![]() Mine looks good too. I do have a level 8 wizard I could do bonekeep 3 with. He's even got a number of non-core spells he's picked up including spiked pit, and a staff of fire (which, as we learned, may or may not be a good thing). Unlike Deluge he is not a wimp and can dish out damage. ![]()

![]() You can attack while grappled, particularly with UC. the challenge for you with being grappled is two fold. First, the next step is pinning. If it has the ability to pin and succeeds then you are well and truly screwed. Second is that some monsters have special abilities that activate when you are grappled. ![]()

![]() If you want to take a guess on energy damage, Deluge has a wand of resist energy you could use. He also has 12 goodberries to top you off when using a wand of CLW instead of wasting charges for 1-2 HP. ![]()

![]() Since this place is meant to kill full parties I think it would be nuts to continue with half of one. But Deluge is a disappointing character and I'm OK with losing him. Core druid focusing on spell casting with no animal companion sucks. The spell list is underwhelming. So I will abstain unless we need a tie breaker. ![]()

![]() That's one of the things I really dislike about the system, having to figure out the stacking conflicts is a real pain at higher levels. No such thing as a perfect system though and a small price to pay for someone with a degree in math. ![]()

![]() I had a protection from energy spell and a resist energy wand. I never thought to cover all four elements. That would be a bit extreme. Those spells are usually fired off after you realize there is a good chance of seeing that damage type. In this case there was absolutely no warning. So it is basically one of those 'oops, you're dead' situations. Like a medusa, or feeblemind, or other spell where if you miss your ST you die. It happens. At least in PFS they put in rules to get raised so it hurts but is not too depressing, and I knew up front there was a good chance of this happening. ![]()

![]() No evasion here and the big guy is not good at dodging. He will use timelost chronicler to get a +1 to the first save, then Kassen’s Blessing to get a reroll. 1) reflex: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 1 = 13; reroll:reflex: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 4 + 1 = 17
So he makes the first save, second save, and 5th save, for 81 damage total. He dies. Even with some lucky rolls. He never really had a chance. ![]()

![]() Should have posted my question here. Are the ogres using two handed weapons and are the metal or wood? If they are two handed I can forget about the warp wood as the weapons would be large and I could only get one of them. Probably go with flaming sphere if that happens. Someone make a knowledge local on these things so we know what bonekeep has done to a simple ogre. ![]()
