Thanks to Sedoriku for running the game and all the other players for a fun adventure.

Of note to me, the party composition was a fun part.

Carmelizzia does not take any penalty from trying to do non-lethal so she usually go for that unless fighting undead or other things immune to it. She grabbed the hat to see if that was helping it regenerate, and attacked to see if that would prevent the redcap from waking up.

Carmelizzia has a silver holy symbol of Shelyn. I did not mention it when describing Carmelizzia. If it’s the size of Kyra’s holy symbol, it’s in her backpack; I had imagined it was a pendant on a necklace or something similar.

Carmelizzia uses the sling she had taken in hand and throws her cold iron bullet toward the same enemy targeted by Herondal.

Strike ◆
Sling, Inspired: 1d20 + 11 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 11 + 1 = 32
Bludgeoning, Inspired: 1d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 + 1 = 5

Then she reloads , using the cold iron ammunition Herondal gave her, and throw another bullet toward the same creature.

Strike ◆
Sling, Inspired: 1d20 + 11 + 1 - 5 ⇒ (9) + 11 + 1 - 5 = 16
Bludgeoning, Inspired: 1d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 + 1 = 4

Carmelizzia grabs her sling, intend on using those sling cold iron bullets she was given.

They are not magical, so that’s probably going to do less damage that any of her unarmed attack…

Carmelizzia shouts to the Pathfinders “That stream is dangerous! There’s an illusion making it look like it is far slower than it really is!

Everyone in the party can open the spoiler.

As the new pathfinders do not seem to listen, she shouts to them “I’ve dealt with Qxal before, be wary of his illusions!

Let me do some dance for you, this one is from my birthplace, Varisia.” and she starts a varisian dance, hopefully with one of the bard doing the music, but she can do without.

Performance, dance: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (16) + 14 = 30

Once her performance is over, she tells them, pretending to need rest, “I wouldn’t trust Qxal if I were you, I’m sure he will leave you if it means he could escape.

Carmelizzia is a female varisian woman. She wears brightly coloured clothing, mainly turquoise and orange, with a hint of pink, red, and green. Despite wearing robes, they are clearly designed to avoid hindering her movements. She has clearly visible muscles, and her movements are very fluid. The others have had the time to let her introduce herself as Carmelizzia Danzare, dancer and member of the Pathfinder Society so that can explore the world, show her talents and learn more while meeting interesting people. Every morning she practices some dances mixed with martial arts, she will tell the story of how she started learning martial arts to defend herself before joining the society where she learned more.

Once in the camp, she tries to help around, but her most notable try will be to help Venture-Captain, Khoumrock Blackthane with his repairs.

Athletics DC 20: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14

Not trained in Nature, Society or Survival so just rolling aiming for the 20

Valais Durant: 1d20 ⇒ 13

Trying to help Valais Durant, Carmelizzia is quickly bored and goes elsewhere to try to help someone else.

Urwal, Verdant Wheel: 1d20 ⇒ 1

While doing inventory, she starts mixing up crates that were already neatly organized.

Carmelizzia played 1-16 and 1-17.

I haven’t played 1-20 yet.

Hi there. I’ve updated Carmelizzia, she has grown up since last time I played her at the board when she was level 2.

Her exploration activity depends on what the other do. She can search or scout.

She can only do two things: dance and fight (while dancing). She’s an expert in athletics and perform, and she is able to talk nicely to people.
In combat, she’ll go in melee after using either of her stance.

I’ve put her in front, but due to her speed, she can go a little behind if needed.

Downtime will depend on whether I manage to use Stand Still. I’ve add one opportunity to use it and enemies where immune, so I’m thinking on retraining it.

Looks good to me, thanks again.

Carmelizzia is offering her dancing against a couple of drinks:

Performance: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11

And as usual, she only gets a couple of cp.

Thank for running the game, and I hope I see you in another game everyone!

Carmelizzia’s thinking if that beast didn’t attack them, it could have been us. I wonder if anyone would have come to our rescue…

At the mention of preparing food, she replies “If someone tells me what to do, I’m sure I can do something helpful.

Carmelizzia stands up, happy to still be alive. Coming toward the injured she says “I can’t do anything to help them unfortunately. We should try to find Olin before he gets lost or something. Once he is safe, I guess we’ll try to mend their wounds.” While talking she’s looking at her bruises and especially the scars. “Is that infected? That was not a lycanthrope, was it?

While someone is busy trying to tend to the wounded, she will spend some time doing some dancing while giving a prayer to Shelyn. Refocus

That thing is nasty, 22 AC is really high. With something that powerful, trying to help the team might be a death sentence for the party. Well maybe it does not hit that hard, I think we just got lucky on those damage rolls.

Honestly, I thought those inside the cave were already dead and that only Olin was alive.
Getting past the bear would have been very hard, so I think the only option would have been the heal spell, I do not think we have anyone able to cast those.

And I realize now that I forgot to pick my pathfinder schools items…

I’m a bit confused at how I ended up next to the bear. I only had enough movement to end 15 feet away from it. Maybe I’m mistaken and it was 10 feet and it has reach. Anyway, moving on.

Carmelizzia, remembering how the dwarf was thrown, tries to escape the hold.

<1> Escape from the grab. The escape indicates to make a unarmed attack modifier, it is not clear to me if Dexterity can be used in that case. If it can not, Carmelizzia would only have a +7, so she would use her acrobatics instead that would give her a +8.
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10 Well no hero point to reroll that critical failure…

Failing to get out of the way, the varisian tries to use her claws at the beast, striking as fast as she can.

<1> Flurry of blows
Tiger Claw: 1d20 + 9 - 4 ⇒ (3) + 9 - 4 = 8
Tiger Claw: 1d20 + 9 - 8 ⇒ (18) + 9 - 8 = 19, I do not think that hits as 29 was not a critical hit, but just in case Slashing: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
<1> Strike
Tiger Claw: 1d20 + 9 - 8 ⇒ (13) + 9 - 8 = 14

Carmelizzia moves toward the creature, surprised at its retreat wondering if it’s wounded and fleeing or if it has some surprises waiting around there, so she starts looking around for traps.

2× <1> Stride and <1> Seek
Carmelizzia ended up 10 feet East of the creature

Carmelizzia leaps up to get to the bear then with a shout, releases her ki to slash the bear with all her force.

<1> Leap: 10 feet, Dancing Leaf feat adds 5 feet to that. I moved NE of the bear.
<1> Ki Strike (focus spell): pick force damage and do a Flurry of Blows.
Tiger Claw: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 9 + 1 = 29 for Slashing+Force: 1d8 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + 2 + (1) = 8. In case it is a critical hit and it does damage, the target takes 1d4 persistent bleed damage.
Tiger Claw: 1d20 + 9 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (18) + 9 + 1 - 4 = 24 for Slashing+Force: 1d8 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) + 2 + (2) = 5.
<1> Tiger Claw: 1d20 + 9 + 1 - 8 ⇒ (7) + 9 + 1 - 8 = 9 for Slashing: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 in case that hits.
