Hi ! I'm looking to get back into the pbp scene and this may be an interesting jumping in point, If I did so, I'd likely keep the character more or less the same . Again, this would be something I'd be an amateur at but I'll spend some time looking at the ic thread and refreshing myself on mythic rules in
Looks Interesting, dotting. EDIT: Loose Concept is - An intra-dimensional traveler from a parallel/ fey or demon like plane brought to Halcyon city... I could see the direction going towards either the Doomed , or Outsider playbooks depending on the team composition. In Brief Doomed version Look Spoiler:
Ambiguous, weird skin color , Haunted eyes , Adaptive clothing, Grim Costume Abilities Spoiler:
Something of a chosen one from home dimension to expand the dimension across all other existence ? Body Transmutation. Superhuman Strength and Speed, Psychic Constructs Nemesis Spoiler:
The mask likes earth and doesn't want to lead the apocalypse. This makes some folks in the fey/demon dimension mad ... So his nemesis may be either a powerful wizard from that dimension that imbued him with the powers in the first place,
or it could be that the hero an extreme outlier and all the other inhabitants of the dimension are evil and after the hero for not fulfilling his destiny ( this works best with a demon-like hero i'd suppose ) Outsider version Look Spoiler:
Ambiguous/ Shifting , Neon Body/ Human Body, Glowing Eyes or Bizarre Eyes , No Human clothing, Your Station's Costume Abilities Spoiler:
This version would be akin to a royal envoy from a more benevolent alien/ fey dimension than the doomed version above. You can fly, and you’re pretty tough, also Density control and Radical shape-shifting Nemesis / Villian Spoiler: I'm thinking the evil wizard nemesis from above could work here too, it's just that he's actively trying to bring about doom rather than having already laid the plans/ acted out the prophecy. Maybe he's an evil uncle who wants to usurp the kingdom at home and sends regular assassins after the royal envoy in Halycon city.
Official apology for falling out of my posting cycle here, I've been swamped the last couple days with work and baby checkups, exc. I'll get caught up and try to get a post up while I'm at work in the next 6 hours or so. If work is busy, It'll be a little after that, sorry for the inconvenience folks

Sorry for the change of heart , but I've sort of lost my momentum for this and I really am having a hard time working up posts. I apologize for the inconvenience, no hard feelings, but I'll have to bow out folks. Happy gaming, perhaps we'll cross paths again!
Here's a first draft, I think I'll take you up on the starting package thing. He'll be associated with the intelligence wing as an agent.Ambitions mechanically of getting him to the crime-lord class I think. I like the fear-inspiring angle and their resistance to force powers. I imagine him as the imposing type who carries a big gun and intimidates a lot of people, without the aid of the force! ? ?
Hey all, I think I'll bow out of this for now, as to avoid over-extending my self on the forums here. My lady and I have just brought home a new-born ( and our first) child, and as interested as I am in eventually exploring the FATE system, I don't know if I have the time to do so as of now. Best of luck however A' Pirating! Happy Gaming
4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 2, 5) = 13 11
6 point buy eh? reroll... 4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 6, 5) = 19 15
That's a little better.
I like them, I feel like I need to expand on the " Knee High Knifer" in some way, but I'm not sure how, perhaps adding his role i.e. Knee-High-Knife-Wielding Captain, Bos'n, Assault Leader exc. I considered trouble: " Gambler" or something like that, meaning he has a gambling addiction, and gambles in everyday life, finds it hard to refuse bets. EDIT: Here's an image that's serving as inspiration for the character, courtesy of ChateNoire on Deviant art
Just looking at a general idea, I'm thinking my high concept might be something like " Knee-High Knifer" as far as general ship roles go , the character might work as the Boatswain or maybe even the captain if that isn't an npc role. Might also be interesting to call him the "man-at-arms", and have the halfling lead our boarding parties.

GM Spoiler: Certainly! I can agree to that

GM Spoiler: Sha Koon was aware as well, at least of Anakin being vader, and Plo Koon and at least a few others had learned from the defeated Count Dooku that an unknown Sith lord was controlling the Galactic Senate. In the current version of my background, Sha Koon tells Tiem Savvo( a character I'm making up), and he tells Plungo Mu'un. If that's too much knowledge, I don't mind nixing that part
Interested. GM
Spoiler: Hi there GM, I'm relatively new to the boards here and the only PbP I'm in currently is a Crypt of the Everflame game, but admittedly, it's running a little slow and I'd love to get a game with a bit faster pace. That being said, my first child is due late this month, so I expect that will keep me away from the boards for a few days at least. If neither of those things disqualify me in your eyes, I'll work on a submission!
I've heard of FATE but never tried it, but I'm interested. My first ever game of DnD 3.0 was an adventure in Freeport that was by Green Ronin I think? We all played hard-nosed gnomes/halflings and there was one dwarf, so there were plenty of awful jokes regarding height made. All in all it was a good time and I'm interested in maybe recreating that little scoundrel, but again, It would be my first time with the system

Spoiler: Since no one else has put it forward yet, I think I have a concept for a character with the Jedi class to submit. I'm thinking of a Trandoshan, who was not a Jedi at the time of Order 66, but instead has been trained secretly for the last 5 years by a Jedi who escaped and landed ( maybe crash-landed) on Trandosha. The elderly Jedi might have taken in the character after he was abandoned by his poverty-stricken parents for being too small or weak as a youngling. He passes of natural causes and becomes one with the force about the time the game begins, bequeathing his lightsaber to his young Padawan. I can expand on this a bit, but I just wanted to clear the concept with you first. Thanks.

Anyone has issues with that? That's fine, I've created an account on there for GMSoul's Crypt of the Everflame game I play in on theses boards
