Enora - Iconic character |
Hi guys,
Would any of you be interested to start a GM rotation with other characters?
I have so many low level PCs that I want to see at higher levels and there are not enough games. :-)
I wanted to ask here first but would ask for interest in the Flaxseed lodge too.
I would GM the first game.
GM Chyro |
I'd be game, i've got a fair number of low lvl PCs as well.
I'm DMing In Your Closet |
I could...we'll see if I've got the verve to sustain that when the time comes.
Enora - Iconic character |
Who else is up to play 4-12 and start a GM rotation?
GM Chyro |
I'd have to check, i dunno what PCs i have for that lvl.
My roster's mostly lvl 1 and 2, 1 or 2 have stuff in their bank, but probably just to be lvl 6.
GM Chyro |
Haven't played either.
Though then to see if the others have played them.
Vassago Ilsidore |
Still alive. And yeah, I can Vassago, although I think he is level 8 now, so as long as it is a 5-9 or 7-11 we do, I am good!
Otherwise... I have characters for any level. Joys of GM'ing a lot. Just need to know which one to play :) For a 1-2... think I have a Nagaji melee summoner I can use. Something else, too, but I gotta look at my PCs
I'm Hiding In Your Closet |
Works for me. I have numerous characters at those Tiers champing at the bit for advancement!
GM Chyro |
Guys, something you may have noticed or not,
The brand has an evil aura. Those bearing it don't take any alignment shifts, but you do ping on a detect evil radar from now on.
Enora - Iconic character |
Yes. I will be able to start on Aug 14.
Which scenarios would you want to GM afterwards or in parallel??
GM Chyro |
Maybe, but said paladin might need a very convincing plead/diplomacy roll to go with that statement. ^^
Evil goddess' devoted only tattoo and all. ;)
I'm Hiding In Your Closet |
I'd prefer 4-5.
The adventure says it's particularly pertinent to the Concordance Faction, and I've got a 4th-level character affiliated with that, but what other Factions would have a good chance of benefiting? I've presently got 3 3rd-level characters - Grand Lodge, Sovereign Court, and Exchange - all 1 XP away from 4th level and long-itching to get there.
GM Chyro |
I have a monk and a ninja at lvl 4.
Though both of them need some inventory sorting.
Vassago Ilsidore |
I have a 4 monk, too! We could be monk buddies! He is a buff monk (can inspire like a bard using words of wisdom), but can sort of melee.
At 4-5 tier though, I also have...
Tengu 3 Barb/1 Fighter (next level getting Stalwart so my Crane Wing AC can become DR)
Aasimar 5 Hunter preference for ranged, but melee AC (owlbear!)
Human 5 Mesmerist, aimed at support. I play him like Derek Zoolander, but sadly you cannot see my hilariously bad attempts at Blue Magnum.
Human 3 Magus/2 Fighter I still need to rebuild from the Lore Warden nerf; basically played as Gambit from X-men including the throwing of cards
I also have a GM credit baby of level
GM Chyro |
Sure can do.
Probably Tuesday. There's a birthday to visit today and helping family tomorrow.

