"Well," Ny'a begins. "I don't know about you, but just jumping through portal after portal is kinda boring. Let's see what's around that bend!" She points her not-undead-at-all arm down towards the other path, and begins heading that way.

Though she'll make way for Tere to check for traps along the path if the elf wants to do so.

Not really worth it as you have to pass through 4 squares to get to the other side. And typically these things have the ability to stop you cold if you try and pummel you anyway. My advice is to just eat the attack.

Actually given the walls, there is only one square that Pau could move through (the one that TBITD is in) that the creature could give an AOO from due to the "hard corners". That said there is also no way to get a flank attack in on it given the current wall configuration. I've moved him a step forward so he can full attack next round, though noting that the wall means the creature does have cover from his attack (as it would also have vs attacks from the square above TBITD).

Per the FAQ, you only need to make 1 Acrobatics check per foe that you're tumbling past, regardless of how many squares you have to move through. You only lose the move action to a successful AoO for moving through the enemy's space, not just their threatened squares.

I think I'm confused about the map now too. I thought I understood it, but I guess I don't! I thought we'd entered from the portal right by Ny'a, which wouldn't have triggered an AoO. What portal did we enter from? Maybe we should be marking that out (arrows, perhaps) so there's no confusion moving forward.

Also, Ny'a should benefit from the same cover that the enemy does; her AC for that attack should be 27, not 23; did she still get hit?

Lantern Lodge

Silent tide map

@Pau yes.
@N'ya sorry, arrow for entry added. I had the initial characters next to it, but if you dind't see the map at that stage it would not have been clear. The AOO was triggered when you left the square that Two blades was in (the one up from the one Pau is currently in) which has no cover bonus. The square you are currently in, and the square that Pau is currently in have walls that mean there is a cover bonus. If the enemy attacked N'ya in her current square she would get the AC benefit.
