Well on the last one combat is crossed out so clearly it is just rescuing an owl. Who doesn't want to do some animal rescue?
It Talks! is obvious.
And The Mushroom Ring sounds good. So I vote those 3 and am fine with Befuddled Pathfinders.
Without a dedicated healer lets skip combat when we can.
Seconded

![]() |

As a permanently Befuddled Pathfinder, Pyotr wouldn't mind that one, but I have little preference. Agreed on trying to avoid combat.

GM Sedoriku |

Ah I misunderstood. I thought it was one of each type per section. Can we pass the same one each time or do we need to receive one in order to pass it again? If we can just keep passing inspire courage to parties that don't have any status bonuses, I'm fine focusing on the Performance checks.
Otherwise by all means throw that Provide Knowledge check to a group that needs help with Recall. I'd go for NovelEnigma's group. They have a lot of spellcasters at low level, so knowing if enemies are resistant to their spell types would be good. If they already have one then Blake's group is low level and only has one investigator as a knowledgeable character.
I was looking at passing on that provide Knowledge, but NovelEnigma isn't running a table of the special. They were originally signed up for it but they didn't have enough sign ups and are running a regular scenario instead.
I've updated the list of tables with asterisks to mark who has received a token so far.

Whoops meant to add those to the short description of the Campaign for easy copy and paste. They're added there now, feel free to use as needed. I'll be adding a set to the GM profile as well when I add links for this campaign there too.

![]() |

I'm all for equal opportunity hiring but a wheelchair could be a real problem in many field missions. Which this is.
I'm wondering who sent this team out here.

![]() |

"With specials like this, Crunch, it's a lot less free form and (at least recently) multiple small encounters that you can pick and choose from. But it seems that the Befuddled Pathfinders had the next most amount of votes last time so let's go help them."
Heh, oops - I never even noticed the "where to" voting happening here!
I was offline around the time of the vote and when I refreshed the gameplay, there was an encounter posted and I never scrolled up to see the "11 new" notification by the discussion tab. :)

GM Sedoriku |

So about that aid token, there's still two tables that haven't received one, but we could send it to any table. It seems like an even boosted Provide Knowledge isn't something that people are clamoring for as another table has been trying to find someone who wants theirs in the GM thread for this but still we should pass it before Part 2 starts on/before the 28th.

![]() |

Let's send the token to LeftHandShake's table.
Carmelizzia didn't have an action to point out, but could use a free action to yell, "to the east!" or similar, yes?
So we'd know where to keep looking, that is.
Being hasted and not having a great perception, I kinda feel like Crunch should just zig-zag around until they bump into something.

GM Sedoriku |

Let's send the token to LeftHandShake's table.
Everyone else good with this?

![]() |

Sounds like a plan to me.

GM Sedoriku |

Tapi, I will have to tell you that the Axe man was a stroke of genius it would have been awesome to see as the ax weapon was a vulnerability of the tree and dealt extra damage due to that. Wish we could have seen it.

![]() |

Where are we with passing an aid token? I wanted to give others a chance to boost one. And I think the Owl mission was next.

GM Sedoriku |

Whoops, I did forget to update you on the passed knowledge token. LeftHandShake got it.
As for the next it will be possible as soon as we start Part 2

Hah, thank you! I figured the mightiest foe to a tree is a lumberjack, especially a big one. Still, did its job though with the flanking, and if it ate even one attack I call that pre-emptive healing.

GM Sedoriku |

I think the Blodeuwedd is short 12 damage - either Carmelizzia's hit or the double from my crit. :)
(12*2)+16+12 is 52, right? I could be wrong, but those were all the attacks that hit.

GM Sedoriku |

RIGHT HERONDAL'S SPELL! Fudge I completely forgot about that.

GM Sedoriku |

The tables have completed enough encounters to complete the Chart a Course. We sadly can't do that any more but it did give us a boon that is on slide 3. Any further bonuses will be added there.

