She's saying timing is everything.

Yeppers.

Now I have the sneaking suspicion things are about to get as lively up there as the day Agartha 'de-inverted' itself...

:/

Don't you mean "when your son 'prolapsed' a planet"?

Doc Zeppler ~ "Cleanup on Aisle Agartha!" ;D

Time to make a new holiday XD

The best part of everyone being busy is that no one is around to tell me to stop giving the eggs popcorn. :)

"I could never let you down... Even when times get tough..." Taron sings softly to the eleven eggs in their soft nest. A new song had been going through his head and he'd been trying to work out lyrics for it. Kamenwati helped on occasion but Taron found the song didn't quite come out with him around.

So he'd taken to singing to his children and their cousins instead. Between lyrics he'd tell them stories or, and this he kept a well-guarded mental secret, he would sneak food in and little the little silver creature the eggs made try some. He knew if that got out he'd probably be scolded, but that was later and this was now and now he needed the distraction. The good memory of the astral construct's little almost-face as it experienced taste. The solace it brought.

Today was plain popcorn without any kernel pieces.

What else would you expect from Tam and Aananda's kids? I'm pretty sure they had elemental ABCs too....A is for Arsenic, B is for Boron, C is for Carbon, D is for Dubnium, E is for Erbium, F is for Flourine, G is for Gallium, H is for Helium, I is for Iodine, J is for .....well, turns out the whole idea breaks down at J. Huh. All the other letters, but no J. How disappointing. :P

You were using the wrong kind of list.

Oi! I don't mess with time! I got enough problems to deal with with the Phebes Twins™ getting Jealous.

Don't fret, Lim-Môr, the confusion is what we wanted, remember? (:<

The reaction I'm kinda expecting next time I have a plan of any sort.

Excuses, excuses...

Who are you again?

Well when he's threatened to shoot me and my now-sometimes-not-a-boyfriend I'd prefer safe over sorry.

She stopped in mid-bite, surprised by the question. "I never even considered the possibility. I suppose you're right. I'm basically a free agent now. No reason I can't. Although I'm not sure if I would be allowed. They might have some kind of agreement between themselves to all keep their distance from me now. Or not. Guess it can't hurt to ask."
"I will ask Him, but later. I'm enjoying the "us" time."

She smiled and scooted closer, leaning her head on his shoulder. "Me too," she said, and he could feel happiness and contentment from her. "It seems like we don't often get time just the two of us these days. I suppose it will be even more hectic once the babies hatch. So we'd better enjoy it while it lasts."

Dont worry. Pretty sure our brother will babysit. He's 'the responsible one' now.

I caused a genocide(well, sped it up) and tricked my family into think I was a world destroying evil dragon. That's still cold in my head.

Maybe it's because I knew them.

Too soon....

No, of course I'm not still bearing a grudge. In unrelated news, I am going to be just the best aunt ever...there are so many presents I already have picked out... >:D
Good thing you're my defecto babysitter. :p.
Hahahahahahahahaha....that's so cute. Of course I'm the babysitter...how else am I supposed to give them way too much candy, way too much excitement, and way too many irritating toys before I send them home to you. :D

Oh, that's cute too. You think that'll work. :)

I read the last word in Andromeda's post as prick and thought "How am I existential?" XD

Just embrace the unity of sharing the icon and making people double check our names just in case ;)

Taron relaxes with Kamenwati and their eggs in their room, enjoying the quiet moment away from the others. Quiet and warm in the incubation rom.

It's weird being the oldest now. How ever will I handle the extra responsibility of tearing time a new one every other hour?
Hey! I didn't get younger just because I'm adopted! Still the oldest here! :P

Semantics.

It's weird being the oldest now. How ever will I handle the extra responsibility of tearing time a new one every other hour?

How about I get you some nice, specifically cursed belts? Deadpool gave me a great idea for prank gifts.

You're just peeved because we don't share gossip with you. :p

Hissy fit indeed.

You say hissy fit, I say logical radicalism. :p

I have an amazing surprise planned for Ephebe and Annie now. 50/50 they cry or hit me repeatedly. >.>

Taron started taking notes.

::Krays, we can give you a middle name. And What about Annie? It fits.::

Though "Thing 1" also works, in my opinion.

::Glad there's only one of me then. Don't want to go around as Edmund.::

::This family is so confusing at times.::

Jinxes are Ephebe's thing. ;)

Is it weird the only way a person in this family can not be out of the ordinary for a Sunwake is to be the result of a planned pregnancy?

Extra lives again? Dang, sis, leave the checkpoints alone. :p

*hides the most recent pyre*

Prove what? I have no idea what you're talking about...

That explains the rash of spontaneous combustion that plagued the school though.

I will not apologize for art. Her Half-Dragon Barbies deserved a proper pyre.

As a belated Mother's Day gift, Kam and I got my mom a sign for her lab(s).

She probably rocks footie pajamas.

I'm honestly not bothered by the idea of waking up next to someone I shared a crib with. Though looking better in the same nightgown could be a little awkward! :p

Over the family bond:
::No immediate sign of her, Taron. I think we should proceed on moving the children, though. Who knows how long Kronos will keep her this time. Aananda, Kronos has taken Ephebe again, and judging from what she was feeling, it's not going to be a pleasant visit for her...::

::I really hate these Patrons... Moving the eggs now.:: He grumbles.

::Hey, I did not open the rift, okay? You'd have to be brain dead, oh mighty Champion of Death, to think I could do that without Kronos knowing about it. or do you think I enjoy knowing Vai is dead because of an old ally? That I...:: Taron has to block himself of mentally for several moments. ::Kam and I have a place on the Elemental Plane of Air. We've been taking turns setting up protective measures. Not wards, mind you, but only because of how often we've seen them breached.::

Krays wrote:

He is not angry, or judgmental, he is merely asking a question.

Another mental presence intrudes carefully

::You guys are loud. I've got Kam shielding the eggs from your broadcast at the moment, so we've got some time. Now, with all due understanding, if either of us is the problem, I think we need to address the fact mom saw me never hatching and the fact I'm not supposed to exist either.::

::So, given that morbid tidbit, I say Ephebe and I go take a jump through the hole and wreck the place.::

Ephebe, Krays, do you mind if I butt in on the telepathic conversation? I believe I can add more drama. :p

Hey, Sis! Guess what I found?

An adorable daycare that's still worse than your elementary school.. For now.

Any time I spend not thinking about how that happened is better for my sanity.

Especially with the eleven hatchlings that'll soon be breaking in their teeth...

We. Are. Everywhere!

A muscle in his jaw started to twitch and the pencil he was holding snapped in half. He took a deep breath. Got to remember he's a good kid, he told himself. Remember, Pyra will kill you if you follow your instinct to lock the girls up until they're adults and beat up anyone who dares to look at them sideways.

"First of all, nobody can give you permission to court Raelle except Raelle," he said in a carefully controlled voice. "She is her own person and doesn't need anyone else making those decisions for her."

He stood up. "But I would be remiss as a father if I did not remind you that she is only fifteen, and has just been through a difficult time. If you hurt her, it will be my duty as her father to introduce you to a world of pain. Let's not let that become necessary," he said, his expression grim and a little frightening.

"Preach it, brutha!"

[Fistbump]
(^-^)

This is why I hid Kam.
