Using an Aid Token is never an action. You can use these 'whenever they like' so I guess even after knowing the results of the attack.

Tapi keeps his healing droning going on as he calls for a helpful wood cutter to come out of the woods and help chop down this tree.

The tree gives a shudder as it sees the giant axe in the cutter's hands.

Hymn of healing is a focus composition, so with Refocus time it's basically free. It's even better since I'm not dropping inspire courage to do it, since you and Pyotr have that. After 30 minutes of healing, everyone reports back to Blackthane. He gives a nod. "Great job handling those plants. Lookes like they did a number if that shield's anything to go by! Let's get back with everyone!"

Your slightly larger group starts to move on when you hear a mangled scream in the distance and Blackthane immediately calls for the group to halt. He moves up to a high vantage point and looks around. Pointing at your group he calls you up. "You handled those plants well and look to be in good shape. But seems there’s something that has been taking down some of our scouts by the sound of that scream. I want you to go see if you can’t find what happened to them and report back if the way is clear.” The dwarf then puts a finger to his lips and speaks quietly. “There’s things here that aren’t what they seem. Some of those fey are real tricky...looking like things they aren’t. Don’t trust your eyes.”

The tracks of the scouts are fairly easy to follow until they hit a patch of rocks that lead to a downed tree across a river. It takes a few seconds to figure out but it seems like the scouts kept to the path and used a downed tree to ford a river. As you cross the tree though, a brilliant white horse in full bridle and gear waves its mane in the sun glinting off the river. It seems to be terrified of having lost its master and shies away from the path. Herondal however feels a deep pull in his soul as if the horse was calling to him to jump into its saddle and claim it for his own.

DC 23 Will save from Herondal please.

Additionally further down the path there seems to be a small owl trapped in a net of woven vines in the trees. It hoots openly and painfully as it flails about in the trap and fails to break free, clearly needing help.

They then starts to approach the owl.
Not sure how far you wanted to go there, as your token hasn't moved on the map.

Delorn keeps his magical defenses up and scans the area for enemies, but he sees nothing other than the animals in the area.

Carmelizzia and Pytor deliberate about possibilities of the owl being a wizard's familiar, or maybe the familiar of one of the missing scouts.

Pytor offers to call in a friend to help check the trap as well, while Carmelizzia notes that the net seems to have grown together and knotted itself, meaning it's unlikely to have been made by human hands.

Tapi notices the horse's bridle and gear doesn't have any notifying symbols or marks, but it seems odd that the thing is standing in the middle of the stream. Maybe something happened to it or there's something more to the situation here. He tries to detect magic in the area, but from where he is, there's nothing that pings his senses other than the items that everyone is already holding.

The owl gives a whimper as it stops moving in the net and seems to give up on getting free, one of its wings bent at an unnatural angle.

The horse seems terrified still and neighs a whimpering neigh. Crunch suddenly gets a pervasive thought that the horse must have belonged to one of the scouts that have been attacked! I did put in my notes for the character that if I ever get a regular failure on a Recall check I use my reaction for Kreighton's Cognitive Crossover, so I get to roll Occultism (+15, +1 more with the scenario bonus) on the same check. Unless I failed on that too?

Tapi I had forgotten about that! Sorry for that

Tapi doesn't recall anything about the creature from a occult perspective either.

Herondal resists the alergenic effects of the creature's pollen and counters with an acting performance that inspires everyone while causing mental pain to the creature. The pain proves to be temporary but still painful.
Success for full damage but no persistent.

Pytor avoids getting caught in the plants and strides closer to get a good look at the creature. He recognizes it as a blodeuwedd, a fey creature that is also a plant. It can transform, as everyone has found out, cast primal spells, and has a weakness to cold iron. It also can pull in extra strength from the plants around it, but is seems to be brimming with energy already so it might have done that before everyone arrived.

Crunch proves that they don't have a pollen allergy as well, and swings back at the rude blodeuwedd for a massive hit that slams the creature into the ground. Prone as it is the next strike also hits the blodeuwedd.

Carmelizzia starts sneezing due to the pollen and then gets tangled in the vines but she still moves up next to the fey like a prowling tiger and slashes it once due to it being on the ground.
