Hey y'all! This new-mom thing is no joke! Now that I don't have a large backlog to work through before posting I should be able to keep better pace though.

Well... that kinda depends. I'd been planning to just do the move and deal with the repercussions (hopefully as an Aid Another to Randall and Lucille's testimony of what they saw), but if they're actively telling her not to kill this guy, then she's not going to argue.
So it depends where in the branching timelines presented in Gameplay we actually are, I guess

So here's my thinking:
I'm guessing Harrigan would still back him over us, but also wouldn't be happy about Plugg actively trying to kill us since the good Cap'n is who instituted the No Killing rule to make sure we keep as full a crew as possible.
So I don't want to kill them in a way that will make Harrigan get real involved. But if Jape saw me knock Fipps out before he got taken down, then he has to at least wonder if it was someone else with a grudge, or if it really was another dire rat down in the bilges.
But I also do want them to get the message.
I was thinking that Chisomo absolutely cops to everything up until the throat rip. She heard a commotion and saw Jape and Fibbs trying to kill Randall. She stopped them. They're still down in the bilges for the officers to determine their punishment.
Ideal outcome: Plugg has to keelhaul his own guy Jape for attempted murder, Chisomo probably gets some lashes for failing to protect Fibbs from the rats

As Jape collapsed with a splash, Chisomo stooped to prop him up against the wall, dragging Fipps over to join him. When Lucille drew near she didn't stop her work, curtly informing her that "Randall needs healing. Long slash along his chest from this one."
She dropped to one knee in front of Fipps, stiffening her fingers before reaching out and messily tearing out his throat.
"Too bad the rats got him while we were informing the captain."

With a slowly spreading smile, Chisomo continues her assault, closing within even the tight reach of the sweep of Japes's knife, then when he backs off delivering a wickedly high roundhouse to the side of his head.
I'd said I was only using Stunning Fist if the second attack went at Japes to avoid that - but I would've just used it and missed for this next attack so it all evens out.

It sounds like Chisomo has to take a move to get close enough to hit em. If that's the case, she'll fight defensively for her one attack, but if she can get a flurry off then she'll power attack with both swings and forego the extra AC
