Hello YawarFiesta,

If you subscribe to the Lost Omens or any other line after our order creation process it will behave as though placing a normal order for an available release - meaning it will either create an order to ship immediately, or it can go to the sidecart. You'll want to start the subscription, but make sure that the Ancestry Guide is put into your sidecart from checkout. Sidecarts are only generated during the order creation process. Since the next one that will be run after the one that is currently running will be the March one with the Bestiary 3 release, you'll just want to make sure that anything you order -- subscription or otherwise -- that you want to ship with Bestiary 3 must go into your sidecart.

Do make sure you wait until at least until the day after the current order generation. In some cases it takes more than a day to finish, so I'd say to play it safe aim for ordering on the 6th or after to make sure that the process has already hit your account so it won't after your orders are placed and generate your items too soon.

Please refrain from personal attacks and charged arguments. Trying to delegitimize another poster with a "gotcha" statement, or weaponize your argument or theirs is not a productive way to add your ideas to the discussion. Mocking other participant's ideas because they do not align with your perception of what is best or right is not acceptable. Try not to dichotomize arguments. There's a trend to want to develop two sides and assume any contribution is meant to align with one side or the other, which allows for an unnecessarily confrontational structure. Ultimately, we are all working toward creating a better game, class, and community, so please treat other conversation participants with respect and avoid using terms like "dishonest" to berate individuals. This is a personal attack.

Hello Anorak,

1. Sorry about the wait on that. The new sub appears to have been started just after order generation for the month. Once you receive your confirmation email adding new items to the sidecart or starting a new subscription does not automatically add those items to the already generated order. If you sent us a request to manually combine it, I'm sorry if we didn't get to it in time! It looks like it did correctly generate with this months items, so it should be on its way to you soon!

2. It looks like these wren't free because of the Pawn Collection issue! Not a problem! I'll go ahead and refund the charge for the June scenarios to your store credit. Please use this to balance out your expence on your next subscription shipment! Your complimentary subscription should kick in as soon as your current pending order ships, making these free from here on out.

3. I also refunded the overcharge for the shipping method that shipped these in two packages instead of one. I'm sorry for that error.

Hello TSRodriguez,

If you have not received those packages because they cannot be delivered at this time, they likely bounced back to us. We can set up a replacement for the items. I have set up replacements for the two orders you have not received in order 24325952. I have sent you a new confirmation email for the order reflecting what is now in it. The prices shouldn't have changed as the new items are replacements.

If your local situation has improved and you are able to receive packages, we can unsuspend your subscriptions and send out order 24325952 whenever you are ready. The PDFs will become available when the order ships. If you have many items suspended and are concerned with paying for them all at once, we can work with you to send you items when you are ready.

Just let us know when you are ready for the subscription to resume or are able to receive and purchase the items that are waiting for you in the suspended order. Thank you!

This blog is meant to address an issue which is important to many members of our community. Paizo has already made a statement to stand in solidarity with individuals who have reason to be concerned about the themes in Agents of Edgewatch. Debating about whether this statement is necessary, or questioning the feelings of those who it speaks to, is harmfully dismissive to those community members. For the health of the discussion, I feel we should steer away from putting the question of value on people's concerns or whether the statement was necessary. This statement exists because we feel it was worth it to address these concerns. Please share this level of respect with everyone in the community.

I just wanted to clarify any ongoing concerns with this. The City of Lost Omens book has been pushed back with no current set date for release. The Subscription has been updated to reflect this, so the subscription is displaying the truth, and will update with City of Lost Omens when that product has a set date that gives it a place in the subscription lineup.

Many arguments against the importance of focusing on the Black Lives Matter movement assume that saying “Black Lives Matter” implies that other lives somehow matter less. This is not the case. Saying "all lives matter" asks us to divert attention away from the issues uniquely affecting Black communities that urgently and immediately need our focus and solidarity. The use of "all lives matter" minimizes the experience and lives of Black people in America. We can’t fight for all lives until we have ensured Black lives matter.

We feel that these arguments do not give the long-neglected issues of racism, police brutality, and systemic oppression the deference and support that we intend with our statement. We have therefore removed such posts.

Political threads are generally not allowed on Paizo.com. We recognize the current situation creates the unique need for us to make an exception to this rule. Please respect the purpose and intent of our other forums, and we will do our best to maintain this space for discussion, support, and sharing of resources.

Hello folks!

This thread was about posting in other poster's threads to provide assistance. In some cases members of the community can be very informed, have personal experience with, and be faster at providing assistance. In those cases, we are grateful that folks are willing to help each other out! However, it has its flaws.

Majority of problems are going to take one of us CS representatives to resolve, and we do work from the oldest posts to the newest posts as they appear on the CS forum page. This means that by providing help, you will change the timestamp on the post. If your post doesn't completely resolve the issue, this means that it will indeed take longer for a CS rep to take a look at it.

I think its wonderful when community members help each other out, but to mitigate frustration, here's some things to consider!

1. Its our jobs.
This is just to say that we get paid to have the info and give the help! It is no community member's responsibility other than our own to do this. Please continue to be wonderful community members, but know that we are here to be relied upon.

2. The CS forum is special.
This is structured to be a place where folks can come specifically looking for CS. We don't patrol anywhere else on these forums for CS reasons, and folks should know where they can find us. For the folks with the problems and solutions, know that the community is totally a resource, so you might have a problem that you can post elsewhere for a community solution. If folks want a CS rep, they are in the right place here! Let's make that an expected standard.

3. Recourse for the helpful.
I think we could have a lot more helpful advice on this subject, use of the CS forums overall, and some insight for everyone on really common issues we see. This will take us some time to put together. In the meantime, reading through Steve Geddes's post at this link is a good summation of this specific issue. While we will certainly work hard to provide something more official and concrete based on our CS perspective, this is a great summation of the problem from a community standpoint. Like I said, I love that folks can be so helpful to each other, and with a communal understanding of how best to respect each other there's a lot less frustration to be had!

I can also confirm I have not been supplanted as of this post timestamp.

For what it's worth, I have some great conversations on the CS phone line with some really lovely people. It totally has its advantages and disadvantages, and its good and bad interactions (I'd say my very favorite and most traumatizing interactions are courtesy of the phone line). I really appreciate everyone who has been so patient without it, so thanks! I have appreciated getting to pivot my focus on areas of CS that this set up makes it easier to attend to, but I do also miss the ease of chatting to solve complicated situations with orders!

Woah folks, there is no need to target any perceived demographic of our gamer population, and the tone of sarcasm and mockery is not appropriate. I think we can all agree that the whole situation is going to have consequences for the industry in many ways. You can present any speculation or point of view you have on this without attacking any person or group.

I am lucky in that so far my greatest struggle with all this is a terrible sleep pattern. "Why are you reading this at 4am?" Shuddup.

The discussion is getting a bit heated here, and we need to take a step back and not tell folks what they can and can't play nor what they can and can't enjoy. When someone gives you their opinion on any system or rule, it is not your prerogative to change that opinion. You can take note of opinions that differ from yours, consider this always as a valid opinion that they are allowed to have, and know that it doesn't have to impact your game, preferences, or make your own perspective on the rules or system any less valid. When you ask for opinions, you are going to receive ones from all across the board. Don't allow these varied contributions to lead to frustration, and if it is, it may be time to step away from the discussion.
