Depending on when you start, I have a couple of interested options. I would either be level 1 or level 2.

I would very much like to tag back into your next game if you have the room.

As an aside, I keep losing count of my XP, even.

This happens to me all the time; I assign a GM credit to a character locked in a game, and then by the time the game finishes, I forget how many GM credits they have backed up.

I've encountered the same deal. I don't know why it's such an issue for me, but I've yet to completely wrap my head around the 12 xp for a level in 2e. I've created a similar google excel doc to help me track.

My Doc (link) if anyone has an interest in doing something similar.

I have two options depending on if we think we'll be done by gameday.

A rogue and a ranger.

I'd be willing to join you in this journey

Hello all.

Character crunch created, but not transitioned into paizo site yet. Sorry but the last couple days at work have been a tad hectic.

I'm willing to tag along.

Last couple days have been full of fun-filled meetings with critical mental drain damage...

Working on catching up on some work and I'll get Mizzug post up in a bit.

My bad GM - was looking at the stats for the 'Special Goblin' when I posted my miss.

By third level Razkiv, it should apply to most every character. It just only applies to full BAB characters at level 1.

and... you don't care whether you hit your allies?

I suppose you could always use a percentage die to see which person you actually hit if you really don't like the current firing into melee rules. Not in a campaign I am in, though, please. I'd rather not fall to friendly fire.

You're no fun! I ran a homebrew once with my wife playing the wildrager barbarian. Her will save mod iirc was -1. She attacked her own teammates regularly. :-P

Here. Sorry.

Friday work I was swamped and didn't get a chance to log in. This weekend, I was lazy and spent trying to reset.

Missed that we'd started. Jumping in now

Yeah - uh...what MrStr4ng3 said. :-P

The biggest beneficial difference between the Core and Unchained rogue is getting your Dex Mod to damage.

There are other aspects as well though

@OSW - Actually, disregard the question. It doesn't make sense now that I actually pay attention to what I asked. :-P

Precise Strike looks quite nice for melee.

Starting Gold?: 3d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 4) = 7 x10 (Minumum 150g)

@Bruno: I played a cleric of Erastil once. The spell or feat or whatever where you can shoot your companions with a bow to heal them is amusing...when you dont tell your companions what it is ahead of time. :-P

Absolutely nothing wrong with a switch hitter. I had a fairly brutal one I made from the Slayer class a while back.

I'm perfectly willing to switch out of melee to something else.

Hello there! Nice to see some familiar faces and excited to add some new to the list.

So far looks like we are leaning this direction...

Mr Strange: Ranger Possibly
RePete: Barbarian/Fighter Possibly (Something Front-line Type)
OSW: Cavalier
Ralph: Rogue/Sorcerer Possibly
Bruno: Cleric Possibly
Nayr: Summoner Possibly

Physical Damage: 3 or 4
Divine Spell Access: 1 or 2
Arcane Spell Access: 1 or 2

@OSW: Are you looking for frontline striker or meatshield setup?

@Mr Strange: Are you intending to go ranged, melee, or something else?

I could easily go with something else if necessary. I enjoy controlling the battlefield as well with spells/abilities. Things that give us the PCs an advantage.

If it's not too late, I'd be up for the quest.

Ended up making a sorcerer. Working on finishing profile now for it

I've played a little of everything myself. I tend to go with High Intelligence classes from the looks of things.

I'd be kind of interested in going with a frontliner - Barbarian/Fighter style. Someone not so bright as a change of pace.

However, depending on group, I have lots of potential characters I could go with.

Sounds good :-)

I haven't started formulating a profile yet. Trying to figure out the best way to set it up for 2e.

Anyone know when the society guide is going to be released?

Book arrived yesterday for me. Still working on committing it to memory - stupid work interrupting my studies. :-P

Looking hard at going with a 'Storm Druid'.

How important is a positive Con Mod in V2? Anyone know? lol

Kewl!

Mine should arrive this week. I'm waiting till I get it to decide what to make

I apologize if you've already seen this in another game, I am posting it to all I'm involved in.

It's unlikely I'll be able to post for a couple days. An emergent family issue has come up. Feel free to bot me as you see fit if necessary. I'm sorry for any inconvenience.

Sorry for delay. Long couple days at work & wife genetic "disorder" landed her in ER.

So on loot sheet - I marked out the items I suggest we sell and split the profits. Its below the 2k limit.