GM Sedoriku |

Well poop. Incredible Initiative doesn't stack, so it doesn't do anything for me.
Dang, that sucks that it's the same bonus as Incredible Initiative. It really ought to be an untyped bonus. (And dang did that take me a long time to realize what you were saying.
As for the Animals Defeated, for one round everyone can treat any melee strikes as gaining the flanking condition.

GM Sedoriku |

Three more benefits: The mushroom rings disabled allows the group to make one encounter easier, the Plants Cut Down allows the party to ignore difficult terrain for 1 round, and the Pathfinder's Rescued allows the party to heal for 3d8. Again using one of these boons doesn't take an action (much like aid tokens). If two people agree to the use of one, I'll say it's good to go.
Additionally, we only have a few more days to try finish this encounter, it should be doable, especially as the Blodeuwedd is very nearly down.

![]() |

It's all good!
Generally, weekends run at a slower pace, so not seeing a post within 24 hours is not unexpected.

GM Sedoriku |

Yup, it's okay for weekends to move a little slower.
We were nearing the end of Part 1 and were very nearly done with the fight, so I was going to move people along to get everyone else up again. Ended up ending the thing completely. (Also I could have sworn once all the Part 1 missions finished we moved to Part 2 and this was the last type of mission to be completed. We were beat out by another discord table by like an hour.)
However, we were able to get through most of the encounters in Part 1 so well done everyone!

GM Sedoriku |

We can boost and pass another aid token! Right now, we still have our Allied Offensive and Burst of Healing to hand off. Which one do you want to hand off first?

![]() |

You've been passed an Aid Token!
**AID TOKEN: Allied Offensive**
**From**: DM rainzax
**To**: GM Sedoriku
**Aid Character Name**: Thellira Daybreaker
Effect: Other Pathfinders assist your attack, increasing the damage you deal by the listed amount.
**Boosted?** No

We have a second aid token!
Additionally, A hero point to Delorn for trying to tackle the alluring Kelpie on his own and another to Herondal being so inspirational.

![]() |

Thanks.
If it matters, Herondal has already worn that crown. I don't have Arcane or Nature so won't work as the primary. I can burn spell slots for the critical success. Heightened Summon Fey might help.
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to also use Aid. Probably not since Summon Fey is 3 actions.

GM Sedoriku |

I would say aid is probably not possible for this. But the summoned fey might help. You can go ahead and roll or use that spell if you want.

Thank you!
I have Arcana 6, if that helps

![]() |

Is my +8 Nature really the best shot? Bwahahaha!
Edit: No, looks like Pyotr has a +10 arcana.
But lacks a hero point. :)

GM Sedoriku |

So, double checking with the other special GMs, it seems that imposing a penalty for something that isn't listed in the stat blocks wouldn' be a good idea, and with a snarling kitty right next to him, even if Crunch lost their memories, they would still recognize the danger to them. So Kitty would not have been able to crit there.
If the pixies were still invisible and not mentioned, I would argue that they would be flat footed to them, but only because they would not be apparent and nothing was known about them 5 minutes ago.

GM Sedoriku |

Let's see about boosting that last token! Anyone want to try rolling Medicine or cast a healing trait spell (I think it can be level 1 if you want or a focus spell)
Also Hero point to Pytor so everyone has one at the start of Part 3.

GM Sedoriku |

Prefect, I'll see if any tables need it, but if no one needs it, you guys can choose.

Well done everyone, you were one of the fastest groups on the boards here, and it was a pleasure to GM for you! Today is a busy one for me at work, but I'll have some time in about 5-6 hours to report and generate Chronicles for everyone. If you have a chance, double check your information on the RPG Chronicles page just in case.

GM Sedoriku |

Alright Chronicles can be found via google drive here! If you have any questions or concerns let me know, I can try to update as needed.
Additionally all downtime activities are something that you as players can track, if you want, feel free to roll here if you haven't already and add it to your sheet yourself.
I'll be reporting this immediately after this. It's been a pleasure to play with everyone and I hope to see you around the boards soon!
