Just make sure the GM is also following his own rules for the NPCs/bad guys.

I think the best trio of characters are the one where the players are laughing and having a good time.

If it's not too far away, you all should go see him and have a game there. It should not only make him feel better, but also change his attitude towards the game. If you show him you really care, he might just start caring back.

You are not concentrating to maintain or call down a bolt. Concentration rules do not apply.

Tell him if he wants a healbot, play one himself.

Trox? Please...

You could try the NPC Codex or post in the S&S forum.

A character that can automatically confirm critical hits crits with a vorpol weapon and Lucifer misses his fortification chance.

They'll level up slower if you don't give them more to fight or more quests.. When they should be seven, they'll actually be four. They'll finish the campaign around 9 if you don't up the XP. Remember to add 1 to the APL because you have more than 6 PCs.

This is so easy.

1. Take his character sheet.
2. Make a copy of it.
3. Write 'with a goatee' on the copy.

300,000 is probably just a rounding from 332,900.

Lovecraft did it. ;)

And now he's dead. Coincidence? I think not.

Thank you for pointing that out.

Actually, stone goes for 350 sp per 45 lbs. Also, cold iron is a metal, not a rock.

Hey, I know you from the other thread! Sorry I didn't check this one. It's probably a 40 min drive to northern Worcester. We are all in our early 30s as well.

Tell them "You all meet in a tavern". Totally different.

My only beef with GMs is when they describe everything in the room in minute details, they talk about how the air feels, the humidity, the tension, and THEN they say "Oh, and there's a big dragon too."
HOW THE HELL DID WE NOT SEE THE BIG DRAGON FIRST!?!
I do it now when I GM only because it's a running gag.

A squad of archer pack mules that craft magic items?

If a natural 20 is an automatic hit, then the highest AC you will ever need is 20 higher than your enemy's to hit.

EDIT: Per the FAQ, you actually have to USE a defending weapon to get the bonus.

We only need three classes: the Cleric, the Fighting man, and the Magic-User. Anything else is blasphemy and not allowed in my games.
It should be stated that no one else wants to play with me anymore. Kids nowadays want to play all these weird classes like "rogue".

Yes. And take your monkey men with you.

The correct term is Vanaras.

You should try using the race builder in the ARG. I would just take the Half-Elf and Half-Orc races and mix them together.

+2 to One Ability Score
Medium size
Normal speed
Darkvision probably, at least low-light vision
Skill focus (Intimidate) at 1st level?
Orf blooded: Counts as Elf and Orc
Orc Ferocity and Keen Senses; OR Elven Immunities adn Weapon Familiarity
Languages: Common, Orc, Elven, any other (except blah blah).
They would probably have a slightly longer life than an Orc.

The easiest way I can think of is to say that one side is dominant over the other and use either the half-orc or half-elf race, but change it physically to show traits from the other race. A half-elf with bigger muscles and sharp teeth. A half-orc with nicer skin and slender build.

Anglon beams with delight that he finally used hold person successfully.

I can understand why a starting character wouldn't have a ranged weapon because, at that level, crossbows are basically a one off and longbows are expensive. But all you have to do is kill a bad guy with a ranged weapon, then you get a ranged weapon for free!!

For example, if you are wielding it one-handed (which normally requires the Exotic Weapon Proficiency feat), it is treated as a one-handed weapon; Power Attack only gets the one-handed bonus, you cannot use Pushing Assault or Shield of Swings (which require a two-handed weapon), and so on.

If you are wielding it with two hands (whether or not you have the Exotic Weapon Proficiency to wield it with one hand), it is treated as a two-handed weapon; Power Attack gets the increased damage bonus, you can use Pushing Assault or Shield of Swings (which require a two-handed weapon), and so on.

The gods in Pathfinder are so far beyond mortals that they don't need stats, they just win. Other gods can't even beat gods. It took several gods just to trap one god. If you really want to have a PC fight a god, check out D&Ds Deities and Demigods.
Best of luck to the dwarf!

Pilfering hand has got to be my favorite. My oracle stole the BBG fighter's crazy sword and the BG cleric's holy symbol in the same fight. Totally turned it around for our party. Plus it was hilarious.

means that the acid damage should not be halfed. Even if that is true, you're still looking at only damaging hafted weapons, projectiles, wooden shields, tower shields, and armor made of stone, wood, leather/hide, ice, paper/cloth, or glass if they roll over a 5. Plus, ammunition should be destroyed after a hit anyway.

Out of turn free action talking Hey, count. Now that there are two of you, who is the real count? Surely Zon-Kuthon will destroy the imposter. The both of you should fight it out to see who is really worthy of being his disciple.

That's probably why it says in the beginning of the core rule book "these rules are yours. You can change them to fit your needs." There are a LOT of rules lawyers out there. I've also read much of what James Jacobs has posted and get the impression that he really doesn't care what you have to do, just have fun with it.
