The adventure begins on a Pegasus-class Starfinder Society starship, as your ship makes an exit from the Drift near Protostar-Vast-9312 (PSV-9312). The Starfinder Society has been invited to observe the stellar flareup by Bjovrishe (serious nonbinary maraquoi scientist) of the Deep Cultures Institute. A few weeks ago, you received this missive: Handout wrote:

Rain in Cloudy Day finally opens the door to Zarta’s office, gesturing to the plush chairs in front of her desk. Standing next to Zarta is Sorrina Westyr, the Pathfinder Society’s Master of Spells. “Thank you for coming so quickly and being willing to take on this mission. It may not seem like much, but it’s an important first step in investigating an unusual artifact.” Zarta smiles before gesturing at Sorrina to take over. From her satchel, Sorrina produces what appears to be a wayfinder with a clear glass cover. “We discovered this in an Azlanti temple to the god Amaznen. It was very well protected for the time that it had been under the ocean waves, so we’re all very intrigued by it. We’re calling it the clockwork compass.” She passes the artifact around, allowing everyone to take a good look at it. “Unfortunately, we’re still in the middle of clearing things up after Cheliax’s widespread aggressions this past year. We were hoping you’d be willing to oversee some experiments with the compass and take down some notes. Rain in Cloudy Day has agreed to assist you.” Zarta clears her throat. “The clockwork compass interacts with aeon stones, but we’re not certain of the nature of that interaction—which is where you come in. We have four different aeon stones, each of varying power, that we want to test in the clockwork compass. Rain in Cloudy Day,” she points at Rain who smiles and waves, “will control part of the experiment and be responsible for the aeon stones. “We want you to help and deal with any unforeseen events that may arise as each stone is tested. I don’t anticipate much trouble, but you can never be too careful when working with Azlanti relics.” Go ahead and post your introductions, and possible questions. Once 4 players have checked in, we'll get started.

Open discussion. This is for the Bridging the Gap convention in which players have registered through warhorn. Note this is a tier 1-2 game. Those players please submit your PFS details here:
I have not GM'ed PFS1 in a long time. But I've got almost 100 PFS1 games GM'ed previously so I guess they considered me still qualified to run this special! But bear with me if I make any mistakes :)

When the longshanks of Isger start to gather troops, the goblins of the Chitterwood Forest get nervous, especially when one side of those troops are mostly composed of Hellknights. Throughout the forest, there have been reports of undead attacks on goblin tribes, prompting some of the larger tribal leaders to gather together to discuss their next actions as a whole. As an ally of the Chitterwood goblins, the Crookedtoes tribe has requested that the Pathfinder Society offer some protection during the discussions, making sure that the only fires and explosions that occur are from goblin hands! This is part of the Bridge the Gap 2026 convention offering. Players have been determined by registration on Warhorn.

The adventure begins in front of the dollhouse, with the PCs having already been briefed by Eando Kline. They’ve been informed that the apparent toy was given to the Pathfinder Society by Queen Anastasia of Irrisen, and that all anyone knows is that it was a relic from former Queen Elvanna, a less than scrupulous ruler. The dollhouse is magical in nature, but it is unclear what its purpose is. The PCs were also told that the dollhouse has been in the Pathfinder Society Vaults for some time, but that the Society was unable to look into it until recently due to other pressing matters. After an incident with the night hag Aslynn, a steward noticed that the house was affected, and Eando decided it was time to investigate it. He apologized for not having any further information for them, as the PCs are the first group to look the dollhouse over properly since it was stored in the vaults. Please begin with your character introductions!

Discussion thread opened! The usual PBP game expectations: - Posting rate of 1/day
Looking to start the game on Sunday once Carly has created her character for PBP. If you know which character you are bringing, please include your PFS reporting numbers here! I'm old fashion so I don't use RPGchronicles yet.
One of the players from my local lodge has decided to get her toes wet into PBP. Recruitment for 3 players to play alongside someone who is brand new to PBP. She is fairly new to Pathfinder as well. No start date as of yet, but pretty much as soon as she is familiar enough with PBP. It will be tier 1-2.

