Eloise lowers her gun out of sight in the back of the car as the people in the front talk to the soldiers. "This is crazy," she thinks to herself as they speed away and watch the missile hits the bridge.

Eloise watches out the rear window as the car speeds along. While maintaining her rear vigil, she glances occasionally between Chelsea beside her, and the rest of the group seated in the mid and front of the car. "What the hell is happening," she mumbles under her breath, loud enough that only Chelsea could hear.

Eloise walks over and crouches down to inspect the head. It’s gnashing teeth and eye rolling focus on her and ts as if the head still has some kind of rudimentary intelligence. ”Fascinating,” she whispers to herself.

Eloise pulls up as she sees the man continue to shuffle towards them, wounds that should by all means have killed him apparently doing nothing to halt his progress. She reaches into her jacket and pulls out her pistol, raising it to aim at the man as he staggers towards Nick. Agility Roll to pull pistol from Jacket: 1d8 ⇒ 2

Eloise hugs Chelsea, and then turns back to the man on the ground. She had thought that he was dead, which was why she hadn't gone to help him, but seeing him start to rise, she thought she must have been wrong and starts to hurry over, he arms held out before her in a placating gesture.

Eloise disengages from her Spex and turns to Brian and sighs. "No luck, can't get through on any line."

Eloise stares down at the man they all just killed, then to Chelsea being helped up by Brian. "I... I..." she shakes her head to clear it. "What in the Hell just happened? Are you alright Chels?" She rushes over to her friend and hugs her. She notices the blood on the machete in her hand and pulls away. She looks around, but seeing nothing else handy, she wipes the blood off on the dead man's shirt. While doing so, she spies the belt, and it seems she's not the only one as Brian bends down and casually takes the whole belt off him.

Ahhh cool sorry I must have misread their actions, I thought they'd gone to the street and the cars were there. Eloise looks stunned as the crazed man jumps out of the car and attacks Chelsea. She debates pulling out her gun or machete, but figuring that the gun would be too hard to aim into the scuffle, she draws her machete from it's pouch and steps forward to attack the man. Apparently she isn't the only one who had this idea as she sees two of the other men step forward as well. Atlas, I believe drawing your weapon and then attacking incurs a -2 penalty to your roll for multi-actions (p.66)

Eloise wanders around the Pharmacy, but all of the things that she might need have already been taken. Upon hearing the gunfire, she glances over at Chelsea. Chelsea had the same idea and motions her head towards the door. They both walk back out towards the food court and notice some of the other patrons moving towards the ground level. They follow, not wanting to head back towards the checkpoint and the gunfire.

DM: Eloise smiles as Chelsea approaches, and they begin chatting over their food. They had just decided to at least check out the shops before they close, when they hear the angry voices echoing down the hall. They glance at each other and thinking the same thing, quickly wolf down the last of their food. She picks up her gear from the floor and they begin to head towards the shopping portion of the plaza, taking a circuitous route while trying to avoid the other food court patrons. |