My available in-Tier characters:
3rd level:
Tiefling Fighter (Grand Lodge): Weird Archetype, unorthodox favored weapon. Perception and outdoorsmanship skills out the wazoo.
Dhampir Skald Dark Lord (Sovereign Court): Extensive powers of charm and manipulation, and pretty dangerous in a fight. Kind of a cross between Lord Byron and Dr. Frankenfurter.
Dwarf Inquisitor (Sovereign Court): Well-balanced despite being unhinged. Broad skillset, quality assortment of weapons, SR, an aura that helps the dying stabilize, otherwise offensively-oriented magic. I wouldn't expect him, though.
Half-Orc Investigator (Exchange): Beaucoup de skills, seriously good saving throw potential and other survival tricks, Scent, a few tricky-to-use specialized Spell-Like Abilities.
Dhampir Spiritualist (Dark Archive): Comparatively strong in melee, extensive intellectual and survival skills, occult powers mostly of the ESP and curse varieties, a master librarian with a special talent for the Research system, has little to fear from the written word.
4th level:
Human Druid (Concordance): Competent in melee, well-prepared for cold/icy/slippery environments, exceptional magical potential.
Gnome True Silvered Throne (Scarab Sages): Very durable, lots of cerebral skills, gift for languages, more powerful when beneath the night sky.
Sylph Thief (Exchange): No Sneak Attack, but supremely skilled, good at certain combat maneuvers, and a wide variety of other tricks and defenses; excels at harassment in combat.
5th level:
Dhampir Kensei (Dark Archive): Mysterious and menacing master of the bastard sword.
Wayang Psychic (Dark Archive): Spooky trickster, and a bit of a pyro; plenty skilled, and nothing if not powerful.
---
I'd be most inclined to either play one of my 1-away-from-4th 3rd-level characters, OR my Druid, since this adventure is said to favor the Concordance Faction. As I previously asked (and have yet to receive a reply), what other Factions may also stand to particularly benefit from this Scenario?
GM Chyro |
Dhampir Skald Dark Lord (Sovereign Court)
Has survived a venture into a menacing crypt, one of 3 survivors thereof.
Dhampir Kensei (Dark Archive):
Ventured into space in a pathfinder mass effort to forge alliance with the people establishing concordance.

Are you saying there may be a Faction-specific Boon on the Chronicle...?
GM Chyro |
Sele, are you coming with on one of the games?
GM Xazil |
I have less choices and no concordant characters in the list.
Level 3
Aasimar Cleric, ranged combat and mount.
Gripli Hunter, switch hitter with his froggy friend.
Level 4
Dwarf warpriest, tanky with heals.
Halfling occultist, fast and tanky.
Level 5
Tiefling Paladin / Ranger archer.
Human Cavalier with a big hammer, did the Tyranny of Winds trilogy.
Angrboda Fossey |
I'm Hiding In Your Closet wrote:Are you saying there may be a Faction-specific Boon on the Chronicle...?Yes, but it really is a minor boon.
It's better than nothing. For that and other reasons, I shall be playing my Druid.
@Xazil: Your Occultist and Cavalier both sound interesting.
Bargus Highbrew |
I will play my buff monk, which is mostly interesting as it was an attempt to use the most archetypes possible on a single PC; a qinggong drunken master sensei ouat.
Incidentally, he also carries his own keg to keep up his drunken ki... and is willing to share!
GM Chyro |
I regret to have to share that Sele will not rejoin the table.
Other than that, i'll kick off the ball tonight.
GM Xazil |
Okay, I'll go with my cavalier Baltyr. This sheet is from his previous game, but only needs a little updating. character sheet
Enora - Iconic character |
We need to recruit two players, right?
GM Chyro |
2, don't you mean 1?
You, Harlis/Xazil, IHIYC and Vassago's PC.
Enora - Iconic character |
The scenarios are designed for 6 PCs I think.
GM Chyro |
Ah?
Must be a recent thing, then? I had thought the mid-late season onwards was 5 people.
Well, i'll edit the recruitment post then.

Hey, more power to you!
I'm Hiding In Your Closet |
Uh, okay, let's see what I can field for that:
5th level:
Dhampir Kensei (Dark Archive): Mysterious and menacing master of the bastard sword.
Wayang Psychic (Dark Archive): Spooky trickster, and a bit of a pyro; plenty skilled, and nothing if not powerful.
6th level:
Aasimar Theologian (Exchange): You want a healbot? Look elsewhere. This is negative energy, fire, attitude, form-fitting buckskin pants, and an adamantine longsword in case of those annoying golems.
7th level:
Wayang Shadow Puppeteer (Silver Crusade): I like shadow puppets, so I made a shadow puppet who plays with shadow puppets while I'm playing my shadow puppet. A technically competent fighter with a plethora of skills and an extensive array of magical curses, blessings, illusions, and weirdness. He's also an experienced pirate now.