The year is 7108 IC (Imperial calendar) or 4608 AR (Absalom reckoning), a good 99 years prior to the rise of the runelords. But that's a future problem. Welcome to Willowshore, a small and rural town (population of around 200) in the province of Shenmen. Being a self-sufficient town, many of the people are known to be farmers, fishermen, woodcutters, carpenters, the odd blacksmith and stone worker here and there. Being populated by forest on almost every side of the town, it's only natural that majority of the buildings infrastructure is made of wood. Simple peoples living simple lives for the most part. But it has a little complication, hauntings. But this is not really unique to willowshore, the whole of shenmen experiences hauntings and the season of ghost. The corruption and death that plague Shenmen during Lung Wa's reign, has caused the land to be cursed, and sometime in the summer, the ghost get restless. Summer is soon approaching Willowshore, and the reenactment festival, to keep us villagers safe from these apparitions, will soon begin!

I will roll all knowledge rolls in secret, and I will roll them immediately if the situation arises to save time.
For the most part I'm flexible with what you choose as a PC, but should be reviewed and discussed , rare options limited. I would be OK with 2-3 rare choices in total. But Being a PFS guy, any PFS restricted / banned options shall also be banned imo. Discuss PC choices below:
I'm currently preparing to run Season of Ghost for my players IRL. But why not double the fun since I've done the prep work? So recruitment is open to those who are interested, looking for 4-5 players

The Pathfinder Trials The adventure begins for the new recruits to the Pathfinder Society. Absalom, known as the city at the center of the World, the heart of the Inner Sea, beats with the rhythm of a million feet, and sounds of people in every corner. It is a kaleidoscope of the impossible: elven sages debating law with Hellknight enforcers while Qadiran merchants weave through crowds of every race known to man. At its zenith stands the Starstone Cathedral, a monolith of divine ambition that humbles even the boldest kings. Yet, the city's true pulse resides within the Foreign Quarter, behind the doors of the Grand Lodge. This is the nerve centre of the Pathfinder Society, a bastion where the legends of tomorrow are forged. For those who live by the creed—Explore, Report, Cooperate—the Lodge is no mere headquarters; it is a living monument to the vast history the society brings, and for you today, where your journey begins. Banners adorn the walls of the briefing room. Symbols of dozens of groups emblazon the banners, but overshadowing them all is an enormous tapestry at the hall’s front depicting the Pathfinder Society emblem: the Glyph of the Open Road. Venture-Captain Ambrus Valsin, steward of the Grand Lodge, saunters into the room from a door at the opposite end of a large table. He doesn’t bother taking a seat at the table, instead pacing around while he speaks. “Welcome. I’ll keep this brief; I don’t have a field assignment for you, but I do have some requests from the three deans. Given that you’re all in-between missions, the deans have requested that you take part in some training upkeep trials. Nothing serious, mind you. We just want to make sure those skills of yours don’t get too dulled!” Valsin ends with a brief chuckle, as though joking to himself. Please post your character introductions!
Hello all, after an extremely long hiatus due to personal reasons, I have ventured back into PFS 2nd edition, playing a few PbP and running a local game group. PbP has always been a favourite way to play the game and I'm keen to start GMing again on the forums starting with a level 1 Marathon, ending the run with your characters at level 2. The journey will start with:
The next two scenarios are up for discussion: Scenarios I own / have access:
Scenarios I don't own yet but feels like good ones:

The din of ringing steel and the simmering heat of the forge makes Smine’s Weaponworks easy to find, beyond even its sterling reputation and its well painted sign. An open sliding door leads into a work area filled with apprentices, each toiling to fuel the ceaseless demands for weapons to feed the city’s famed Arena of Aroden. One of the workers, a grim-faced halfling woman barely taller than her own anvil, flashes a smile and points to a narrow staircase at the back of the smithy. Climbing the stairs provides a small respite from the din and the heat, with hanging bowls of cloves and aromatic bark making a heroic, if futile, effort to cover the smell of coal and sweat. The Pathfinder Lodge above the smithy resembles an adventurer’s boarding house, providing an excellent cover for the comings and goings of the Society’s agents. Let's begin! Please post your character introductions and we'll start with gameplay immediately. In the meantime I'll also start updating the visuals for the gameplay!