The fractional amount left over from an even divide I put in to the "shared" list. I would suggest whomever is using the items we kept should add it to their list and remove it from the "Found/Stolen" section. AkA the ring, the crossbow, etc.

The robe of bones is too expensive for us to sell here.

Currently, I'm going to risk not making any purchases GM.

Sorry I haven't been active much last week or so. Work issues have been abundant.

Looking over gear/loot sheet. Do we wish to keep a portion separate as a "Party Fund" for things beneficial to the entire party? AkA CLW Wand, Scroll of Raise Dead, Etc. Or just split the funds across the board and deal with those things as they come up?

Regardless, I think we should definitely buy a CLW Wand before heading back out.

Prior to selling anything, Tessa can't afford anything of use.

Officially going on the record that losing a standard action by failing to hold something seems a little onerous on the part of the Pathfinder ruleset. I guess having no such rules in PF 2 might just be seen as not quite a retrograde step. I think. Are there any rules left in PF 2?

I've heard the rules have been reduced to...show up. Throw something (Preferrably a d20) at the GM and receive a chronicle sheet. ;-)

Truthfully, I've only played 2 Playtest games so...I'm not fully versed on the ruleset yet. It was enjoyable playing a Titan Mauler though. I've built something like 10 'Titan Mauler' Barbarians for PF1 so far but...haven't had a chance to play one yet.

Tessa/RePete Vote: Keep the rules.

GM Sphen, is the foe on the ground?

Harness, you crack me up! Keep it up. :-)

Still here, but I go after the enemy (as does Cavenn and Harness)
I know Saira has been sick, would she prefer someone bot her for the moment till she's feeling better?

Happy Thanksgiving!

Got it. Thanks GM Blake for running.

I likely won't take the change unless I find a LG god for Umbrato. With his personality, I suspect not though.

Just a heads up oh wise and mighty GM...I am fleeing the state for somewhere with much less reliable connections October 13th. I'll be back among the civilized October 20th in the afternoon/evening.

I plan to check games in evening hours while I'm gone, but if needed anyone can feel free to bot me. I will try to have a "bot me" spoiler on profile by then.

Though its still a week away, I'm not sure if my character will be done by then. He's stay in Heaven seems to be taking longer than anticipated. (The rolling blackouts on the site and whatnot didn't help)

I do have other options in tier if he can't make it.

Oh, you don't have to sell me on it. Desna would own Robori handily.

Spellcraft... Gonna need a nap first... Perhaps we can find us one of them lanterns that cast detect magic for us. ;-)

Tessa: If you start a holy war, I think you know which side will win.

Oh, I'm well aware you aren't a friend of Robori's in that situation. :-)

Edit: Out of curiosity...since I stepped into the pool during combat...uh...does anything happen to me? (aside from getting wet)

Poke Poke...Poke

HEY IT WORKED!!!

I'm here. As with our mechanical friend, I'm slowly catching up on my games with the impromptu week long forced hiatus... /le sigh

Certainly good sir.

I would also like to apologize for my absence, but I have no good excuse.

Oh, it's understandable Saira...you were just too enthralled by my posterior to speak.

:-P

Funny you say that, I started looking at the barbarian and the Giant Totem stole my attention...

Goblin Titan Mauler....oooo the fun that could be had

Agreed on gnomes. With you going cleric, I'll likely go melee of some kind. Looking it over again.

126566-1501

Admittedly, I have lots of thoughts on what to play. Been reading the playtest rules for several days now and I'm slowly narrowing my options down. Off work today so I'm hoping to get something put together tonight.

Z..D... are you goin with a ranged ranger? Or melee?

I suppose we'll allow it this time GM...

I apologize for my absence the last couple days. Work kicked my butt.

I generally try running it through a pdf extractor. A lot of times it'll pull the traps and secret doors off the map.

I've found it doesn't work as well with maps pre-season 4 though.

Wow...that...

Not sure if the GM should grant you bonus xp or take it away for that pun. :-P

I have returned to the land of the internet. I am refreshed and hopefully rejuvenated...we shall see.

I have over 260 work e-mails to sort through today from my absence...but will be working on catching up on my games throughout the day today as well.

Reminder to some, perhaps new information to others....

I'm leaving in the morning for a week. I will have very limited access to the internet via my phone.

Don't hesitate to bot me if needed.
