I have a 4 monk, too! We could be monk buddies! He is a buff monk (can inspire like a bard using words of wisdom), but can sort of melee. At 4-5 tier though, I also have... Tengu 3 Barb/1 Fighter (next level getting Stalwart so my Crane Wing AC can become DR)
I also have a GM credit baby of level

Still alive. And yeah, I can Vassago, although I think he is level 8 now, so as long as it is a 5-9 or 7-11 we do, I am good! Otherwise... I have characters for any level. Joys of GM'ing a lot. Just need to know which one to play :) For a 1-2... think I have a Nagaji melee summoner I can use. Something else, too, but I gotta look at my PCs

I have the prestige for my own raise dead (16PP). I also have the gold for the restos from Harlis, although not sure how much we'll get from the scenario to offset that. We do get gold for what we managed to accomplish, so likely all but the last battle is how this is typically managed, but things were worded differently in Season 4. Incidentally, I don't think I have any chronicle boons to help. Much of the XP is from Season 1 stuff done with the GM, although I do have a bit of GM stuff on here and I think after this, some other GM credit will kick in to level up Vassago again. Gotta check on that later. And one more aside... do you guys still want to PF 1st Ed PbP together still after 2nd Ed comes out?

Vassago sighs, a mixture of being weakened from his defeat as well as shame from his failure. "I was away for much of the event. That was my greatest fault; perhaps if I had arrived sooner and paid a bit more attention, I would have realized the foes we were about to battle and would have made better preparations."

@Enora: Yes, but in an oddity, your original PC doesn't die until you can apply the credit. This also means you do have plenty of time to build up PP or gold to cover the raise dead/resto costs.

@Dr. Yeah, realized that a bit ago, too, but figured I should play Vassago as I have him to finish the scenario then correct it. Think I am missing a few skill points, too, so I dun goofed on leveling him. And ouch.

Sorry, I called it the wrong thing as it gets changed in the archetype. For the Overwhelming Soul that can't accept burn, they get an ability called Mental Prowess that allows me to ignore 1 burn for any wild talent 1/day (and does slowly scale up with level). It is the only way I can allow Kinetic Healer to work on myself or use it on someone else without forcing their burn.

Sorry, forgot to mention I wanted to use my Internal buffer to eat the burn since I know Sele can't take much (and usually when I post for kinetic heals, I state the burn damage) It isn't a true negative level as it doesn't apply any penalties and doesn't get you killed when stacked with real negative levels, just for the sake of noting the nonlethal damage. The kineticist can always take the burn when using kinetic healer, although my archetype doesn't allow me to take burn, thus the need for Internal Buffer.

Vassago, feeling a bit tired from the blow, steps back and channels another powerful water blast. Empowered water blast @ green: 1d20 + 11 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (20) + 11 + 1 - 1 = 31
"Via con Shelyn.", Vassago says in the same dead voice he acted with before.

Part of my issue of being sorta sporadic with this adventure... and trying not to metagame too much. I only thought of this actually as I was preparing another adventure and went oh *!^% in my head.

Ahh must not have updated my kinetic blade damage when I hit level 7. Will update my profile! The d6 will go up, but the other modifiers I get to my kinetic blast damage from one class feature do not add to kinetic blade as it specifically says it doesn't. Reflex: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23 Vassago takes the heat and his wounds start healing. The fire damage activates his fast healing 2 ability for 7 rounds now. So taking 6, will heal 2 of that on my turn.

Once again, with a dead look in his eyes, Vassago raises his hands up, but this time a blade of water which then turns into a deadly spike as the sound of crashing waves fills the room before jabbing it at Sele. Empowered kinetic blade @ Sele: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19

Thanks GM as that is what I would have done. New puppy + laptop power cable = ordering a new laptop power cable which came in today! "I certainly don't see myself as the weakest...", Vassago comments, nonchalantly coughing.

Vassago silently rejoins the party, knowing that there is little time to discuss his obviously failed attempts at intel. He quickly joins the others donning his robes and follows them into building. Upon being questioned, he flourishes his cloak and exposes his upper arm to the woman.

Hey guys, sorry for my absence. My computer dying, working retail hell through the holidays, family issues really took its toll on my end of Dec through January. Things have slowed down and I have recovered things on my end, ans I apologize for not communicating any of this. So if you will still have me, I'd like to roll more virtual dice with you all.

When they retired a few factions in Season 4, they offered so called retirement scenarios for those factions. If you were of that faction and completed it well enough, one of the boons was +1 to an ability score of your choice. A bit of a thank you/sorry for removing your faction thing. And for the Int headbands, that's how they work. Upon creation/purchase, you pick a skill for every +2 bonus it provides and you get "ranks" in those skills equal to your level. It was Paizo's solution for how to handle the fact that Int boosts your skill points, but how do you handle removing or changing headbands for getting skill points. Personally, I like the solution as it is far cleaner than having to track which skill points were earned from leveling up with headband on and other related annoyances.