Hello all! By means of introduction, I'm GM Batpony. Once upon a time a venture agent GM, but had stopped playing due to some mental health challenges. After 5 years, I'm attempting to pick the game up again and thought to go back to GMing PBP to re-learn the game. My playstyle tends to be quick with 1 post/update every 12 hour intervals, if that sounds up your alley and you can bear with me picking the rules back up, please join me! I target to kick off the game this weekend, i.e. tomorrow Saturday 6th of April if there's enough players.

As previously mentioned on the recruitment thread, 6 pregens released for the tier 5 special. Valeros, Ezren, Fumbus, Kyra, Seelah, Merisiel. So first come first serve! The pregens are available here. Chronicles can be applied at any level, but you must inform me so that i can properly documented it on the chronicle sheet. I trust most of you had a good amount of PBP experience, but if I'm wrong let me know and I'll try and help make this a smooth process for you. I had intended to start on Gameday, but if the party wishes we can start earlier but you will miss out on gameday boon rolls. Either way is fine with me, and I can get the game going by the weekend.

Alright Pathfinders, before we begin our journey, let's get some administrative and basics out of the way. First of all, I'll need your Pathfinder Information Name: (You'd like on your chronicle sheet)
Ensure your character sheet is linked or documented in your player profile for reference. Ensure your character has a header that includes basic information like race, class, levels, HP, ACs, Saves, Perception Mod, and (optional but ideal) resource like spells and ability trackers. I'm going off the basis that you've read some form of PBP and understand how it works, but if any of this has confused you and if you are clueless about it, please let me know and i'll gladly guide you through it.
This is a game for those brand new to PBP and/or PFS in general. (Experienced players can apply.) Selection will handpicked to ensure best experience for the newbies, and 3 spots for now have been reserved for new players. If you're interested in the game, please post below with your character you wish to bring to the table, and your Pathfinder player and/or GM experience. (If there's not much newbies, i'm looking for a good range of players to give an all rounded experience) Please take some time to click into my GM profile so you can have a decent idea of how I run my games. Game will start 4th of May. It's tier 1-5 and it should go without saying it would be a low tier game 1-2.

If you've not played with me before, do take some time to read up my profile to get an idea about me and expectations during the game. Though, I believe most of you have either played with me in some way or another! Heads up, I will likely be on a little quiet next week as I'm making a long commute from Asia to the USA, but expect to be fully back on the ball before next weekend.

The plan is to run Raiders of Shrieking Peak with the Resonance Test rules.t would be best if you downloaded the "resonance test" document to access the Pre-gens and read up a little bit on how it works. The Resonance Test Link. In summary, the changes to resonance and how it works is below: Resonance points: 10 per character, items with the invested trait require investment of 1 resonance point.
I'll give everyone till next weekend for prep, or if everyone has selected their pregens and is ready, we can kick off immediately. If folks prefer to play at 1.6 rules without resonance test, let me know and we'll play it by ear.

Recruitment for the Standard PFS named session above! I'm looking for potentially 2-3 more players to make a full party. This is tier 7-11, but I'm hoping to play it at low tier (7-8). Be warned, we have a hard deadline of 1st Oct, so this will be a relatively fast paced game where players are expected to post twice a day. Also do read through my profile to understand my PBP expectations. If you are interested and believe you can meet these expectations, please post below your character that will be interested to join. Selection will likely be by lottery, but I may pick players if they have GMed for me in the past.
