it rather than open it as a Google Docs sheet.
Please PM me if you find a problem with it or otherwise manage to break it.

I wrote a monologue for Frozen Fingers of Midnight explaining Skelg's story. I also added the stat blocks for the undead including their cold template and the desecrate property on Haldyr's mask.
I developed two enhancement documents for Murder's Mark. One is for knowledge checks made about Ilsurian and The Umbra Carnival. The other includes 37 player handouts about carnival workers, townsfolk and murder scenes.

Another question... one that I probably already know the answer to.
I have written (or am writing) some PFS introductions for a couple of the level of Thornkeep. I am running The Forgotten Laboratory and The Enigma Vault this weekend, and I thought it would be good to add in a little "PFS Color" to the modules.
I was thinking that I would post these to the shared folder for Thornkeep, but wanted to make sure that this would be "kosher". I have pulled information so far from the Thornkeep book itself, as well as Seekers of Secrets (for Venture-Captain information, etc).
I'd also appreciate any feedback (if people are still running Thornkeep anywhere but locally).
Thanks!

Sorry I've been MIA in this thread...
@silbeg -- I would think that putting the intros in for Thornkeep would be fine... just make sure the doc is labeled appropriately.
to others -- I've received a couple emails with files to upload in my personal email -- which is a pit right now ... and I'e lost the emails. Please resend them to the shared drive email so they can be found and uploaded right away for you :) thanks.

question about Printing the maps up - Specifically the Map ain 4-EX ... do these Print to a 1 inch Scale ... I ask so that I can avoid drawing this thing out
Looking at them, they should. However, I've not printed them so I don't know for certain sure ... best suggestion .. print the first page and see how it prints to know for certain sure what you're working with.

MGCady and I have started going through each of the adventures to add a document that includes the per-encounter breakdown of gold to reduce awards by for all normal cases - each subtier, out of tier for each possible out of tier combination, and slow play.
We're also including the Primary and Secondary Success conditions.
If I'm aware of 'related scenario numbers' to reference for boon interactions, I'll try to stick that in the cheat sheet as well.
(I got really tired of doing the math for out of tier partial success in Storval Stairs during GenCon.... and just now have had time to do the first of these!)
TetsujinOni |
For season 5 we're only doing the breakout of treasure by encounter so that you don't have to search through the document or math it for slow players on slot 10 of a con.... (Since the season 5 success conditions are more complicated, and the math for out of tier is done already...)

The Shared Prep Drive is all volunteer work - things get added to it when GMs decide that their prep is suitable for other people to see and upload it to the drive. If you don't see something, maybe that's a sign that you should prep the scenario and upload your prep for other GMs to benefit from.

I added a GM script and character tokens sheet that I created for #0-17 Perils of the Pirate Pack.

I was asked at the last con to share my We be goblins map and my WBG horse pawn to the shared drive, so it's up there now.
The Map is designed to be printed, cut out and tiled, and then to have the 3 levels of the boat stacked one on top of the other. Then when the PC's board, the the layers can be placed to the side to show the different layers of the decks.
The horse is a photo of a tired old horse in a mud field that I found on bing with the "licenced to use, share, and modify" tag. Please do not use commercially.

One of our former Venture Captains for the Minneapolis/St. Paul area typed up a good walkthrough of how to handle PC death during a session some time ago. (the costs and any remaining issues, etc.) I took that, streamlined the formatting a little, corrected a few mistakes, and put it into a PDF. It's called "Now that you're dead..." and has been uploaded to the Helpful Resources folder.
Let me know if anyone finds a mistake or thinks something should be added to it.

I've got a question for anyone who is well versed with the TOS. I'm currently prepping for 5-01 and I'm going through and making paper mini's by copying pictures out of the PDFs and then pasting them into Microsoft Publisher, so they can be printed, folded and placed into plastic bases. (I'm hoping to complete this file tonight after work.)
After I'm done, I can upload this file (or convert it over to another file that would be easier to print), but I just want to make sure that this wouldn't violate any policies that Paizo has before I do. (I want to be a good, non-rule violating Pathfinder after all.)
Thanks in advance!

Distributing artwork in general is a no-no from this aspect. You can use artwork from the blog under the Community Use guidelines, but not images from their other sources.
EDIT: And map images taken from scenarios are verboten as well.

Created Herolab por for Shadows fall on Absalom. This contains all foes for both 7-8 and 10-11.
Please note it was a first effort.
Things I havnt got right:
* Ranger is off in that he does not have a +x composite longbow. Blame Herolab being screwy.
* Mannequin at 10-11 is off. I hope to fix this when I work out how they got the stats they did
* The End Cleric is not my fault. Thats how they built him.

Uploaded Investigator.hl. This Hero Lab user file creates an Archetype to apply the 12/9 Playtest Revision to the Investigator class. Double-click the .hl file to install into Hero Labs. Add the "Revised" archetype (you'll find it under Inquisitor).
Please report any bugs or errors. I'll try to get the other classes up as soon as I can (Arcanist will likely be next).

Hi all ... An update from your neighborhood bunny.... I happen to have logged into an email account that I don't use frequently anymore, and had received an email notification that someone posted a comment on a doc. I cannot change the notifications -- as apparently it was an option that was disabled in an update *curses google*. The readme has been updated with the following information :)
Comments
Please do not use comments on different docs to communicate with us. The notifications are actually tied to an email that isn’t used much. Please email any direct queries to the PFSSharedGMPrep@gmail.com or make a comment in the forum thread :)

Uploaded HeroLab files for PFS #31 Sniper in the Deep. Some of the HP might be a bit off, and the feats certainly are off, but that's because they were incorrect. A cleric walking around in half-plate with no heavy weapon proficiency and with the Command Undead spell? So some changes made, but I've tried to stay as true to the originals as I could.
